Douay-Rheims Version

The Douay–Rheims Bible, also called the Rheims–Douai Bible or Douai Bible, is an English translation of the Bible from the Latin Vulgate. It was created by scholars from the English College, Douai, who were working on behalf of the Catholic Church. The translation process took place between the years 1582 and 1609.
