The speaker begins by greeting the audience and reading a scripture from Romans 12 verses 1 and 2. They introduce the pastor and talk about the sermon on the mind renewal process. They discuss how focusing on problems and negative expectations can affect our lives. They emphasize the importance of renewing our minds and filling our thoughts with positive things. They mention the influence of TV and the need to be careful about what we think. Our thoughts shape our feelings, actions, habits, and character. The speaker encourages the audience to pay attention to God's word and make it a part of their lives. I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us all rise for the reading of the main scripture in our sermon this morning. It is found in Romans 12 verse 1 and 2. Romans 12 verse 1 and 2. It reads as follows. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the message of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. May the Lord bless the reading of His Holy Word. Ladies and gentlemen, remain standing as we welcome the pastor commissioned and delegated by the senior pastor, Apostle Joseph Sithole, whom am I speaking about other than our own Pastor Chris Marizela. Hallelujah. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise His Holy Name. Amen. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Hallelujah. Amen. I have a message for you today. The success formula. Amen. We shared this message the other week, the 5 o'clock service in the morning. And he was so blessed. Hallelujah. He felt to receive this message and he instructed me. Amen. To repeat this message this day. Amen. Hallelujah. Now I titled it the mind renewal process. The mind renewal process. Amen. Hallelujah. I'm going to talk about three things and then we are done. Hallelujah. There are things that compels us to go into this process of mind renewal. And what we need to do. Amen. And how to do it. Things that compels us to go into the process. What we need to do and how to do it. Hallelujah. And then our scripture Romans 12 verse 1 and 2. Amen. Romans chapter 12 and then 1 and 2. Therefore I urge you brothers and sisters. By the message of God to present your bodies. Dedicating all of yourselves. Set apart. As a living sacrifice. Holy. And well pleasing to God. Which is your rational. Logical intelligent act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world. Any longer with its superficial values and customs. But be transformed and progressively changed. As you mature spiritually. By the renewing of your mind. Focusing on Godly values and ethical attitude. So that you may prove for yourselves. What the will of God is. That which is good and acceptable and perfect. In his plan and purpose for you. Hallelujah. We are told that whatever you focus on. You become. Amen. Whatever you focus on we become. And too often we focus on our problems. Instead of meditating on the promises of God. I mean I don't have a problem. We all have our problems. We all have issues in life. And these kind of things. And if you focus too much on the problems that you have. We are told. You end up doing what? You end up becoming the things that you focus upon. Amen. And number two. The first thing is that. What compels us to go into the process of mind renewal. Amen. The things that we focus on. Like the problems. And then number two. We are told that what we expect. Determines much of how we live. Your expectations. Amen. What are your expectations? How do you expect negative things? Amen. They will determine how you live. They are just born to be negative. Amen. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I used to live to work with this guy. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I gave him advice. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I gave him advice. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I gave him advice. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I gave him advice. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I sat down with him. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I prayed for the guy. I sat down with him. I prayed for the guy. Am I making sense? Hallelujah. We follow our thoughts instead of doing what? Of? Leading our thoughts. We have a scripture here. Ephesians chapter 4. Ephesians chapter 4. Let's read 22 to 25. That you put off concerning your former conduct to the old man that he grows corrupt according to deceitful lust and be renewed in the spirit of your mind and that you put on the new man which was created according to God in true righteousness and holiness. Amen. Therefore putting away lying let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor for we are members of one body. Amen. Let us be renewed in the spirit of our minds and put on the new man which was created according to God. Amen. Hallelujah. Try to explain the default mode. The experiences that we had are all. Amen. I gave this example and if you are not the only way you can receive love you are perfect. Amen. And that means if you are not perfect nobody will love you. Even God don't love you because you are perfect. And then you come to us we tell you you are not perfect. And then those who tell you you are not perfect and then you come to us what does that mean? It means nobody loves me because I was taught if I am not perfect be loved. Amen. You grew up with that and every time the word perfect is mentioned you come to us in a erratic mood. God loves you God does blah blah blah but the faith remains. You were taught from your families your friends and your colleagues and your classmates and your teachers if you are not perfect. Hallelujah. Those are the experiences. Thank you. Amen. When we fill our thoughts with the right things the wrong ones have no room to end. And most of the time we fill our thoughts with wrong things. I'll just give you one example here TV. Amen. We have a legend TV makes things appear right. I mean the soap that you watch you are so dedicated to watching your brother like going to church then I go Zoom and listening to the service because it's move on time or scream some time. Those things they will present to you things like the gay the lesbian like like all those things. But these are nice things. And because that's what you fill your mind with every day when you are dedicated it's good to be gay. It's so nice. Hallelujah. We fill our minds with such things and that is why the word of God says we need to renew our minds. Amen. Those are the things that compels us to go into the process of what? Of mind renewing. Hallelujah. Praise his holy name. Proverbs 4.23 Proverbs 4.23 Keep your heart with all diligence for out of it springs the issues of life. Hallelujah. Keep your heart with all diligence from out of it springs the issues of life. I said it the last time in the International Children's Bible. Amen. Proverbs 4.23 in the International Children's Bible. Be very careful about what you think. Your thoughts run your life. Be very careful about what you think. What happens? Your thoughts run your life. If there is negative in here it means negative will run your life. If there are lies in here it means lies will run your life. If there is corruption in here it means corruption will run your life. Be careful. What we focus on. Hallelujah. So be careful because that's exactly what will run your life. Our thoughts make us what we are. Our thoughts make us what we are. Hallelujah. The last time the thought life we are told our feelings come from our thoughts. And then the thoughts lead to actions. Amen. Then actions lead to what? To habits. And then the habits build our character. Hallelujah. It started here. So we need to be very very careful. It means if you want to change your character you need to do what? You need to go back to your thought life. I said it. Because you don't choose what you hear. The thoughts lead us through what we see and what we hear. And you don't choose what you hear. Again. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh. Let them not depart from thy eyes. Keep them in the midst of thy heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life. Amen. We need to make God's word a major part of our life. Amen. Give attention to my words. Incline your ear to my saying. Do not let my words depart from your eyes. Keep them in the midst of your heart. Amen. Let my words surround you. Let my words be inside of you, in your heart, in your lungs, in your belly, in your bones. Everywhere. Saturate yourself with the word of God. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. That's meditation. Amen. And every you do it day and night. Wow. It brings success. Meditation. Amen. I say it's not only about renewing the mind. It says there is success accompanying meditation. Meditation. Let's read Joshua chapter 1 verse 8 in the amplified. Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. Hallelujah. Are we receiving something today? Praise his holy name. This book of the Lord shall not depart from your mouth. Which is the Bible. The word of God. But you shall read and meditate on it day and night. So that you may be careful to do everything in accordance with all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous. And then you will be successful. Meditation brings what? Success. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. It demands discipline. Hallelujah. You must be disciplined. Amen. Give you an example. Sometimes. In the Bible. I'm talking about Isaiah. In the Bible. Today I'm ready to read. Chapter. Then you go. Chapter. And when you're done. Meditation. It happens to only. Hallelujah. Praise his holy name. Hallelujah. You have no idea. The only thing. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You're busy reading the chapter. Hallelujah. And when you're done reading the chapter. You are more frustrated than you were before you started reading the chapter. Because you have no idea what you're dealing with. The only thing. Hallelujah. So that is why I say you need to be disciplined. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Second Corinthians chapter 10 verse 5. It reads as follows. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself against the true knowledge of God. And we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ. Amen. Amen. We need to take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Amen. Amen. That means controlling your thoughts instead of letting your thoughts control you. We need to control our thoughts and not let our thoughts control us. In the message translation area, we use our powerful God tools for warped philosophies. Tearing down barriers created against the truth of God. And fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. Hallelujah. Amen. The word warped in the dictionary. So here we use our powerful God tools for bent, twisted out of shape, abnormal, strange, or distorted philosophies. Because those are the things that we receive every day. We receive strange things out there, distorted things, talk things, whatever. Hallelujah. Those are the things that we receive. I went into Facebook the other day. You know, there are people by the word, they worship Facebook. And these are the things that they are receiving from Facebook. And this is all. Not everything that you see on Facebook is wrong. Not everything that you see on television is wrong. But what you see on television is wrong. Amen. Amen. And we need to be careful. Hallelujah. We need to be very, very careful. And once... Be careful. Because they look for us. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. This is my beautiful wife. Hallelujah. Yeah, that's my daughter. Yeah. Amen. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise His Holy Name. Are we still receiving? Praise His Holy Name. We must think in agreement with God's Word. Hallelujah. 1 Corinthians 2, verse 16. Here we have the mind of Christ. Amen. We need to, again, with the help of the Holy Spirit, remind ourselves that we have Christ's mind. And we have the ability to think good, loving, caring, and positive thoughts. You have the mind of Christ. And we all know the mind of Christ is good. It's pure. It's positive. That is why we renew your mind. It means your mind was once pure. It was once good. It was once positive. But all those toxins, all those corrupt things, all those other things, crept into your mind. They have changed your mind. Now you need to renew it to its original whatever. Does that make sense? It takes deliberation, commitment, and intentionality to control our thoughts. It takes deliberation, commitment, and intentionality to control our thoughts. We are told that we must not only become believers, but we must also live as believers. We are told that we must not only become believers, but we must also live as believers. We must not only become believers, but we must also live as believers. Galatians 5, verse 25. Galatians 5, verse 25. If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit. Labano, these are two things. Living in the spirit and walking in the spirit. Hallelujah. Because sometimes if I live in the spirit, I'm also walking in the spirit. But that's not true. You can live in the spirit but not walk in the spirit. You can be a Christian. You can recognize yourself as a Christian. Because you are not living as a Christian. But you are a Christian. In the name of Jesus. Amen. Hallelujah. Amen. But the next thing, you are not living like a Christian. So, living and walking are two different things. So, if you are a Christian, make sure that you live as a Christian. Mind renewal. Yeah. I remember this is what I did. God saved on Sunday. The very same Sunday. Everybody was happy. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. We were happy. Later that day, we went to the waterfront. Do you still remember the waterfront? We went to the waterfront. There were restaurants and stuff. No problem.
