oh hey hey hey welcome to our podcast um this is our new journalism project and we hope you guys enjoy it um our podcast and hopefully you guys actually I hope you guys enjoy it let's get to it comment down below so this one is about like the phone policy rule at our school and I feel like a lot of people I feel like every kid there hates it like it's so stupid like okay something went down my throat like you know what is going on yeah yeah honestly I feel like everybody has the same opinion because we all we can all agree even the teachers are like it's kind of like a stupid rule no the teachers don't agree the teachers like some teachers are like yeah I also think it's a stupid rule yeah no I've heard my one of my teachers has said that it's really stupid and like I don't get why we have it because she's like they act like the teachers like I'm not gonna name people but some of the teachers at the school act like if they see a phone and they don't take it it it takes like 30 years off their lifestyle exactly like you you act like you're getting a pay cut from your paycheck when you like yeah guys like I just feel like it's dumb because like look I feel like during tests like obviously that's right I feel like during tests like it's obviously like reasonable like obviously like you could be cheating it could be the test testing it could be the nwea testing it could be just testing like a quiz in your class in general but like I feel like when it when you're just like in class like doing nothing or when you have nothing to do but especially like during lunch and brunch like what's what's so big of a deal about it you know like right like especially lunch and brunch like like are you serious like is that really necessary to take like not pay but like tell everybody to keep their phones in their bags and like when like the teachers see it or like when they take it like like they snatch it and they take it so rudely like dude one time I had an experience I'm not gonna say which teacher I'm not dropping no name dropping because we might get in trouble and they might not let us do the podcast anymore so no name dropping but I remember this was this year and that's what I'm gonna say this was this year and one of my teachers I was obviously on my phone right I was texting someone right I was whatever and I never see her big bad will self come up and like take my phone like she snatched it so rudely like like like and she was like hey you're texting and I was like you can see you're texting this experience when I was new to the school because I came to um CMS in seventh grade so like it was like the first week it was the first week I was there and um the teacher no it wasn't a teacher someone in the high someone higher than the teachers I have a who someone higher than the teachers I did not know about the phone rule I did not know anything about it I did not that they weren't I did not know that they weren't allowed I did not know you weren't supposed to have a lot I didn't even know that you're not even supposed to bring them to school did you know um mr okay the someone to say their name and then we'll yeah said that um you're like if he no miss remember when you said like like he didn't care um he didn't care about the phone rule like he doesn't he thinks it's stupid he said he's the one that said if I could if I could make a rule for this school to not even have your phone allowed on the premises of this campus I would do it oh yeah yeah he said that because of how many kids um were taking the phone out and not listening to the rules but he um he I don't know who stated this but they were like mr poe like even like the high end like principals think it's pretty stupid but I feel like you know what you know what I feel like okay if that's a rule how would they find out if if they didn't take the phones away like how would the how would the sending of district know that the teachers didn't take the phone away the teachers back then in seventh grade I remember I'm not gonna say who because I don't want to get like in any sort of trouble but I remember um she let like her costume open for like lunch and brunch I think and she let us on our phones but just like no social media like no tiktok no making videos just like you could be on your phone and I was grateful for that because you're not some people some teachers like do that and I'm like so grateful because I can just go into the room and just like have your phone out exactly like just text whoever you need to text dad and do whatever text mom text dad sister whatever everybody can see them bald spots all over your head it's not okay and it's just like you don't pay for it why are you snatching them like that no right and then they would say they're also like oh it was like I could take your phone and then I could go to my office and I could lose it on the way there not my problem you're not paying for it then why are you taking it in the first place oh before you dig in snap a photo of your food to help oh bro kind of a scam anyways like yeah he said like it's not our fault if we lose it girl then why are you taking that in the first place if I didn't I used to take my phone away then why then why are you saying like it's not my fault if I lose it girl yes it is your fault is your fault because and I'm gonna sue you but trust me I will I don't care if you lose my I don't care and it's just like people are like it's just like you get paid I can't say that next topic let's just say that topic makes everybody mad no one's happy with it we got uh the topic of um people we all know we all know we all we've all met one of them before we've all known we've all had that one girl who or a guy could be a guy fake people it's just like it's so confusing to me when I meet fake people I thought I could spot them right away like so quick you can just tell by their energy yeah like just like you could tell by their energy the way they act the way they talk the way they do everything you just tell like oh stay away from that person and so why are you fake to people like you're wasting your time and your time only like maybe you're wasting their time maybe they'll be like I really like them and like I was friends with them I told them everything I told them all the secrets I'm like if you're with if you're friends with people just to be fake with them girl you're wasting your time because first of all like why like what's the point what do you get from that it doesn't make you seem cool people are just gonna be like oh don't be friends with that yeah and I feel like our our our school community like they're really like big on fake people like they won't be scared to admit like oh this girl is fake like there's watch out so many people that I've heard don't care about like some people don't care about what they think about you some people will just say it out loud and proud like some people like oh stay with that so yeah like yeah girl um I everybody knows my dude and I just I honestly like I don't understand people who could like be like that do you like do you have like no sympathy like literally no sympathy to like literally do that and I feel like that's also kind of moves on to the topic of relationships with like people that cheat on you oh are you kidding me like why do you guys cheat if you feel the need to cheat break up with them you're like it's just easier this way it's not if you need to cheat really not honestly at that point it's just like no if you need you don't love them you know if you need to cheat if you feel the need to cheat if you think about it you shouldn't be in a relationship at all period with anybody nobody it's just like why do you cheat just break up with them it hurts them it hurts them more knowing about the fact that you cheated on them especially like comparing up with comparing um sorry her phone got yeah my phone is dead and the storage is up full so we switched over to kim's phone if a pretty girl gets with like i don't even but if a pretty girl gets with like an ugly man that guy is gonna think i pulled this girl i'm gonna cheat on her and because i know i could pull anybody he thinks his ego is so high that he like any girl and pretty girl that's like she'll do whatever i could just eat my whole grandma right now i could eat my dog right now so currently waiting for our chicken if you guys don't know back up if you guys don't keep backup chick-fil-a sauce in your backpack you guys are sorry you guys so while she mentioned chick-fil-a i'm gonna be talking about some other topics should we do like opinions on like famous music artists yeah guys sorry we had to think about what we wanted to do so i spice she's not all that i'm sorry um she's just like she's all right she's very pretty her mom's a bad but with taylor swift i hate her i don't get i don't get how you guys listen to her it's just the same thing over and over again like girl we get it and it's just like taylor so she's like a she's a she's a cool person and it's like she's pretty personality don't hate on the personality personality don't hate on the person herself i just hate her music i hate the well the genre i'd listen to the genre okay genres pop country folk rock alternative how she pop i'm sorry i don't get it until she does pop punk i've never once heard honestly okay her songs back then were good don't get me wrong like i like style i like um you belong with me i like the old songs that she did better i mean better but honestly in reality i've never liked taylor swift and i can totally listen to her so like her songs her like popular songs from back then like 2016 or 2016 me personally i'm never wait you're not even talking into the mic we could pass it off to each other yeah oh yeah like yeah me personally i just never really liked taylor swift like her music i'm not saying i'm not shaming on personality or whatever like you do you girl like here he is like okay and like like yeah okay like she did good like she has a lot of money and she's like sorry and basically like she knows she's really popular you know but i just like i don't care about her music and i'm sorry for you guys for you swifty fans you guys are really nice swifty fans are really nice but i just don't like i just don't like the music okay um what should we talk about let's think about oh yeah i love my baby girl connie i used to get hella like hate wait do you guys see when he's walking an alligator i used to get a lot of hate for liking connie and now a lot of people made a switch up and are like obviously he's not a good person i'm not tolerating that he's a good person but his songs are really good some people choose to not support them support his songs because of like his actions but he's a really good singer and i freaking love his music so much cardi i love cardi oh my god my baby girl cardi which which cardi is your favorite i would say okay the thing is that people cardi changed a lot and he has like a meal i forgot what people call it but they call it something else um oh they call it by um his actual name they call him they call card playboy cardi by his actual name because they say oh this is like actually him like this is his normal voice because he's not like yeah yeah like like that he's like normal like his voice is normal like while singing so like people call it like his actual name and then um cash cardi and and what's it called yeah i don't know i i don't know which one i like i like all of them i just like cardi but if i had to choose one um i actually really like this one a lot of people they either love it so much like it's their favorite or some people dislike it i i like it is it my favorite maybe my second favorite wait what is it what the new cardi i love a lot of people i feel like a lot of people hate it i've never seen one person well maybe like a bunch of like guys yeah this is crime like come on a lot of people say it's prime yeah like wow this is the real cardi like this is cardi cardi cardi like cardi oh sorry guys i just did it could not bend over bend over sorry but yeah i love cardi in general i think all of him all of his are great but you know that one's probably my second favorite sure yeah okay guys but yeah cardi like i really like cardi because ew some then sorry and the fact that like we both like kanye west until i mean kanye west and cardi over so people gonna be like of course they like them she's like it's just like it's just like i like rap yeah honestly that's part of it too i feel like that's part of it why i don't like country i hate country or pop well pop is like certain songs certain songs that are okay i like underground um he like groomed a lot of people like a lot of young boys online i think yeah that's what he got canceled for why are you guys forgetting about what he did i'm sorry he's coming back he's coming back i'm like i see him on page too much and all the comments are like james i'm loving this new you excuse me you are switching up so much i remember the day when he got canceled he lost so many followers like so many like millions what about olivia rodrigo she's overrated overrated olivia rodrigo is overrated i'm i just like i don't get the hype well honestly some of her songs yeah they're all right yeah but i like some of those were hyped she's overhyped did you see what she's doing at her new concert i showed you a video when she was grinding on the floor people will call that mommy sorry in freaking 2020 i remember and my friend comments would be like mommy sorry mommy oh my god that made me cringe so hard like i just can't i can't oh also heather they would call them heather do you remember that oh my god i thought about this like a while ago and i was like do it with a little emoji from the indie faces back then indycore i used to want to be with someone i was so bad i wanted i wanted to be them so bad i was indie i would buy like in 2020 i would buy off sheen i would buy these baggy jeans with like this like uh cardigan that was like it was green no it was a it was a green cardigan with like sunflowers and it was and it was insane i would do the makeup i would do the eyeliner have you seen that froggy girl have you seen that froggy girl give me your phone i need to switch her up because i swear to god wait i need to whip something out real quick you guys i'm gonna cover her face now i'll show you like the fits that were fire back then do y'all see that don't say that fast then people would have phases that everybody else would have like they were on they were there would only be one trend in the whole world like well there was either alternative or indie there was no in between there or fairy core fuck that went into my nose anyways there was no in between that was like so long ago please stop they were kind of fire well back then back then it was fire now i kind of like more like a more like a basic like i don't care call me basic girl like i basic is looking kind of cute also why are clothes so expensive did you see inflation was crazy bro did you see like um freaking valenciaga made a bracelet out of clear tape like you know tape rolls i'll put a picture like right here insert picture right here and then here's valenciaga people will pay crazy money just for a brand name like if it has a brand name oh my god they'll go crazy like family cup there's other alternatives that was exactly like the family cup they don't care bro they'll they'll go for the 40 50 family even though there's other things this the family used to be mostly for like in your car and you can actually fit it in your in your car and you can actually fit it in your like car seat and have it like be big and like there's other alternatives so people just want the brand name like there's still something so special about it like people just want that freaking like and guys rich there's nothing wrong with off-brand stuff and you know what i've also noted like it's cute it's cute if it's cute it's cute it shouldn't matter if it's off-brand huh when i was in first grade i braided boogers into a girl's hair because she was mean to me you are crazy oh my god is there some people actually like this i would feel the same if i had that i would actually feel disgusted i fed a kid an orbee and told him it was a fish oil tablet wait why would the heck would they even a fish oil tablet exactly i faked a seizure in class to get attention from my classmate are you kidding me guys i cleaned up um almost everything it's okay okay um where do i put this the bag of everything oh my phone my charger okay guys all right guys that was obviously a little hectic it was not expected to happen at all but that made for good um content so unfortunately well it was kind of a fail i hope people found it entertaining somehow but um you're kind of a mess like cloaking next time if you guys want because they'll probably show this hope our journalism teacher will probably like add the snippet of like a snippet of this video to the morning announcement so if you guys see this in advisory come up to us and let us know if you liked how chaotic it was or if you want it to be more settled and clean we could do that for you guys but unfortunately for now what we're doing is for now uh maybe we'll we will make some adjustments in the future but you know i hope um this is all right i was not expecting but honestly it was really fun overall cleaning up was it was
