Creating a progress board is a cool activity where individuals or teams write down their goals and track their progress. It's important to acknowledge and visualize progress, which motivates people to improve. This can be done by creating an activity board where people write down their progress and acknowledge teammates' progress. Visual stimulation leads to the willingness to continue progressing. One of the things that you could do as a really cool activity is to create a progress board. You can do this for an individual, you can do this for a team, and actually have people write down during the week their goal for progress, and at the end of the week denote where they progressed and where they will continue to progress. Here's the coolest thing. Now obviously if you have people who are being coached that are in front of customers, you don't want them visible to customers, even though I don't think it's a terrible thing. But a progress board is when people actually write down where they're progressing, where they feel like they're getting better. The cool thing is you can also leave a column where you get to write down where you have visualized a teammate progressing. Now that does not indicate we ignore constructive feedback or areas where people need to improve. When we are acknowledging progress, again, 76% of the time, 8 out of 10 people basically, we're at their most motivated state. When you have someone who's motivated or a team that's motivated, things will get better. Things will progress. Things will improve. So think about creating an activity board where people write down where they're progressing and maybe acknowledging a teammate where they have observed them progressing. Then that visual stimulation leads to what? The willingness to continue to progress.
