The "Bible (Fenton) 01-07, 09-10: Holy Bible in Modern English, The: Genesis - Judges, 1 & 2 Samuel" is a translation of the Bible into modern English by Ferrar Fenton, a London businessman, which began in 1853 and was completed in 1903. Fenton believed in rearranging the books of the Bible into what he thought was the correct chronological order, following the order of the Hebrew Bible in the Old Testament. Throughout the Old Testament, he translated the name of God as "The Ever-Living." Fenton's translation of the Book of Job, published in 1898, was done in collaboration with Henrik Borgström and was rendered word by word and line by line into the same meter as the original Hebrew.
