In this podcast episode, the hosts discuss some recent news in the sports world. They talk about Josh Giddey, an NBA player who got caught with a minor and speculate on the consequences he might face. They also discuss the recent game between the Kings and the Warriors, criticizing Klay Thompson's performance and suggesting that the Warriors' dynasty is over. They also talk about Draymond Green's emotional outbursts and the need for him to control his temper. They praise the Sacramento Kings' performance and potential and mention the possibility of Mark Cuban selling the Mavericks. They also touch on Luka Doncic's impressive performance and the struggles of the Buffalo Bills in the NFL. The hosts have mixed opinions on these topics and express their thoughts in a casual and sometimes humorous manner. All right, everybody. Welcome back to Episode 4 of the Raj Nation Experience Podcast. We are back in action. I got my returning guest here, Steve-O. Yo, yo, what's up? Welcome back to the Experience, man. Let's talk some sports. Let's do it. Episode 3 was crazy. Episode 4 is going to be more intense. We've got some exciting news happening in the sports world, like in the NBA, man. Getting off, man. Can you believe what Josh Giddy did? Josh Giddy. Fifteen, huh? Fifteen. Some people said it was 16, but what's the difference? It was still a minor. Unreal. What kind of Australian would want to put his dingo down under a minor? That's insane. He got caught at 4K, right? Yeah, he definitely did. I saw on my feed, on Instagram, a photo of Giddy and some teenage girl. I thought, what the heck? This guy got a girlfriend? I'm finding out she's a minor. I'm like, oh. I saw you was trending on Twitter. That's how I found out. Wow, man. The number one trending on Twitter, Josh Giddy. Wow, Josh Giddy, Josh Giggity, whatever you want to say is enough. I thought he was trending because of a poster or something. Nah. It's something else, man. He pulled a carmel on an NBA, man. That's sad. Yeah, bro. I just hope he didn't impregnate her, bro, because I don't know how they do it in Australia, but here in America, that's a red flag. Yeah, I mean, it's already a red flag. Yeah, it's a red flag everywhere. The NBA is investigating it. I don't think there's much to investigate. Yeah, because they're not going to do anything about it. Like, Miles Virgins is in the NBA. He hit a girl. Yeah. A lot of crazy stuff out there. I mean, they're still letting him play. At least he didn't rape a girl, but still. I want to see what happens after. Are they going to fine him? Are they going to suspend him? Is he going to be kicked out of the NBA? What's going to happen? I don't know. I know he lost an endorsement. He's going to lose like $40 million on an endorsement. We've got to keep an eye on that situation. We've got to keep an eye on that soon, folks. So, hopefully soon. We'll talk about that more. So, what else is happening in the league? Huge game between the Kings and the Warriors last night. Massive. Unbelievable comeback that the Kings pulled off. Wow. I think that the Warriors have a lot to figure out. I don't think they're what they used to be. I think that dynasty is done. I agree. Klay Thompson is showing himself. He is shooting poorly field goal-wise, three-pointer-wise. He's shooting under 30% for three. That is insane. I've never been a fan of Klay Thompson. You're going to tell me that he was upset that he didn't make the top 75 list. He is not a top 75 player in the NBA. He's not a top 100 player in the NBA. Probably top 150, 200. He's the third best player on his own team. You're going to tell me that he… Yeah, I want Curry and I want Green over Klay Thompson all day long. I feel like they made a huge mistake just bringing that whole core back together. I think they should trade Klay Thompson maybe in the deadline or in the offseason because if he keeps this up, he's on thin ice. Listen, Klay Thompson on another team is a nobody. He's a sixth man. Sixth man. He's a sixth man. That's even worse than not being top 75. He is nothing but a Duncan Robinson. That's all he is. And Duncan Robinson is doing a little more better than he is this season. That's all that Klay Thompson is. He's just catching shoe. He's not Reggie Miller-wise. He was a better catcher-shoe player than Reggie Miller because he at least was consistent at times. But Klay Thompson, he's struggling like crazy. Reggie Miller at least didn't get hurt once or twice a year. He actually played. He played against Jordan. He played against all those guys. He had to fight skin deep. Faced against Colby and Shaq in the finals and win. But I can't blame him. He also played for the Pacers. I also have a phone to pick with Draymond Green. I love Draymond Green and his physicality and the way he plays. I'm all about that style of basketball. You cannot, cannot, cannot be giving up technical fouls late in games. You can't be doing it. He gave the Kings two shots at the line and almost got teed up a second time. He cannot maintain his emotions. He has to stop. He has to stop, whether it's with a player, whether it's with a referee. It's always something with Draymond Green. And it has to stop. I tell you that because guys, he's running thin ice. If he chokes somebody else, the NBA, they've got to give him more of a five-inch suspension. They already gave him five, which is the biggest suspension they've handed out for something like that. Yeah. The mouse with the power is also way more than that. It keeps happening. It keeps happening. Draymond, they can't let this slide anymore with Draymond anymore. It's like, hey, look, man. You do this one more time or even more than five games, we're going to give you a pay cut. I don't know. I'm not sure. You can't be giving up, especially in a game like that where the Kings are trying to come from behind. You cannot give them more fuel and give them more easy buckets. You put Aaron Fox at the line. He struggled at the line yesterday, but he's still going to knock down one of the two at least. He's not going to go for two at the line. Oh, Aaron Fox. He's Mr. Clutch. He's the Clutch Player of the Year last season. He had 29 last night. Yeah. He's going to be an all-star again this year. Maybe it's a bonus. I love what the Kings got going on with that team. I love it. I really do. Malik Monk with the game-winner yesterday. Crafty can find a shot from anywhere on the court. He's a potential six-man of the year. I love what that team's got going on. They're a young group. Yes, they are. I appreciate what Mike Brown is doing with them. He completely changed that. Tremendous coach. They finally went back to the playoffs after like 18, 17 years of trial and not making it. They're no longer a poverty franchise. They're on the map. They're on the map. If they keep this up, they're going to be contenders soon. We just need to get one more piece, at least blend one with the offense. We just need to get a guy who's more on defense. That's what they struggled with last season with the defense. They were a good offensive team. Defensively, it was kind of so-and-so. The thing I like about them is that they seem to rise up to the occasion when they're playing against a good team. They play up to the expectations every single time. They've got a lot to prove. They don't come out flat. They light the beam. They're going to light that beam so hard. They're going to beam all the way to North Korea. They're going to break. Kim Jong-un is going to be pissed off when he sees that beam from Sacramento. Like, I want that beam. Light the beam. We're going to use that beam and put it on the missile. Crazy. Exciting stuff in Sacramento. Another thing I'm hearing is Mark Cuban. He's going to sell the Mavericks. I've seen that. $3.5 billion. He wants to stay, though, as the president of basketball for them. He doesn't want to leave the team. He better not leave. He said one time he'd rather trade his wife and keep Luka. I believe it. I believe it. I believe it. He loves them European players, huh? Yeah, man. Dirk Nowitzki. Luka. He had Porzingis. It didn't work out. He loves the Europeans. Europeans are good. They're benefiting the NBA. Look at them. Can't blame them. More all-stars. More European all-stars. I think Luka dropped like 40 last night. Yeah, 41 points. 41. Man, he better win MVP. The Mavericks need to be consistently. That's the thing. They got to surround them with better players. Tim Hardaway Jr. is not cutting it. No. He's doing good, but I think he's struggling. He's got to get some consistent pieces, good defensive players. 100%. They went and got Kyrie. I don't think it was the right fit. I don't know. I'm not sold on Kyrie. I don't think that Kyrie on any team is really a good fit. Yeah. Especially when he needs the ball in his hands at all times. Then you got Luka, who drops 40 a night. Where's the ball going to go? Every ball-dominant player needs the ball. Look at James Harden. Yeah. He just sucks. Wasn't that a shit show when he went to the Clippers? He destroyed them. They lost the first six games after he went there. He did knock down a four-point play, though, to win the only— his first win in the Clippers. Yeah, that one good game makes no sense. He completely disrupted the chemistry there. They were doing great without him. If I were Steve Ballmer, I'd be pissed off and just train him again. That guy's a clown, though, bro. That guy's a clown. Ballmer, he's a clown. Yeah, man. Every time I hear that guy speak, he says something so stupid. He's always too happy. He's always— He's on cocaine. He is on cocaine. He's there on the sidelines sitting down when he sees a huge play. He's on Adderall, cocaine. I'm not sure what he's on. He's too hyper. He's too hyper, man. He's a clown. I don't know what's up. Whatever he drinks in his coffee, he's probably putting, like, LSD in it. He does have more money than, like, every other owner. He did work for Microsoft. Yeah, he's, like, the richest owner in basketball. That's for sure. I'd be rich if I worked for them. What else, man? The in-season tournament. That was the four— Breaking news. Going to the NFL. Aaron Rodgers cleared for practice. Cleared for practice, he's saying. Finally. They opened the 21-day window for practice. Now, why would you even start him? I don't think it's a good idea. Why would you even start him? You're not making the playoffs. Yo. Listen, Buffalo is sitting at 6-6, and they're not going to make the playoffs. Yeah, they struggled. They lost to the Eagles last night. What is going on? Josh Allen is 0-5 on a rule that they wanted to be benefitted for him, and he can't even win in overtime anymore. 100%. I agree. That narrative around Josh Allen. I, personally, I'm a Josh Allen fan, so I'm a little biased when it comes to that. But he's got to get it done in overtime. I understand, obviously, the 0-5, sometimes he didn't even touch the football in overtime. So, I think it's a little unfair to use that narrative, but also— But the one game that he did play in overtime, that's no excuse. They blew that game. No, and listen, I think he had Gabe Davis for that touchdown at the end of the game. I don't know if you were watching, but he put a ball that was just beautiful to win the game. All Gabe Davis has to do is just find the ball, catch it, and they win the game. But all of a sudden, Gabe Davis takes a hard left while the ball's in the air and lets the ball just float into the end zone. He was wide open. He was wide open. There's zero reason why he has to break left on that route. Yeah, but Jalen Hurts, that last play, I don't know how Kelsey did that. Listen, there is zero chance anyone else wins MVP. Forget it. Jalen Hurts could not play another game this year. He's winning that MVP. That guy this year, he's unreal. It could be between him or Christian McCaffrey. He's unreal. I would give an honorable mention to CJ Stroud, the way he's come on this year. But he's going to win the rookie of the year. We know that. Yes, he's going to be first ballot. He's going to be the rookie of the year. First ballot every time. So, I think that you're fine with giving him the rookie of the year. Jalen Hurts, he definitely deserves that. He does. I also heard that linebacker Shaquille Leonard is visiting with the Cowboys. Yeah, he's meeting with the Cowboys. Yeah, he got waved by the Colts. That's a bad move. I think it's a great move on Jerry Jones' part to bring him in. That'd be cool. If he was able to do that. Because losing Vander Esch early in the year, that was a big, big blow for them. It would be more crazy if it was either the Eagles or the Niners. Who would you prefer he would go to? 100%. If you're the Cowboys, you want to lock him up and make sure he doesn't go anywhere else. The Niners, they got this guy from the Commander's Rose last year. Chase Young. Chase Young dragged him in. They already got him. If they were to get him, that's even more frustrating. Yeah, I don't even know. I actually think that the 49ers can beat the Eagles this week. I think they can. I think so. It all depends on Brock Purdy if he doesn't screw up. Yeah, I think if Brock Purdy plays a full four quarters, they've got something for him. I just don't see... Yeah, the Eagles, Jalen Hurts have been playing good. But at the end of the day, they've had two tight games the last two weeks against what they say is a struggling Buffalo team. Obviously, we know they've got firepower and they can beat anyone any given Sunday. But you're at home, too. You should not have to come from behind to win that game. Yeah, AJ Brown, he struggled that game against the Bills. I think he did get a touchdown. Yeah, they had him clamped up. I think he did get a touchdown. That's where they become deadly because they've got Devontae Smith that can free up. If you want to double AJ Brown, Smith's going to kill you. If you double both of them and you don't stack the box, DeAndre Swift and Jalen Hurts are going to run all over you. It's like what the Dolphins with Tyreek and Jalen Hurts. They're like a five-headed monster. They just have talent all over the place. And then you bring in the fact that you've got a dual-threat quarterback who can run the football like a running back. He's like Michael Vick, but way better. Yeah. Dude, he's a good passer. Those design runs that he makes up the middle, you add the push-push element into it where they're at the three-yard line. They can push it in. That's an unbreakable play right there. There's a lot of Kelsey on there in that play. But Kelsey also did have two false starts at the beginning of that drive. He almost cost him the game. He had to go take a shit. You saw that? He left the game after that. I thought that maybe he got in a fight with someone. No, he went into the locker room. He had to take a shit. He said it after the game. That's hilarious. Imagine that. He pulled up all tears. He had to go shit right before overtime. If that was Travis Kelsey, we'd be eating him alive. Listen, we're not talking enough about that kick. I knocked down a 59-yarder in the rain. Jake Elliott. He saved Eve. I should have started him. Listen, I thought there was zero chance that one went in. Obviously, I'm a Josh Allen fan, big Buffalo fan, so that one sucked to see it go in. But this guy's boot in the Hall of Fame. That is not an easy kick. There's pressure. You're in horrible conditions. Everything has to be so perfect for that kick to go in. Making a 59-yarder in a dome is hard. It's more challenging to do it in snow. If you're doing it in Buffalo, in the snow. 100%. You don't really have good footing in the snow. When it's wet, yeah, you still got your cleats. They dig up into the ground. As long as a placeholder can get a grip on the football and put the laces facing out, you should be all right. But in the snow, you got to literally move out the snow to be able to put the ball down. You got to call a timeout. You got to dig out the snow. It starts freezing. The Patriots did that against the Dolphins one time in New England. They brought out the snow. They brought out a bulldozer to get rid of all the snow so that the kicker could kick. That Raiders coach will probably love to talk about that with his grandkids. I remember that time when the Patriots beat the Dolphins out in the snow. That's insane. This week, I'm expecting better things. The other thing I want to talk about is Zach LaVine. They got to break that team up. They're going to break up the Bulls. They have to break it up. I would get rid of everyone. If I'm the Rosen and you know that they're going to get rid of LaVine, why am I going to stay? I'm going to. It's the same with Toronto. That team is disappointing me so much. I'm out of there. Yeah. I mean, you get rid of Van Vliet, what do you expect? That's the only guy that did anything for – I mean, Shaquem's good. Shaquem's good, but he's not a number one. You got to like Barnes, too. Barnes is great, but Darko is not putting his potential to the test. He's like, I think, against the Nets, he just made him like a screener and a shooter. Like that's not Scottie Barnes. He has the potential to be like a superstar with the team, but he's not seeing that in his vision. Like he's giving the ball to Pascal. That guy's not a first option. He plays good against a mediocre team. When it comes to like playoff teams. He's a little weak down there in the paint. Yeah, he has no strength. He's a little weak. He can't shoot. He needs to be consistent. But I feel like they should trade Shaquem. Oh, quick question. Who was it that told these 7'2 centers that they can shoot the three ball? Who told them? What coach? What coach at what level? I have seen more centers take three-pointers than ever before. And half of them cannot. They're evolving their game. They cannot. They really can't. They might make one out of eight. I mean, like Brooke Lopez at one point, he used to be like a traditional bank, but over time he like developed a three, and now he can actually hit a three. Like MB decided that he can now hit a couple threes, so now he's just going to take threes from everywhere. Why? I don't know. Why? I guess he's not as big of a coach now. You are 7'2". Why? But look at Chad. Chad Holgrim and Wemba Nyong'o, they're also shooting threes. Holgrim's doing better. You can tell they're just a different build. They're lankier guys. They might be evolving the game of big men, because now like big men got to shoot now. Everybody's got to be a shooter now. If you can't shoot the ball, you're basically worthless. I guess I'm more old school when it comes to that. I still love like the Shaquille O'Neal type of centers. But we still got guys like Nicola Yo, who can still at least bring that tradition alive. He's so good. Yeah, he can still shoot the threes. He's a Serbian Magic Johnson out there. He knocks down the threes. He can pass. He's like a mix of Magic Johnson. He's got like a triple-double at the half. I look at his stat line at the half. He's got like 15, 10, and 11. His skill set is like Magic Johnson. Old man game like Larry Bird. One of the triple-doubles like Will Chamberlain. He's got more triple-doubles than any center in NBA history. He's going to be breaking records. He's going to be one of the greatest centers of all time. The Nuggets just have to be more consistent. I know he didn't play last game against the Clippers, and they beat them because Reggie Jackson scored 35-13. Yeah. That's insane. And DeAndre Jordan apparently found a fountain of youth. He also played pretty good. I don't know about the Nuggets this year, though. I think it's the fact that Jamal Murray hasn't played in a while. Yeah, he hasn't played in a month, and that's costing them. They're like 11 and I think 12 and 6. But that dominance that they used to have, I don't know if it's going to be there when he comes back. There's no reason why it shouldn't, but I don't know. I've seen obviously a slow start is not a good sign. Yeah, because the Bents, right now, they have a terrible bench. They're not really producing much, aside from Kristen Braun, but I think he's still kind of struggling a little bit on that because he's in his second year. He can't really have a huge uprise to benefit the Nuggets, but I think they need an upgrade on the bench. I think as long as you have Jokic playing, you've got a chance to win any game. Yeah, but they also got to get more breaks for the starters because I feel like they're overplaying them a little too much. Well, that's the thing because you fall in love with the amount of playing time that you can get from Jokic because that's just him. Jokic could probably play all 48 minutes every single game. He doesn't get hurt. This guy just doesn't get hurt. He's just one of those guys who's out there. But then you fall in love with that and you think that everyone else could do the same and you want to have them on the floor at the same time. You want to have Murray and Jokic on the floor at the same time. So now you overwork Murray and now this is what you got. I feel like... He's a little different. He also wants to play Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon, but Michael Porter Jr. is not like... I feel like he shoots the ball too much. He's more of a role player, but yeah, I agree. He is like a pistol. He just shoots everyone. Yeah, see, the possession ends with him. That's the reason. I think they should trade him. Even though he is good, but... I feel like he's a little too, like, too jubby with the ball. Yeah, trigger happy. He shoots it too much. I had that problem with Kendrick Nunn when he was on the Heat. All that guy did was shoot. Remember that guy? If the ball finds Kendrick Nunn's hands, it's going up. It's going up. He's shooting. He's a shooter. He could be a contestant. No, he could be like 0 for 12, but a shooter gotta shoot. That's why he's on the NBA anymore. He went to the Lakers and now he's nowhere, right? He's probably playing somewhere overseas, China. Last I heard he was on the Lakers. He might still be there. I don't know if he's going to ever be here. I have no idea. I mean, he was in the G League when the Heat brought him up. But, yeah, like, I think for the NBA, like, if they do a trade deadline, I feel like something's going to be going in and out. Maybe whoever gets Levine, like, whoever benefits him, maybe the Kings get him. Maybe Toronto gets him. I hope maybe Toronto gets him, but who will they give up? Because they don't really have who they want to give up for. I know. Because they don't want... They don't want N-0 because he brings defense for Chicago. But besides being a little picky, he, like, overvalues all these players. He has this plan for the team, but it's not working in his favor because they're struggling. Yeah, I feel that. They have no identity. I don't think they're going to make the playoffs this year. I feel that with my Heat, too. I feel like they fall in love with the group of guys that they have sometimes. And they think that they have, like, the best players in the league. And then when it comes time to trade, it's like that Lillard trade should happen for the Heat. Should happen and they blew it. Should happen. They had Bensit right there. You can't fall in love with Tyler Hero. You can't. No. Because where is he right now? He's injured. He's not playing. He's sitting on the bench on my fantasy team. The same way he was injured last year with his little bucket hat on the sideline. I don't want him. I don't want him. It's not that I don't want him because when he plays, he's a great scorer. No. But I want someone else. I want Lillard. Look at what Lillard did to them last night. He dropped 30 something. It's a bucket. They had that chance and they blew it. They got too comfortable. They couldn't get him beat either because I think he's doing good in Philly. Like, they got too comfortable. And then he goes to, like, your biggest rival over the last two to three years. Like, you've had this battle with the Bucks at the playoffs every year. Now you're going to have to deal with him. Yeah. And guess what? Hero's not going to be on the court when it's time to go. And Bam's not going to be able to stop Giannis. I mean, he could try. I'm the biggest Bam fan. And I can't believe the way he's playing this year. He's playing out of his mind. He's the best player on the court. That's good. Well, how will that affect him in the playoffs? Will he be able to do that in the playoffs? Yeah, 100%. That's where the problem's been. He has been able to rise to the occasion, obviously, making it to a couple of finals in the last, what, five years. And they do make deep runs in the playoffs. I don't think that when they lose a playoff series, you go, Bam, what's the problem? Like, it's the whole team. Like, Jimmy can't do it all. I feel like Jimmy sometimes gets cold feet when it comes to the playoffs. Yeah, because they call him playoff Jimmy, but he disappoints sometimes. Yeah, he'll knock down an acrobatic shot there towards the end. Remember that one series in Milwaukee, he averaged like 37 points. Yeah, we got swept. Didn't we get swept against Milwaukee like two years ago? No, I'm talking about last season, 2023. Oh, yeah. We smoked them. We smoked them. Yeah. But then, like, in the finals against Denver, he, like, disappeared. The finals was just a horrible matchup for us in every which way possible. I don't think – like, we got out-skilled at every position. Yeah, Denver was the key to win. I knew they were going to win because, like, come on. Aaron Gordon? Aaron Gordon was the guy that really stepped up for real? Yeah. Apparently. The Wolves was going to do it. He killed us. He killed us. There was no one to guard him. No, not even like – They put Jimmy on him, man. Nothing. Even when, like, Bruce Brown, game four, like, he closed out that one crazy game. He was bodied. Denver could really use it right now because they have no defense on the bench. Yeah. So, unless, like, they do trades to Nuggets, like, maybe they'll be able to do another deep run in the playoffs. Yeah. And they also have to get more reps from the bench. And for Porter to, like, not be so trigger-heavy with the ball. And also Aaron Gordon to be more aggressive in the paint because so far he's been struggling with his shooting. Yeah. He did miss a game, obviously, but still. They got to figure that stuff out before it, like, blows up and we see a new champion this year. Right. So, what else? What else can we talk about? College basketball, what's happening over there? Yeah, the ACC SEC Challenge is going on now. I believe they're tied 2-2. Tied 2-2, huh? Did you hear about FAU winning that invitational event in Orlando? Yeah, yeah. Good stuff for them. Probably putting noise on the map. That was a good thing. I didn't think they were going to win. They have to after last year's run. You got to follow it up with something. Yeah, they got to start another ranked 13th in the top 25. There it is. So, they got to make more noise. I want to see more of that team. Disappointed with my Hurricanes last night. Dropping that game to Kentucky by double digits. Double digits. That's rough. I don't know. And they were actually doing really good in the first half. They got on a big run, almost to close out the half, but they let Kentucky get back in it right before the half. They went into the half losing by five points. And then Kentucky just went on like a 12-3 run to start the third. To start the second half. Yeah. So, what else happened? What else happened in the NFL? I want to talk about Thanksgiving and stuff. What happened on Thanksgiving in the NFL? The Lions lose again. The Lions lost. They can't win on Thanksgiving for some reason. I know the Cowboys murdered the commanders. Yeah. Dak Prescott bringing out the turkey leg. Yeah. The Dolphins murdered the Jets on Black Friday. That was 99 yard pick six. I saw that interception like there's no way. Yeah. And look what he does. Just fun stuff. College football. Michigan, Ohio State. Man, Michigan. Physical. Physical team. I like that. That was insane. Yeah. No, that was a good game. Very good game. That was a good game. I should have watched that. I got to watch more college football from now on. College football is awesome. Now is the time. Now is the time. If you're trying to get into some college football, now is the time. You've got your conference championships. You've got bowl games coming up. Your college football playoffs. A lot of exciting stuff. What do you got? What do you got? Michigan. Michigan against Georgia in the national championship. And then you can flip a coin. All right, bro. That's crazy. That's a lot of crazy stuff happening in the news today. Yep. All right, guys. So we kind of got to shut off now. Tune in for episode five coming soon. Maybe we'll see more allegations with Josh Giddey. We'll see if he doesn't reach somebody else. Got to keep an eye on that. Got to keep an eye on those updates. So this is Roger Sanchez-Hall. Steven, thank you for coming back. Yes, sir. Thanks for having me. Hopefully we have more of you soon. So, Loud fans, this is Roger Sanchez-Hall signing out. Stay tuned for episode five. There it is.
