Hello all you people, welcome to the Raj Nation Experience Podcast. My name is Roger Sanchez-Hall, I'll be the one hosting these things, so I'll just leave it here for now. This is basically my first time doing a podcast in a while, I'll mainly just be talking about my hobbies, basketball, video games, TV shows, but just for today I'm just going to be talking about basketball things. Right now I'm just going to do the first episode on my own, hopefully in the future I'll have more people, they'll have a guess, maybe I won't, but right now I'm just going to be doing this, so let's begin. So yesterday, I don't know if you guys saw, but I'm an NBA, I unfortunately missed last night's game, well I did see the Spurs and Thunder, you know, went by Nyamu and Holmgren taking off for the first time, didn't really go so well, but the second game, Nuggets, Clippers, that was a thriller, Clippers are now 0-6, I believe, or 0-5 with James Harden, that was a huge shame, like really a huge shame, like this guy, you know, I think the Clippers made a huge mistake trying to get Harden, they did not need him, you know, Steve Ballmer completely fumbled that, literally, because they had Westbrook, they had a good team, they were doing good before the trade, and with them they lost like, that was a streak, you know, just inexcusable, this Harden claims that he's, you know, quote unquote, the system, but this guy, he's costing his team games, they botched it, well, at least with last night's game, they at least lost by 3, but, you know, things could have been different, but either way, they're on a losing streak, I don't think, you know, them getting Harden was beneficiary for the team, you know, Harden really needs to understand that he's not that anymore, he can't, you know, move like he did when he was with Houston in his prime, you know, for that, that hands-free injury that he got when he was with the Nets in 2021, that may or may not have been, like, you know, the last straw, like, that completely messed him up, his movement, the way he was able to move with the ball, you know, blown by defenders, but the ball, like, he can't do that anymore, and that is concerning, but yeah, you know, Denver, they did their thing, they're still without Murray for the November, you know, Yokozuna's thing, but he still needs to get more from his supporting cast, aside from just the starting lineup, you know, Jackson, who's replacing Murray in the lineup, and Braun, Colwell, Paul, you know, Gordon, and Porter Jr., Michael Porter Jr., like, he, you know, he's gotta be a little more smart with the ball and not just chuck it up, you know, all the time, you know, he's gotta cut to the paint, you know, make some plays, attack more, shoot more midrange, more postjumpers, but they gotta contribute more to Jokic while they're at it, while their record is great so far, like, they're 9-2 at the moment, but, you know, if they're gonna repeat as champions, they gotta do more for Nikola, because he can't do it all, it'll just be like a repeat of, like, 2021, 2022, like, he was doing everything, he had to do everything on his own, like, his teammates were really doing much for him, you know, he was, he had to do all the scoring, the rebounding, like, he had to make all those plays, and it was tough for him, because he didn't have, you know, Murray, like, he did have Gordon, I think also in those times, he was also injured, and this time, now, with, you know, with just Murray gone, you know, the point guards, the whole team's gotta contribute more to the bench, he's struggling to score, you know, I think, you know, Nekotor, the GM, he has to make some trades, might as well get some scoring off the bench, at least, like, a scorer, maybe just go for Bogdanovich, either from the Hawks Bogdanovich, or the Pistons Bogdanovich, maybe get, like, a decent, you know, two-way wing defender, at least someone that can score off the bench, like, at least be, like, not just a veteran, but at least something, for now, just so far, the bench has been lackluster, other than Christian Braun, who has been a light spot, like, obviously, he's in his second year, he's been up a heavier workload than he had his rookie year, but obviously, he's not gonna be, like, the whole, like, whole answer, like, he's part of the answer, but he's not the entire answer, but yeah, Clippers are doing bad, Nuggets, better do their thing, you know, they're huge, it's a huge, you know, competition in the West, what's more importantly, what happened last night, between the Terrells and the Warriors, wow, like, I missed that game, that wasn't broadcast, I wish it was, actually, I've been on TNT, and not, you know, OKC and San Antonio, but, you know, whatever, but reading the beginning of the game, I saw a clip, you know, honestly, later in the morning, when I woke up at two in the morning, I was seeing, like, Gold Bearer being choked, my dream on green, and I'm here, like, what did I miss, how did this happen, like, and I see, it was, like, in the beginning of the game, like, a minute and a half in the game, you know, Edwards misses a three-pointer on top of the key, and then I see, like, McDaniels and Thompson, like, going at each other, like, what is that, like, whoa, OK, they're gonna get ejected, and, you know, Gold Bearer comes in, he tries to break it up, Draymond just, oh, goes right there for Rudy, and just puts him on a choker, like, it was, like, WWE stuff, like, what is this guy doing, what is this guy doing, this guy, I know Draymond, he's a good player, I know he's mature, but I feel like, for the past several years, he has lost his composure, like, he's always on something, like, I don't think it's CTE, it's not, like, Antonio Brown-esque CTE, because, you know, that is a whole other story, but, like, the thing that Draymond did, like, it's, come on, bro, like, calm down, he did not have to do that, I feel like he escalated a little too hard, like, it's a good thing that Rudy, like, is alive and well, like, I know the whole NBA community hates his guts, you know, dating back to, like, what, 2020, the whole COVID stuff, like, oh, he's spread his germs, like, I know he's not, like, he's a solid center, but, obviously, he's not, like, elite, elite, according to the fans, but that was insane, what he did there, Draymond, like, gotta calm down, man, like, I don't know what's up with him, like, he's going crazy with foul calls, you know, like, he punched Poole last season and off-season, training camp, then, in the 2023 playoffs, like, he, like, stomps on the muscles of his, like, chest, almost put him, like, in cardiac arrest, like, almost put this guy, like, like, that could have happened, something could have happened to him, but this right here, like, it's crazy, you know, he went from the nut, the nut kicker, nut cracker, the nut kicker, nut cracker, now he's doing this, like, obviously, he's gonna get suspended by the league, I don't know how many games, still probably getting, like, a five-game suspension, so far, it's, like, 10, but that was insane, like, they gotta do something about that, I know all the old heads, they like that kind of stuff, they, like, people think he got murdered on TV for some reason, it's, like, I know the league is soft, I know back in the days, like, you know, with the hand checking and all that stuff, with the defense, you know, the bad boy pistons, like, throwing hands on everybody, putting guys on clotheslines, but, like, I know they want physicality, but I don't think it should be at the risk of people's lives, it is insane, like, people do miss the olden days, but come on, you can't, certain things you can't do, like, you're not gonna, like, I don't think killing somebody on the court on live TV is considered, like, bringing the NBA back, you know, I think it is ridiculous that, like, yeah, the league is soft, you know, the referees, they, I don't know what's up with them, but they're being very emotional, about some emotional lesbians, you know, I know I said it right there, I don't want to offend somebody out there, but I don't care, it's the truth, you're in the NBA, you see those referees, like, you know what I'm gonna say, like, nobody likes the refs, I know they're not perfect, they make very, like, insane calls, but, you know, those refs gotta get in control, but we're going with the, you know, physicality, and, like, all that stuff is, has to be to an extent that you don't put people at risk, you don't try to kill somebody on the court, this isn't, like, like, it's like how in prison, like, that's different, obviously, not saying the NBA is different, obviously, not saying the NBA is prison ball, I hope not, but I don't think, you know, trying to kill somebody on the court over a scuffle, like, that's not really worth it, like, it could have been worse, next thing you know, there's gonna be guys in, like, like, a janky hitbox move, like in Smash, or, like, in Street Fighter, like, you know, they go crazy, or, you know, you do some kind of Cobra Kai stuff on a guy, you, you put him in a coma, you know, but there has been weirder stuff out there, you know, in other sports, but here in the NBA, like, they want to see, like, MMA, USC, they want to see people doing, like, karate stuff, I don't know, but it's insane, but, man, I missed out on last night, those games, I hate missing games, because then I see, like, that type of stuff happening, I see it on social media the following day, I'm like, but I miss out, I miss this game, like, if I had, like, League Pass, if I had, like, those TVs, you play more than one game, like, I would be, like, straight on, like, I put the volume up, straight on, like, I put the volume up, I see something, like, okay, I'm muting the rest, actually, no, not mute the rest, I'll just lower the volume and see that thing right there, and I want to see it, like, that is crazy, but I can't believe I missed another crazy fight like that, like, I already missed out on other fights, I have, like, years past, like, with the Nixon brawl, the Robinson Jr. Smith thing, that was also crazy, Miles at the Palace, that thing is almost 20 years old, it's been, like, 19 years so far, and that was, that's what the NBA is trying to avoid, but I want to be surprised if it actually does end up happening again, because, you know, fans have gotten way too comfortable again, past few years, like, fans are getting very chill with the players, like, you're there to watch the games, I know, like, you're taking the dose, hating them, but what are you gonna do, what are you gonna do to these NBA players, you're not gonna do anything, like, they're taller than you, less like than you, stronger than you, one punch out of them, you'll end up, like, you're gonna get killed, maybe not so much kill, maybe not so much kill, but, like, you're gonna end up with a black eye, you'll probably get hurt, football players, like, don't want to mess with a football player, because those guys are jacked, MMA, UFC, any athlete, don't mess with any athlete at all, with massive testosterone, you do not want to mess with that, I, for one, don't want to do that, because I want to live, I don't want to be in a coma, I know my restraints, my limits, not to mess with somebody who's more skilled and physical than me, but I wouldn't do that at all, so, so that's, that's basically that, like, so hopefully episode two will be different, maybe I'll have a guest, maybe I won't, but, you know, you know, we'll probably see more basketball stuff, maybe we'll see something else related to basketball, you know, 2k, that's basketball, that's in gaming, but I think just for the time being, I'll just, we'll be sticking to basketball, like, actual basketball, basketball, and not just, like, something else, maybe if I do more of this, you know,
