Maddie provides affordable resources on her Teacher Paid Teachers page and holds monthly classes in partnership with We Be Bookin'. She can be contacted through various social media platforms and is excited to share information and activities through her podcast and social media pages. She also mentions an upcoming interview with a parent of a deaf child. Hi, and welcome to the Empowered Early Learning Podcast. I am Maddie, and I'm the founder, CEO, whatever you want to call me. I started Empowered Early Learning when I realized that teaching was no longer a line for me. And I didn't want to give up my degree, I didn't want to lose out on my passion, but I knew that in the classroom was just not where I was supposed to be anymore. So that's when I came up with Empowered Early Learning to help stay-at-home parents or nannies or just families in general that don't need to be in childcare. For those early preschool toddler years, there's so much that you can do at home. There's nothing you can't get at home that you get in the classroom, besides socialization. But even then, you can do Mommy and Me classes, you can do Daddy and Me, you can do friend groups, parks, all of that will still teach them everything that a classroom would teach them socialization-wise. So that's where I came up with this idea to create this platform to provide the project ideas, the tools for parents and nannies and whoever's taking care of your child during the day to educate them and do activities with them so they're not just playing randomly with toys or having entirely too much screen time. So I offer a few different services. I have a Teacher Paid Teachers page where I have lesson plans, templates, you name it, are up there. There's anywhere from free resources to resources that are like $10. I try and keep everything super affordable because life is expensive. And I also do classes currently once a month. We just made a partner deal with We Be Bookin' in Monroe, and we will start doing classes out there in November. And then we do book bundles with them. I have a TikTok page, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, I have a WhatsApp so you can text me with any questions, comments, something you want to know more about. And I'm really excited to start this journey of sharing more information through this podcast now and continue to share information and activities to do on our social media pages and see where this journey will take us. Tune in soon for a special interview that I'll be doing with a parent of a deaf child.
