KEYS TO UNLOCK GOD'S BLESSINGS IN OUR LIFE

And let your name alone be glorified, for we pray in Jesus' name. We started the year with a prophetic revelation that the year 2022 is our year of a special fervent prayer for what? Open heavens. And I was able to establish in our minds in the month of January that wherever there is open heavens God's blessing will always manifest. Whenever a man's heaven is open, whenever a family's heaven is open such a family will enjoy and experience God's blessing. I will be talking this morning on keys to unlock God's blessing upon your life. Keys to unlock God's blessing upon our lives. I have a bunch of keys here. It's about seven pieces. If I will use this particular one for the door that is not meant for sometimes it will enter but it will be unable to do what? To open. Has anybody had that experience in the past? You have a key but the key that you gave or you put in was a wrong one. And because it was a wrong one it couldn't open the door. And whenever the door is not being opened you will not have access. Without keys you will not have access to any house or beauty except your teeth. And we discover over time that I am having this bunch of keys if the owner of this bunch of keys misplaced it or lost it it will either force a carpenter or a welder to come and force the door open for him or her to gain access. So there are keys to unlock God's blessing upon his children and we will be taking them one after the other. If I desire God's blessing upon my life if you desire God's blessing upon your life number one key is prayer. Can I hear somebody say prayer? Say it again let me hear you. What is prayer? Several persons have divine prayer in several ways. But this morning I will be saying that prayer is unfolding the burden of our hearts to God. You have a burden. There is something in your heart. You now come into God's presence to unfold it. To express yourself before God that is what prayer is. Prayer is presenting your needs unto him that have a solution to your problem. Because if you take your problem to someone who does not have solution to your problem then you will complicate it. But God himself is an impossibility specialist. He understands the mind of man. And when I have problem, when you have problem the right thing to do is to come without your need to present it unto him because he has solution to every problem. There is no problem that is greater than our God. And even he asks us in the book of Jeremiah Is there anything too hard for me to do? And the answer will always be what? No. So if you want to unlock the blessings of God upon your life, upon your family there is need for you to do what? To pray. Another definition here is Prayer is a solemn request for help. I think we used to sing that song Something has made me to come into your world present. My world, my helper. A solemn request for help. Or expression of thanks addressed to God or any other deity. That is prayer. And when you have this understanding of the ability of God to put a solve and answer to your need then you are on your way to glory land. And I pray for you this morning that you will get there in the mighty name of Jesus. The scripture we read says Bless is that man that fears God. Hallelujah. Today people get involved in prayer and we have all kind of prayer houses all over today. But who are those men and women who are praying there? As much as God answers prayer God also has conditions for those that pray. Bless is that man. Bless is that woman that fears the Lord. The question this morning is do you fear the Lord? I always give an illustration when we talk about the fear of the Lord that today's church we have a lot of people that never have fear for God any longer. There was a young man somewhere who committed an offense or sin and possibly confided in pastor. And the pastor asked him this thing inasmuch two other persons are aware is not something that can be what? Hidden. There is need to come to the church board and what? And say hidden. Brethren, when this young man came to the church board he denied everything he has told the pastor. We have people today who have fear for God or for man who have fear for pastor who have fear for church board but they don't have fear for who? For God. Take it or you leave it. But the scripture says bless is that man bless is that woman that have the fear from God. There are things that many people will not do today when they see some people either church leaders or pastor or deacons or whoever but when the pastor or the leaders of the church are not there you are free to do such things. Such a man or woman never have the fear of God. I hear me, the scripture says any man that have the fear of God that walk in his way is a such person will eat the fruit of his labor. I stand on this altar this morning I join my faith with the revelation of the word of God that as many that live for the glory of God and walk in his way you will not lose your reward. You will not lose your reward. You will enjoy your life here on earth and eternal life at the end in Jesus name. When we talk about prayer in the bible prayer is described as seeking God's favor pointing out our heart or pouring out our heart like we read in the book of Ephesians Anna came to the altar of God to pour a heart before the Lord. And that year something unusual, something miraculous happened in the life of Anna and God gave Anna somewhere. Beloved brethren if we must enjoy the blessings of God we must be ready to put a stop to everything that do not want us to walk enjoy the blessings of God and the only way to do that is by what? Prayer. Now we have all forms of prayer. Mark 11 24 what does it say? Therefore I tell you all things you pray and ask for believe that you have received them and you will have them. Praise God. Everything most of the time we pray but we don't have faith we don't have the belief that what we have asked God for God as Lord has had us and He will do it. But if we will believe God the scripture says whatsoever thing you pray whatsoever means whatsoever I don't know what you are praying about or what you will be praying about the scripture says when you pray what I am saying this morning it is the mind of God to bless you it is the mind of God to prosper you and one of the keys to God's prosperity to God's blessing upon anybody's life is the ability to pray and to stop every power that want to stop you from being prayed. The Lord will help us in Jesus name. Let's get to the book of 1 Timothy chapter number 2 verse Timothy chapter number 2, Bedia are you there? verse number 1, thank you. I exhort therefore the first of all supplications prayers intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men. We have different kinds of prayers and you can see that from that picture I will start with the prayer of thanksgiving whenever we want to pray it is right and proper for us to recognize and appreciate God's prayers and commandments prayer of thanksgiving you know sometimes even adults pray like children used to pray if you have been among the children the smallest one as they have been taught in school whenever they want to eat they say Satan go away Jesus come and chop that is the end of the prayer and sometimes we pray like that if we want to pray we must first and foremost recognize what God has done in our lives when Jesus was teaching the disciples how to pray he taught them to say whenever you come to pray how do you pray? first and foremost pray what? our father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name you recognize the lordship of God over your life you recognize what God has done in your life you recognize the help of God from the beginning of your life from the beginning of your career from the beginning of your marriage to where you find yourself now listen we all used to say that anyone you thank today you can call tomorrow am I communicating? if we recognize that God has a role and is one and has power over our life we must pray prayer of war thanksgiving after we have thanked him after we have appreciated him in our prayer the next thing is to present other people's need before God that is prayer of war intercession prayer of war intercession pray for the need of others pray for the need of the church pray for the need of the nation pray one prayer or the other that affects one brother or the other at any given time a lot of people have been delivered not because of their own prayer but because somebody at that particular time took it upon himself took it upon herself to do what? to pray for such a man that is prayer of intercession at one time or the other I don't know whether there is anybody here who has had that experience that you have been prepared to be moved to take a particular brother's body to take a particular brother's story to present it before the Lord there was a story somewhere of armed robbery attack the thieves they are broken into the compound and God alerted another person to wake up in his own house to begin to do what? to pray for that family he never knows he said to him that there was what? robbers were already in the brother's house it was when they met and they were sharing with one another the brother now told him what happened to him a night before and that brother at that particular time was when he rose up and to begin to do what? to pray and the prayer of that brother stopped the oppression of the devil you don't know the length your prayer will serve a brother you don't know the length your prayer will serve a sister you don't know the length your prayer will bring deliverance but we must cultivate if actually we want to unlock God's blessing upon our life upon our family upon our life and do what? and pray on behalf of others thank God by the grace of God we have a group in this church who meet every Monday night to pray you may not know the weight of what that prayer is doing in our midst here but let me assure you that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man has been let forth much that you will enjoy and you will experience such deliverance as a result of somebody's prayer in the mighty name of Jesus another prayer that the church today has forgotten about is prayer of consecration prayer of consecration a day you will set apart not to ask for anything but the will of God in your life all you want to pray is not for size is not for your career is not for your business is not for car or house but Lord let your will be done channel me channel me direct me to your will for my life let's look at the book of Matthew chapter 26 verse 39 Matthew chapter 26 media quickly help us verse 39 Matthew 26 please verse 39 prayer of consecration the scripture says and Jesus went a little further and fell on his face and it was and it was and what was the prayer oh my father if it is possible let this God pass from me never delay not as I will but as I will sometimes when we have a young one now did you actually pray for the will of God in marriage people get confused did you actually pray for the will in your business a lot of people get themselves involved in one business or the other without asking for the will of God listen to me when you are in the will of God it may seem difficult but God will always make a way out did you hear me there are men and women today if they will open up to you what they are going through you will never be able to work to comprehend it but because they are in the will of God the grace of God are the ones sufficient for them you know the story of brother Paul at a point in the ministry of Paul and Paul was praying let this storm let this trouble be removed from me what was the response of heaven heaven said my grace is what is sufficient for you listen when you are in the will of God when you are in the purpose of God his grace will always be what is sufficient for you how many of us pray such prayer any longer today prayer of consecration prayer of dedication we want to get ourselves dedicated to the cause of God to the purpose of God for our life and when we are able to pray such type of prayer then we will enjoy or we will unlock the blessings of God that have been held down over the years and I pray that as this year is running out you will not run out empty handed if you are the one I am talking about let me hear you I believe in you Amen another prayer is prayer of supplication prayer of supplication you are making a request you are making a request the book of Timothy says whenever you pray pray for prayer of supplication prayer of intercession prayer of what? Thanksgiving Philippians chapter number 4 verse number 6 says this don't worry about anything don't do what? talk to me don't do what? but in everything through prayer and petition with Thanksgiving let your request be made known to who? to God that need of your life that challenge that you are going through that situation that will cause you crying that will make you so weak that Christ will say you should come and present your world your request before Him and I pray today that as we hearken to the voice of God as we hearken to the voice of God heaven will hear us it is the mind of God to bless you it is the mind of God to prosper you but there are keys that you need to access this and I'm saying this morning one of those keys is what? prayer prayer another thing we discover in the book of Acts of Apostles is that the early church they pray corporate was prayer and then for the last 6 months now every last Sunday we will always wait behind to do what? to pray and we have also observed that there are many who will never wait because they don't want to join the corporate world prayer corporate prayer has to do with everybody praying and prayer of what? agreement the book of Acts of Apostles says they pray in one word one accord in what word? come and talk to me in one word one accord they had one mind and because they had one mind what they prayed for did what? happen the spiritual say why they were still praying where they were was what? was shaking the presence of God was made real in that very place the presence of God was made real in that place prayer of agreement I don't subscribe to those men or those women who can only have prayer of agreement with another person's husband or another person's wife the best prayer partner when it comes to prayer of agreement is your who? your husband or your wife your husband or your wife but some people the man will be having prayer partner and the prayer partner is another person's wife another person's wife why the woman also will be having the prayer partner the only prayer partner that woman can have is another person's husband be careful be careful make water no pass carry yes young ladies you are looking for prayer partner I recommend you look for a sister like yourself as who? before your prayer partner will become your husband even when it is not the will of God but it will become your husband by force by fire am I talking to somebody today? and when you marry outside the will of God then the blessing that we are talking about can never work can never come your way but it is the mind of God to bless you it is the mind of God to prosper you and I pray once again for you that heaven will help us to be able to do the right thing let me just show you one or two persons in the scripture we know the story of Jarvis we know it too well that this man his second name or the interpretation of his name is what? sorrow and we are saying this is our month of overflowing joy whatever want to bring sorrow upon your life as we gather together to pray on the power of God that thing is taken away from your life in Jesus name the scripture say Jarvis was born in sorrow the mother gave him sorrow you don't know you don't see any better name to give your pity the man that work for street not sorrow in the office not sorrow everyday sorrow sorrow but the man say not lie it was my mother who gave me this one I have right to rewrite my story I pray for somebody under the side of my voice today whatever name any man has given you whether man or angel that is contrary to what God has given you heaven will turn it around for you I say heaven will turn it around for you Jarvis say no no no I cannot remain like this something must change my life must be transformed and I used to enjoy that scripture and the Bible say and the Lord heard him and the Lord did what? heard him anyway I pray for you that today heaven will hear your voice and as heaven hear your voice there shall be transformation in the mighty name of Jesus and the story of Jarvis changed the man that was known and regarded as sorrow his story was changed and he now became an owner of an estate because
