The speaker at the Bible meet is emphasizing the power and importance of the Word of God. They explain that the Word of God is not static, but actively moves and accomplishes what God intends. The Word of God is described as a person, alive, powerful, and sharper than a two-edged sword. It is emphasized that the Word of God is not just ink on paper, but a living being with the power to bring about change. The speaker encourages believers to understand and engage with the Word of God, as it is God's means of revealing Himself to us and empowering us to do exploits. They explain that when believers declare the Word of God in faith, the Spirit of God moves to activate and accomplish what has been declared. The speaker emphasizes the importance of knowing and engaging with the Word of God in order to live a powerful and victorious life. Praise the Lord! People of God, praise God! And a warm welcome to another Sunday evening Bible meet here at the Wheatfield, the place of the miraculous, the place of intimacy with God. As always, it's a joy and a privilege to be able to bring the light of God's Word to God's people this evening. And as I prayerfully considered what to talk about this evening, my heart felt led to share with us on what I have titled, The Wonder-Walking Word of God. The Wonder-Walking Word of God. Let's pray. Spirit of the Living God, we worship you, we honor you, we reverence you, we acknowledge that you are the Spirit of knowledge, you are the Spirit of God, you are the Spirit of truth, you are the one who knows the mind of Christ. Teach us, Holy Spirit of God, this evening. Speak to us. Open up the mysteries of the kingdom to us today. In Jesus' name, Amen. And so, as I thought deeply about the revelation that I, in my Christian walk, have been coming into about the truth of the Word of God, who the Word of God really is, and as I have been growing in my journey, my spiritual journey, I have felt really pressed in my spirit to share what I am learning about the Word of God. And you know, the Bible tells us in Psalms 119 verse 130, the Bible says that the entrance of thy words give us light. It gives understanding to the simple. So the Word of God moves, the Word of God enters. For something to enter, it has motion, it has mobility. Psalms 147 verse 15 tells us, He sends forth His commandment upon the earth. His Word runs very swiftly. So, not only do we see that the Word of God moves, the Word of God runs very swiftly. The prophet Jeremiah said, in Jeremiah 1 verses 4 and 5, Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you. I ordained you a prophet to the nations. Brothers and sisters, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, the word of the Lord moves. The word of the Lord walks. The word of the Lord runs very swiftly. In the first book of Kings, 1 Kings chapter 18 verse 1, the Bible says, And it came to pass, after many days, that the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go present yourselves to Ahab, and I will send rain on the earth. So, we have seen now, that the Word of God is not static. The Word of God isn't paper. The Word of God isn't letters. The Word of God moves. In Hebrews 4 verse 12, the Bible says, The Word of God is alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and the marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart. This is verse 13, which says, Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight, but all things are naked and open unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. This is actually Hebrews chapter 4 verses 12 and 14. Hebrews 4 verse 12 and 14 says, The Word of God is alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart. Hebrews 4 verse 13, Nothing, neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight, but all things are naked and open unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. So we see that the Word of God is mobile. The Word of God is active. The Word of God is powerful. The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword. The Word of God runs swiftly and the Word of God can see. The Word of God can see. Verse 13 of Hebrews 4 says, Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight, but all things are naked and open unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. The Word of God is a person. The Word of God is living. The Word of God is active. The Word of God moves. He walks. He runs. Swiftly to accomplish those things that please God and in those things he prospers therein. He does not return void. This is Isaiah 55.11. The Bible says in Isaiah 55.11, So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth, says the Lord now. It shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. This is the Word of the Lord. The Word of God is alive. The Word of God is a person. The Word of God is not paper. The Word of God is not ink. The Word of God is a person manifest in writing. And so if we begin to see the Word of God correctly for who he is, we will learn how to engage the ministry of the Word of God. We will engage him differently and the result of that engagement will show, it will show in our lives. So what I'm trying to say is this. If we come out of that false belief that the Bible is pen, is ink and paper, that the Bible is a storybook. You know some people surely believe that the Bible is a storybook. It's a history book and everything that happened in the days of Elijah, it's all history. If we as believing Christians are able to step out of that falsehood and we are able to see the Word of God correctly as a being, as a personality. As a personality endued with the life of the breath of God to go on assignment from the God of Heaven, we will engage the Word of God differently. When we read, you know there's some people who if they're in trouble they read Psalms maybe 91. They read it because they believe, they've maybe been trained that Psalms 91 somehow will help them out of trouble. This is true. Psalms 91 will help you out of trouble if you get into trouble because of the life in that Word. Because of the power of the personality of the Word, not because of what's written. What is written is powerful because of the life that backs it up. And that life is activated by faith. You have to believe that the written Word that you're looking at in your Bible is actually a living, breathing being. It's the breath of Almighty God. Everything God did and everything God is still doing, He's doing by the Word of God. He's doing this by the ministry of the Living Word. God in the beginning He said, let there be and there became by the power of the words He spoke out of His mouth. God said let there be light in the beginning and immediately there was light. The Bible says God said let there be light and by the power of it nothing else happened. He spoke and the Bible says after He spoke the Spirit of the Living God moved and hovered over the face of the earth. Do you know therefore that the Spirit of God is power of the Word? When God speaks His Word, the Spirit of God moves, enters into the Word and moves that Word to what God has spoken concerning, what God has spoken about. The Spirit of the Word of God moves and occupies the Word that God has spoken and propels that Word to the place that God sent it to because the Bible says the Word of God will not return to Him void. It goes to what He pleases and in that thing it prospers. So in the beginning when God said let there be and the Spirit of God moved, it's still happening now. When the Word of God concerning a matter is declared by the mouth of the believer, the Word of God assumes life backed up by the Spirit of the Living God. And the Spirit of God moves that Word to what God has purposed, what pleases God concerning that situation. So for example somebody is sick and the Word of God is declared over this person, you shall not die but live. The Word that you declare over that person is activated by the Spirit of the Living God. Once you speak that Word, the Word is backed up by power to move and run swiftly concerning what you have spoken it for. Concerning what you have spoken it for because it pleases God that you believe that His Word will have effect over that situation. So that is a situation, a scenario that pleases God and God has designed it so that His Word once it is released goes into the thing that pleases Him and it does what God intends. It prospers in it and returns with answer. So when God speaks and the Word of God moves, what God intended by His Word is actualized. If God says, I will be the head and I will not be the tail, that means what the Word says is what pleases God. God intends for me to be the head and not the tail. So His Word has said what pleases Him. Now when I as a believer, I declare that Word by faith, believing that the God who wrote this Word means what He wrote, there is a power inherent in the Word that is released once I speak that Word. Because the Bible says the Word of God, my Word that comes out of my mouth, because I am made in the image and likeness of God, when I speak the Word of God, it is the same thing as if it is coming out of the mouth of God when I speak it in faith. Believing that the God who wrote this Word intended for this Word to work. Once I move in faith, God moves also. God moves and honors my faith. When God speaks, His Word moves to execute and actualize His will concerning any matter. So when there is an issue, a situation that I need to change and I believe in my heart that the Word of God has the capacity to change it, God honors my faith. I declare the Word of God over that situation, God honors that and He actualizes His Word. His Word becomes a living Word and goes to do exactly what God wrote in His Word. So whatever God wrote in His Word, if you have a situation and you apply the Word of God to that situation, what God has written concerning that Word is what will happen because the Word of God is pre-programmed to do what God intends. The Word of God is not letters. The Word of God is a person. The Word of God is a person. The Word of God presents in the form of letters. Why? So that human beings can have the ability to see God. That's it right there. The written Word of God is a form, a manifestation of God. The written Word of God that we see in the Bible is God. It is a form in which God has elected to present Himself to man to reveal His reality, the reality of Him, of Himself to human beings so that we can see God and live. No man, the Bible says, can see God and live. But God desires that we see Him so that we can believe that He is who He says He is. God desires that we see and know Him. But because we cannot see God in the flesh and live and God desires to reveal Himself to us, He presents Himself in the form of letters that man can read because we can't see God with the naked eye but we can see the Bible, we can see the letters, the Word, the written Word with the naked eye. So God intends to reveal Himself to us, to reveal the reality of Himself to us and He presents Himself in the form of words and He backs up His Word, backs up these letters in the Bible with His breath, His life force, so that anyone who believes His Word and takes Him at His Word would begin to see God, reveal Himself in ways that prove His reality in the land of the living. So basically what I'm saying to you, brothers and sisters, is that the Bible that you see, the Word that you read, that's God. It is God in the form of letters. It is God in the form of writing. That is God. We cannot see God and live as human beings. But if you want to see God, pick up the Bible. The words in the Bible, that is God in letters. The Bible says that God has exalted His Word above His own name. Psalms 132 verse, Psalms 138 verse 2. God is El Elyon. He is the most high God. Yet this God, who is greater than the greatest and above all, He has exalted His Word. He did this. No one. He made that choice. That because He really wants to reveal Himself to His people, He wants His people to see Him and know that of a truth, He is who He said He is, He has now exalted the written Word that people can see. He has exalted His Word above His own name. God has exalted His Word above His own name. So the God whom we cannot see has empowered the Word whom we can see, that we may believe and that we may be strong and that we may do exploits in the power of that Word. This is profound. This is very profound. John 1 verse 1 says, In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst men. That is the sum. That is the sum total of who the Word of God is. The Word is God. Jesus came as the manifested Word of God through the womb of a woman and dwelt amongst men. He was there in the beginning as the Word. He became flesh and came through the womb of a woman and dwelt amongst men. Right now He is still here. Jesus is here moving amongst men doing what He did when He was living on earth as in the flesh doing the miraculous. He presents Himself in the form of letters. The written Word you see is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost all combined for you to see with your naked eye. And so any believer who is unaware of this truth is going to surely live a defeated and mediocre life. Why? The reason is simple. If you don't know the power, the awesome power at your disposal by reason of your access to the Word as a believer, you can't do exploits because you can't employ the services of something you don't know the use of. For example you have a very powerful drill. You know like those drills that you use to put nails on the wall and you need to hang up a picture or you even need to do some heavy duty construction work. You don't know that you have a drill that can help you drilling nails easily. You have a hammer in your hand and you are fighting to knock in a nail and you are exerting so much effort when you can easily employ the services of a drill that is so powerful and so quick and so effective. So you are going to be an ineffectual builder and maybe an incompetent builder if you are trying to do with a hammer to knock in a nail when you have a high power drill that can do the work for you. This is why we need to understand whom the Word of God is. Understand His assignment in our lives, His assignment on earth and the workings of His ministry. The Bible says that in the beginning God said let there be and there became by the power of His Word and the Bible tells us that God upholds all things by the Word of His power. So the same Word who created all things in the beginning is the same Word upholding all things now. The Word of God does not change. It is everlasting. The Bible says the Word of God is already settled in heaven. The same Word who in the beginning created all things by the power inherent in the Word is the same Word right now upholding all things. So when you decree and declare a thing from the Word of God, the Word of God has the power to actualize what you have declared. Why? Because the power of God follows His Word. In the book of Job it is written and you shall decree a thing and it shall be established for you. If you as a believer you don't know the efficacy of the Word that you have in your house, the Word that is laid up by your bedside, the Word on your table, that Word, the Bible that you look at, some people put teacups and all kinds of things on their Bible. If you don't know who is in the Bible, if you don't know the power that is packed up and wrapped up in that book, you will not engage Him and He will not move on your behalf. Because the Bible, the Word of God needs to be activated, the Word of God needs to be commanded, the Word of God needs to be instructed by declaration backed up with the faith of the believer. Once you declare a thing by the Word of God, by faith, the Spirit of God moves into the Word that you have decreed and declared and activates it, the Word of God begins to run swiftly to whatever it is you sent it to. Because it is the pleasure of God, the pleasure of God is that you believe His Word can solve the problem. So once you believe the Word of God can solve the problem and you deploy the Word of God to that problem, God is already pleased and the Word of God is programmed to go swiftly to what pleases God and in that thing prosper and then return with answer. The Word of God never returns void, He must come back and do what God ordained to be done by that written Word. The Bible says in Daniel chapter 11 verse 32b, They that know their God, they shall be strong and they shall do exploits. You cannot do exploits if you are unaware of the inherent power available to you in the world for doing exploits. A wordless life is a powerless life period. I say that one more time. A wordless life, a life that is devoid of the Word, a life that is devoid of the power of the Word, a word that is devoid of the power that comes with knowledge of who the Word is, is a powerless life. A life that does not know and does not interact, does not employ and deploy and engage the Word, the living Word, is a powerless life period. And so how do we move from powerlessness, from wordlessness to a life on fire? Simple, engage the Word. The Word of God is at our disposal because the Bible says that God is nigh unto us. Engage the Word every single day. Read the Bible. Every single day read the Bible. The more you read the Bible, the more connected you become with the power that God has hidden in His Word. The more you read, the more you will want to read. Why? Simple. The Word of God becomes, it comes alive to you. Once you read the Word of God, really looking for knowledge, looking to know who He is, He reveals Himself to you. He meets you right there in the pages of the book. The Word of God comes alive to you and pops out of the pages of the Bible to reveal the true God to you. Why now? Because you are hungry. You want to know. This is what happened to the Berean Christians. They had heard, but they wanted to know for themselves. And so they went and they searched the scriptures associated with the Bible. And they found the truth. As you read the Word, pray the Word. Because, like I said before, God is committed to His Word. If He said it, He will do it. For His name's sake. If He said it in His Word, He will do it. You may not know how He will do it. You may not know when. You may not even know who He will use. But His power follows His Word. Present His Word to Him. Present His Word to Him. Lord, it is written. In Isaiah chapter 55 verse 11 it is written. Once God hears, it is written. God is mandated to move based on what He has said. Why? Because God is not a man. He cannot lie. Tell God, it is written in Your Word. And I believe You. I believe Your Word. So because You have said it, and I believe, I now decree over my life what You have said. I decree it so. It is so. In Jesus' name. And it will become so. According to His Word. As long as He has said it, it must be. If not today, tomorrow. If not tomorrow, next week. If not next week, next year. You may not know when. You may not know how. But the Word of God never falls to the ground. God's name is tied to His Word. God is invested in making sure that His Word comes to pass in our lives. So that we may believe. So that we believers may believe more. And unbelievers may come to the knowledge of the God whom we serve. We make our boast in God. God is not going to leave us high and dry. His name is at stake. His name is at stake. Glory awaits God in Zion. His Word must come to pass. It is in His best interest for His Word to come to pass in your life. Why? Because you have put yourself out there to say, God said, because God said, it shall be so. Isaiah, the prophet Elijah did that with the prophets of Baal. And said, call on your God, I call on mine. Work your altar, I work mine. Let us see whose God is God. For the God who answers by fire, He is God. And God did what? God answered by fire. Why? Because Elijah put himself on the line. And said, Elijah really didn't have any way of knowing for sure if God was going to answer or not. We don't have that recorded in the Bible. But Elijah knew the God whom he served. How? By reading of the Word. Elijah had never seen God face to face, eye to eye. Elijah also was a man of like passions as us all. He had never seen God eye to eye. But he believed God. And he stood upon the Word of God. And he moved based on that belief. And God answered by fire. God will answer each and every one of us. As we move in the conviction of who His Word is. In Jesus mighty name. Amen. Well, people of God. Again we have come to the end of our meeting for today. And as always we are grateful for the opportunity to share God's Word. And we pray that our hearts as we have heard this Word. This very, very timely Word. And this urgent Word. I pray that our hearts are receptive to His Word. Because the Word of God really wants to reveal Himself to men. God wants to reveal Himself to men in this season. God wants to reveal Himself to men. And the way God reveals Himself to men is in His Word. And so I pray that our lives are changed. I pray that as we read the Word of God. Jesus is revealed and glorified in our lives. And we receive power and grace to do exploits in Jesus mighty name. Amen. So until next time. Stay covered. Stay filled with the Word. And stay victorious. Bye.
