The transcript discusses the viral Willy Wonka experience in Glasgow, which turned out to be a disappointment for parents and children. The attraction was promoted using AI images that made it look magical, but in reality, it was just a warehouse with a few props. The actors' lines were also created by AI, and there was a new character called The Unknown who became popular. There are rumors that the experience was inspired by a horror movie. The Oompa Loompa character was meant to create wonder and make lollies. Families were so disappointed that they called the police. Overall, it was a bizarre and embarrassing experience. You're on Zoozbracky! I'm sure we've all seen recently the snippets of the questionable Willy Wonka experience that was put on over in Glasgow last week and it just went absolutely viral where they used I think AI images as promotional material but ended up with something that was only a few props away from an empty warehouse for an attraction. The bizarre story seems to have progressed further somehow and on the phone with me is pedestrian TV entertainment reporter Laura Marcia to chat us through what the hell is going on. Good morning. Hello, hello. It has been an absolute doozy, hasn't it? I just can't believe how many different sort of facets of storyline this thing is generating. Completely. As you know, it kicked off last week when all of these parents were really, really excited to bring their kids to this wondrous experience which was described as a paradise of sweet treats were shocked to walk up to this warehouse that had a few different, like a sparkly rainbow and some really sad looking items in it. And it was sold with AI images that looked like there was a swirling sky of colours and magic but it was really, really disappointing. So there are these kids just like stomping along on concrete, they're being handed just jelly babies, one or two per child, mind you. Very generous. Very, very generous. And it's wild because this was sold at 67 Australian dollars and even the script that all the actors were put on was created by AI. So what, they like chat GPT'd all the actors' voice lines? Yes, yeah, absolutely. It even created this new character called The Unknown who's gone really, really viral. And The Unknown turned out to be this 16-year-old girl called Felicia and it was her first acting job where she's just wearing a silver mask and she comes up from behind the mirrors and she's meant to be a rival chocolatier who lives in the wall. So that was kind of the storyline that they're running with and my absolute favourite thing about this story is that as of today there's whispers that the Willy Wonka experience was inspired by a horror movie, which I will be watching. I'm too sucked into this whole story not to watch the horror movie. I'm looking at this character, The Unknown, and as far as I can see they're hiding behind things like, oh well they're hiding behind a mirror here but I'm amazed they actually had a mirror inside the warehouse, there wasn't much there to hide behind. It's so good and another thing I found very funny about this whole experience was within the hour of families arriving with their kids, they called the police, it was that bad. Pretty embarrassing. So you picture that people probably have seen of that Oompa Loompa who looks like they're standing behind a clandestine drug laboratory, was there an explanation of what the Oompa Loompa was actually meant to be doing? I think just creating wonder, creating all these lollies, you know how the Oompa Loompas in the traditional world are often, were the ones who created these amazing lollies and I know that this one in the story, it was a non-anti-graffiti gobstopper, the Unknown was trying to steal Wonka's recipe for the anti-graffiti gobstopper, big thanks to Chats EBT for that wonderful storyline. Thank you very much for coming on for a chat Laura, it's just something else. Thanks Tegan, I appreciate it. There's Laura Marcio, the entertainment reporter for Pedestrian TV, just running us through what in the world is this Willy Wonka experience? You'll see it, if you haven't seen it yet, at least now we've briefed you and when you do you'll know exactly what's going on. You're on Zoo's Breakfast.
