María Isabel Salinas, a former Peronist university student, was born on December 18, 1954 in Santa Fe. She graduated as a teacher from San Martín Normal School and later studied Biochemistry at the Faculty of Engineering, where she began her involvement in Peronist youth. She worked in the San Lorenzo neighborhood with Father Espinosa before moving to Rosario. Since September 1977, when she last had contact with her family, she has been missing. Today, a street in the San Lorenzo neighborhood is named after her. María Isabel Salinas, de juventud universitaria peronista. Nació en Santa Fe el 18 de diciembre de 1954 y se recibió de maestra en la Escuela Normal San Martín. Continuó sus estudios en la Facultad de Ingeniería en la Especialidad de Bioquímica, lugar donde empezó su militancia en la juventud peronista. Realizó trabajos en el barrio San Lorenzo, junto al padre Espinosa, hasta su traslado a la ciudad de Rosario. Desde septiembre de 1977, última vez que tomó contacto con su familia, permanece desaparecida. Hoy, una calle de barrio San Lorenzo lleva su nombre.
