Millennials love learning and technology. Online courses and mentors are great ways to support their growth. Peer-to-peer coaching can also be beneficial, but it's important to frame the conversations positively. Overall, online learning, mentoring, and peer-to-peer coaching are effective strategies for Millennials. You know one of the greatest attributes of Millennials is they love to learn and then they also typically love technology. Remember, learning fuels the mind positively. It gets people thinking differently. So one of the great things that you can do is have online courses. LinkedIn has some great online courses. Udemy has some great online courses. You probably have a learning management system. And the second thing is set them up with a Millennial mentor. Somebody who hopefully has worked with Millennials, but somebody that can serve as a mentor to guide them inside the organization. Now, one of the great things you can do is also pair up Millennials in peer-to-peer coaching. You want to be careful because when you get people talking, they're going to go in one direction, positive or negative. They're not going to go in a neutral direction. It typically doesn't happen. And you want to frame out them working together in terms of share with your teammate what you're learning, what you're getting better at, how it's serving you well in your career, and you structure those conversations. Be careful. So again, online learning, mentoring, and peer-to-peer coaching.
