Ancient Greek Philosopher-Scientists

The Ancient Greek Philosopher-Scientists were a group of individuals who lived before or during the time of Socrates and were highly influential in shaping modern philosophy and science. They were the first to reject traditional religious explanations for natural phenomena and began searching for rational explanations instead. While they did not form a specific school of thought, they are considered the "fathers of philosophy" and many other sciences. Unfortunately, none of their original works have survived to modern times.
