People are already betting on the 2025 Super Bowl, with the Kansas City Chiefs receiving the most money to win. However, the San Francisco 49ers are the favorites to win next year's Super Bowl. The Portland Art Museum will be hosting an exhibit of Paul McCartney's photographs from the Beatlemania era. Apple is reportedly considering creating a fitness tracking ring similar to the Samsung Galaxy Ring and Aura Ring. Dave Grohl's Epiphone DG-335 guitar, inspired by the Gibson Custom Line, is now available for $1,200. The famous bowling ball from the movie Kingpin, used by Bill Murray, is up for auction. I'm Big Rick Stewart, welcome to the podcast for the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack. It's a radio show that I do every Saturday at KVYN 99.3 FM, 99.3 The Vine in Napa Valley. You can stream from 993thevine.com, you can search for KVYN on TuneIn, you'll hear fun music and great information including 10 at 10, a Beatles brunch at noon, songs from my days at Live 105, KFOD, KFOX, new songs and more, and you'll hear great information like this. I'm Big Rick Stewart, it's the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack, thanks for hanging out today, fun music and great information. There are people betting on the 2025 Super Bowl, already, I mean they haven't even had the draft yet or anything like that, you know, the Super Bowl just happened of course. Already Chiefs fans are going crazy. The Chiefs have actually moved up a little bit with the odds to get the Lombardi Trophy and this is all from BetMGM Sportsbook and they say that they're getting a whole bunch of money on the Chiefs. They're currently getting two times more money to win next year's Super Bowl than any other team in the NFL and that's not, you know, that's not the odds favorite to win but they're just getting a lot of money. Who's the favorite to win the Super Bowl? The San Francisco 49ers! That's right, they're the favorites to win it next year, they've got plus 500 odds, Baltimore Ravens are third and the Chiefs with all that money coming in on them are second. Now this is not the time to really be betting on the Super Bowl, in fact, you know what I learned? I learned that a lot of pro gamblers, they don't bet until the Sunday of the Super Bowl, especially with the Super Bowl being in Las Vegas, do you know why? Well, if you know NFL history and Super Bowls, things happen on Saturday night. A bunch of 20-something multi-millionaires in the biggest party city in the world hanging out in Las Vegas. You know, they had the team stay in a hotel far away from the Strip and I didn't really hear of any incidents. But, you know, if somebody got arrested or hurt or whatever, that would affect your game right on Sunday. So if you want to bet, feel free, if you're a Niners fan, you know, go for it, what the heck, right? You can kind of hang your hat on for a while, but it is pretty early. But the 49ers are favored, got to love that. I'm Big Rick Stewart, it's the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack and 99.3s of mine. I'm Big Rick Stewart, it's the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack, thanks for hanging out with me today. I think you got to go to Portland, especially if you're a Beatles fan. You don't have to go right now, but starting September 14th, the Portland Art Museum is going to open the Paul McCartney Photographs 1963-1964 Eyes of the Storm exhibit. So what's this all about? These are actual photographs from Paul McCartney from those Beatlemania times back in London. Wow, this is all organized by the National Portrait Gallery in London and it's going to have more than 250 photos from Paul McCartney's personal archive as the Beatles were, you know, part of that crazy thing, the whole Beatlemania thing. The museum says they're going to use photos as well as video to capture the dawn of Beatlemania and all the things surrounding it. So, you know, photos of Lennon, Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Paul McCartney himself says the photos now bring back so many stories, a flood of special memories, which is one of the many reasons I love them all and know that they will always fire my imagination. Wow. So, once again, this is all coming to the Portland Art Museum and it's going to open on September 14th, run for quite a while, so you have some time. But September in, you know, Portland is pretty nice before the rainy season comes. You can see all these really cool photos. I think I'm going to go check it out. I can't imagine how cool this is all going to look. All right. I'm Big Rick Stewart. Host of the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack at 99.3 The Vine. I'm Big Rick Stewart, host of the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack. Thanks for hanging out. Got a little update for you on a possible maybe, maybe not, Apple device, maybe coming soon. Enough qualifiers there, right? This is from tomsguide.com. Now, if you know about the Samsung Galaxy Ring and this other one that's been around for a little while called the Aura Ring, you may kind of think, well, maybe Apple should make one of these. Well, you're not the only one. According to a report from Bloomberg, the Apple Ring is right now just an idea at this stage. It's not in active development. However, there are some people at Apple that are thinking, like, this would be a really good thing to have. All right. Now, you're probably wondering, if you don't know about these, why would I get an Apple Ring? What are these things all about? Well, what they actually are is a little device that you wear. It's a ring, and it tracks your heart rate and your steps and your sleeping at night like that. It's like a fitness tracker, except it's not a watch, so you can track all your fitness stuff, but you don't have to wear a watch while you're sleeping at night, and it's just a ring. And I know the next thing you're wondering is, I don't know where it's a big, ugly ring. Well, it's not that big, and you can make it as beautiful as, well, the options that they give to you. So you've got different styles and more. Aura has been around in this for a long time, and Samsung has got this going on, and now over at Bloomberg, they're thinking, like, you know, this would work really well with Apple Health and without needing to wear a smartwatch, and you could actually close your Apple Watch Rings, with your ring, and work with Apple Fitness Plus and more. So I don't know. So keep a lookout for this. They wouldn't be that expensive. Not as expensive as the watches and all that stuff, and I think it'd be kind of cool for Apple to enter that world. We'll just have to see. I do read good reviews about those Aura Rings, though. People like those. I'm Big Rick Stewart. It's the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack at 99.3 Divine. I've always thought it'd be cool to have, like, a whole wall of cool guitars, you know, hanging out in your room in, you know, the man cave or whatever, because guitars are cool. This one may be cooler than others currently available. Dave Grohl's Epiphone DG-335. Epiphone says, the most demanded signature model in its 151-year history is finally here, and it costs less than you might expect, and this is all from Guitar World. You can't play Dave Grohl's guitar, but you can play a Dave Grohl guitar, and this is what it's all about. They've actually played this, and they're telling you that it was inspired by the Gibson Custom Line. That's a premium offshore spec that typically carries entry-level Gibson price tag and gets you a lot more for your money. Like what? All right. A one-piece mahogany neck plus firebird-like headstock and a laurel fretboard. And they go on to say, the gloss-finished body is, pictures are beautiful. Has diamond sound holes found on Grohl's go-to electric guitar, a theme that's also reflected in these split-diamond inlays made of mother-of-pearl. And you know, for making all that racket and all that sound. You get a pair of Gibson USA Burst Bucker humbuckers. Oh. They say the finish is gorgeous up close. The build quality is on point, made in China, but they're making some great guitars in China, and the quality is top-notch. They really like it. In short, they say everything you'd want from an Epiphone Dave Grohl model. What's the price? $1,200. Seems kind of reasonable, and you get this cool case for it and everything. All right, guitar fans, you might want to check this one out. I'm Big Rick Stewart. It's the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack at 99.3 Divine. I'm Big Rick Stewart. It's the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack. Hey, thanks for hanging out with me today. It's always lots of fun here on the weekends. Are you into bowling? All right. If you're not into bowling, that's okay, because you're still going to like this story. It's about the 1996 movie Kingpin, with Bill Murray, one of my favorite Bill Murray movies ever. All right, well, Bill Murray is a bowler, and he's got this arch rival, Woody Harrelson, and they're kind of, you know, going at it and stuff like that. It ends up at a bowling alley, and they're bowling. It's a big bowling game, right? And Bill Murray's got this crazy hair, and it's all, he's totally Bill Murray. And I did read, by the way, that he improvised almost every line in that movie. I can see that happening. And Bill Murray, I'm going to give away the ending. He throws three strikes in a row, and, you know, does fairly well, kind of wins, right? And also, by the way, that really happened. He did really bowl three strikes in a row. All right, the cool thing is, he had this translucent bowling ball with a red rose in the middle. And it looks pretty cool, right? You can buy this at an auction right now. It's up for auction by Heritage Auctions. This story's from the Raw Report. And this famous bowling ball from this great movie is now available and up for auction. It weighs in at about 14 1⁄2 pounds. It's about the heaviness of what a real pro would use, and yes, it was really used in the movie. How did they know this? Because the actual item came from the movie's producer, Bradley Thomas. And it's up for auction. Last time I checked, it was going for about $40,000 over at the Treasuries from Planet Hollywood Entertainment Signature Auction. If you want to buy one that looks like it, you can find one for a couple hundred bucks on Amazon, I think. But the Bill Murray bowling ball from Kingpin, up for auction. Hairdo and clothes, come up with that on your own. I'm Big Rick Stewart, so I get the Saturday soundtrack. Imagine showing up to that on the Wednesday Night League. 99.3 Divine. I'm Big Rick Stewart. It's the Wine Country Saturday soundtrack. All right. Let's just go on the world of iPhones. There is these stories on social media saying your iPhone is suddenly sharing all your personal information with strangers. You never see where, like, they know who you are and what you're doing and turn all this off and it's all crazy. Not exactly. That's not exactly true, as is many things you see on social media. And this is from Macworld. They have this new feature on your iPhone. It's actually kind of cool if you're into it. Now I'll tell you how to turn all this stuff off so you don't have to ever worry about it if you don't do this. But it's a journaling app. So as you're walking around, it will kind of, like, figure out where you are. And then later in the day it'll say, hey, you know, maybe you want to write a journal entry on your iPhone about your visit to this restaurant or this place or this park or, you know, what you did or whatever. And it kind of sort of does know who you are with. But it's not like they're sharing all this information with everybody back and forth. It actually is called Discoverable by Others. And it's a toggle designed to help friends and family prioritize important events for journaling. All right. That seems pretty good. But on social media, some people kind of are freaking out. Now the setting on your iPhone uses Bluetooth to detect devices belonging to people you know. So they need to be pretty close to you, like, physically and also kind of, like, you know, emotionally. Both ways to be suggested for this journaling. It does not share your information with strangers and all this stuff. And so you don't have to worry about it. But if you want to turn this off, go to your iPhone, settings, privacy and security, go to journaling suggestions, and then toggle Discovery by Others to off. Pretty easy, right? All right. Don't freak out about all this social media stuff. I'm Big Rick Stewart. It's the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack. Just be slightly paranoid at 99.3 Divine. That's some of the great information you can hear on my Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack. I'm Big Rick Stewart. Check out the show every Saturday, 99.3 FM in Napa Valley. You can also listen from 99.3 Divine.com or KVYN on TuneIn. Thanks for checking out the Wine Country Saturday Soundtrack podcast.
