Drew DeHoliday a consistent defender a veteran who could potentially be an OG in the locker room for Scoot Henderson who's coming in to be the star of the team even even even better so now you can build a team around Scoot and DeAndre DeAndre then it's a great then it's a great trade for Milwaukee because they didn't even give up Chris Middleton and Chris Middleton ain't moving DeAndre DeHoliday didn't move DeAndre DeHoliday didn't move DeAndre DeHoliday didn't move DeAndre DeHoliday didn't move What it came down to is, what is the most we can get back on a trade? Even if J. Rue DeHoliday does not play for them, they know that is a piece that they can move. If DeAndre Ayton comes... That's his name. With DeAndre Ayton, even if he's not as good as you would like him to be, he is still, again, either a usable piece or a tradable piece. What were the Miami Heat offering? Kyle Ahiro and Kyle Lowry. Nobody wanted that. Y'all don't want that. Did that help y'all in the playoffs? Neither of them helped y'all in the playoffs. What? I'm going to tell you again, that we won't quit on you, Kyle. See, the NBA is so unpredictable because you have situations where, like, the season starts and guys you didn't think were available suddenly become available. Like, nobody thought that... You got to look at the Phoenix Suns of it all in this situation, because I feel like they are escaping accountability. How they have just completely botched everything in that organization, but, like, nobody expected them to be able to get Kevin Durant. Like, so things like that are going to happen in the NBA, so it's hard to predict what is going to happen in the East. We know that James Harden is actively trying to fat suit his way out of Philadelphia. So, we don't know... I can't just count my chickens on the books. And get in the bus, and furthermore, before we get carried away, didn't them boys get put out in the first round? I'm just saying, they got put out in the first round. Didn't them boys get put out in the first round? And that is a problem. But, who was coming up with the score? I mean, we've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. We've got to stick with the decision that we're about to make. How much better are the Bucks today with Damian Lillard versus Drew Holiday? They're better offensively, but they're definitely a lot better offensively. And, we've got to really question, what is Chris Middleton right now? Because that's who they were relying on on that finals run. But, last year, they couldn't rely on Chris Middleton. The Phoenix Suns, they're clearly worse today than they were yesterday. I feel like we're disrespecting DeAndre. DeAndre, would you rather have Yousef Nurkic over DeAndre Aydin right now? Okay. Because it's the same DeAndre Aydin that played center for the team when they went to the finals. That's because don't nobody want Chris Paul talking to them like he ain't daddy. He was there. He was hurt. But, he was like, I know. Exactly. It's one thing when your daddy's trying to discipline you. It's another thing when you know you can beat your daddy up. That's the issue with Chris Paul. He coming in here like, son, this is going to hurt me a lot more than it's going to hurt you. And, then you end up slapping your daddy around. Now, he got to explain to his wife why you the one eating the big piece of chicken. Like, that's what Chris Paul does. Chris Paul got to get traded. Or cut. Or something. Is he still there? Oh, good. Good. Oh, yeah. This is my subtraction. I forgot about that. Good. The Suns sound good. No Chris Paul? No Chris Paul? Absolutely. But, that's what he thought he was getting. I'm confused. Max, what did James R. and Nick say at this point in his career? Like, what are we talking about? That's what James R. and Lil' King have done. All I know is shit. I don't, I don't know about that. Wow. Wow. You know what he sound like? He sound like somebody who, he sound like a woman that got a man that work a lot who said things like, I never let my man just be out all night. And, then after her man done been out all night for several years, then she come back and be like, y'all don't need to judge my relationship and what I do. Like, Damian Lillard was talking too much and he didn't know what he was talking about. How about you be quiet and watch what's happening in the league? And, today's NBA, it is more about the individual than it is the team. And, that is the way that the league has shifted. Damian Lillard was speaking out of school because he did not have the leverage to make the moves that he was envious of. And, he still didn't have that leverage because Damian Lillard, quiet as cat, wanted to go to Miami. But, because he don't have that leverage because he's Damian Lillard and not a top tier star, you go where we tell you to go. Go to Milwaukee. And, see they ain't have the pieces. Unless Pascal Siakam was in that deal, I wasn't even talking to Toronto. Oh, it's still football season. We ain't even in basketball season. What? What? What? Can I table this conversation for the next segment about the... Okay, I don't want to talk about the Broncos of it all. I just want to talk about the Dolphins of it all. I don't think anything that the Dolphins is doing is shocking. Because, I think everyone who watches football and really watched the games knows that the biggest issue with the Dolphins last year was health of their quarterback. Tua was an MVP candidate before he caught that concussion on TV and then came back and caught that other concussion on TV. Like, we all saw that. And so, I think this is what I would expect if I'm a Dolphins fan. My biggest question would be, what are we going to do to make sure that this is sustainable throughout the rest of the season and not get our quarterback jeopardized? I think Tua is... He needs more respect in his ability as a quarterback, but I think we also have to be cautious about the injuries. He has been out there. He has had time to go to ball with us this month. So, it's not the off-season that he's going to be as good as he used to. It's just how he's been so consistently well. So, if they can continue to block and hold up, we'll get through the first leg and he's going to get the ball out. He's going to get the ball out. This is why I wanted to table this discussion, though, because I want to point out a couple of things. Number one, Tua only threw for the first half of the season. He didn't throw for the second half of the season. He didn't throw for the third half of the season. He didn't throw for the fourth half of the season. He didn't throw for the fifth half of the season. He didn't throw for the sixth half of the season. He didn't throw for the eighth half of the season. He didn't throw for the ninth half of the season. He didn't throw for the tenth half of the season. He didn't throw for the twelfth half of the season. So, I want to point out a couple of things. Number one, Tua only threw for three more yards in that game than the clean sprite did. Also, I'm just telling you, I'm just saying, it's not like 23 for 26, which is good, 309 yards and four touchdowns. Yes, these are excellent stats, but also understand that this speaks more about the team they were playing against than it speaks to what they were doing. The offensive who I thought they were. I mean, I understand they're professional athletes, but I have questions about that best in the world stuff. Some of these boys are going to be on the XFL in the spring. Yeah, but what about the rest of them? Yeah. Yeah. You know who the see y'all. Yes, you know, the Denver Broncos last coach was with a winning record. Jerry Kubiak. You know how long ago that was? Yeah. They had coach. The Broncos had coach. Why did it? Here's my thing. Is this an inside job? Is this like, is he a spy? Is he a, is he, is he an undercover agent? Like I'm going to show you, you're going to find me as the head coach and bring me back into the defensive coordinator. Oh, I'm going to show you, I'm going to give up a hundred. Oh, y'all ain't going to let me give up a hundred. Cause y'all going to bring in Mike white. That's crazy. I was trying to give up a hundred. He was trying to give up a hundred. That's what he was trying to do. Mm. Okay. Oh my gosh. No. Okay. So I'm going to tell y'all why y'all and so much of social media is wrong about this. All right. So no, no. It's two, it's two pieces to this. Number one, Colin Kaepernick. I don't remember if that was last year or the year before was out here doing this miscellaneous workout. Um, yeah. It wasn't what the rate is. It was just with the, with the NFL. Yeah. Yeah. He's been trying to get back into the NFL the entire time. The lawsuit was about y'all were trying to intentionally keep me out of the NFL. And. Correct. Which is, and he didn't win the lawsuit. The NFL just settled because they didn't, they didn't want people investigating into the policies and practices of the NFL. Number one, Colin Kaepernick has made it very clear from the very beginning. He wanted to continue to play football. Number two, I think people are misreading this situation. First of all, he already got the money from the NFL. This is about a, I want to remind y'all that I'm still out here available to play football. And y'all got teams that have to put clean Sprite and how I met your mother out there at quarterback. I'm even willing to come and play for a practice squad. Y'all know I don't need the money. Y'all already gave me the money, but I'm still willing to play. What did he do to himself? When the last time I, when the last, when's the last time somebody talked about Colin Kaepernick? Oh my God. Oh my God. Yeah, please don't, please don't. Um, but when I'm, when I'm pointing out to you, Colin Kaepernick made the decision a long time ago that I care more about activism than I care about playing in the NFL. Okay. We have never seen him being out here. He's been, he's the face of the know your rights campaign. The know your rights campaign is still okay. The know your rights campaign. Oh, I said that. I said that wouldn't happen when he had the pink socks on. Sometimes you stumble into situations and realize, Oh, I didn't put my foot in my mouth. I got to keep going with this. Colin Kaepernick decided I'm going to just sit down. Let's go all the way back. I'm going to sit down during the national anthem. Why? I'm going to just sit down until we start doing right by black people. Okay. What does that look like for you? Colin? I don't know. And then somebody comes to you and says, you know, it'd be better. Instead of you just sitting down. Cause I feel like that's a little disrespectful. It's a little more respectful for you to take a knee. Cool. I'll take a knee. And then everybody made a big deal about the whole situation. And then America happened. And then it got blown even more into the, into the stratosphere. And so that is how the whole thing started. I do not. I said from the very beginning, I did not feel like Colin Kaepernick had any intention in the initial of being an activist above being an athlete. But once he got pot committed, then it shifted to, Oh, I got to keep taking his knee. And so then you can't go out there and start looking crazy. But here's the thing. Here's the thing. But, but Colin, you got to also know your strengths. Colin Kaepernick is not a public speaker. He has been doing what he has been doing is investing his money, investing his time behind the scenes. Cause I mean, I don't know the documentary says it. I can't prove it. You. Hey, Mario, I'm going to go to break on this. You sound like this. I need to see it. Why do you need to see it? If it's happening or it's not. And if it's not happening, then why somebody else ain't doing it? Somebody should be doing it. You doing it. Oh, well, we see him. Oh, well, we see him. And we always will. We see him is he is more of a person who is a speaker as a spokesperson. That is not Colin Kaepernick strength. Colin, one of the things that, yeah, one of the smartest things that I think people with money and influence can do is recognize their strength. If you are not a good public speaker to speak at an educated level about the facts of situations, you probably shouldn't be the person in front of the microphone. And that is one thing I can say about Colin Kaepernick. He recognizes by himself that he ain't the person in front of the mic. When the last time you seen a march? When the last time they were marching? When the last time you seen a march? When the last time they were marching? That he has decided at this point that he cares more about being an activist than being an athlete. You feel like you feel like he's not there yet. He's still like values being there. Because I feel like if he cared more about being an athlete than an activist, he would have said publicly, oh, yeah, I'm done with the whole kneeling thing. Like, I still support those causes. But if you care more about being on the NFL team. But he was he was talking faster than the movement was talking faster than the movement was even moving. By the time by the time somebody got a hold of him and told him to chill out, the damage had already been done. He had already worn the Castro shirt. He had already won the pig socks. Yeah, it was too late. It was like those are the reasons if we're talking about why the NFL took the steps to ultimately make decisions that resulted in them having to settle with him out of court. Those were the things that were happening. It wasn't just the kneeling. Like, I think people got to understand, like, when they talk about somebody being a distraction, he was as a 49ers friend, I can tell you, he was doing things that were distracting. No, not according to him, he was like they were. And that was also years after the fact. Here's the problem. I want y'all to understand that when Colin Kaepernick lost in the Super Bowl, that was Ray Lewis's last game. When the last time you heard from Ray Lewis, Ray Lewis now left, made the Hall of Fame. And we like, what are we talking about? He is that him being in the NFL was a long, long time ago. That workout that you're describing was like three or four years after him being out of the league. I don't know, I don't think his intention is to get, I think he still believes as an athlete, he still has the skill set to be an NFL player. I think a lot of the GMs and scouts would say, no, he doesn't. Because a lot of the GMs and scouts would say he didn't have it when he left. That was one of the arguments we had on this show. You said, you said on this show, Little John, that one of the problems was he ain't good enough to be a starting quarterback in the NFL. If we were questioning, if he was good enough to be a starting quarterback in the NFL years ago, why would anybody think he's good enough now? Yeah. So this is. And this is more about this is more about I thought my NFL career was over, but you know what? The Jets have nobody at quarterback. Maybe. Maybe I could go out here and play for the Jets. I don't know. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't. Don't.
