Here is a demonstration on how to use sticky notes on your Windows computer and one note on your Iphone to better make and keep track of your notes.
The transcription explains how to use Sticky Notes on a Windows computer and OneNote on an iPhone to synchronize notes. It provides step-by-step instructions on how to add a new note on the computer and Outlook, as well as how to view the notes on both devices. The transcription demonstrates how to add a new note on the iPhone and check if it appears on the computer. It concludes by emphasizing the productivity and usefulness of these features. Hello everyone, I'm going to show you how to use 60 notes on your Windows computer and one note on your iPhone. And what these two things do, they synchronize the notes into one place. In other words, 60 notes will have the notes from your phone and Windows computer there. And one note, again, will have the notes from your phone and computers on your phone. Pretty cool, huh? Okay, to get to Sticky Notes on your computer, you're going to hit the Windows key and type in Sticky Notes, which I'm going to do right now. Search box edit, S-T-I-C-K-Y, Sticky Notes app. Press right to switch, enter. Sticky Notes. Before going any further, I must emphasize that when you do open Sticky Notes on the computer, let it load all the way until you get to your list. And what I mean by list, you're going to get a list of your notes. So I'm going to arrow up and down so you can hear mine. Yellow note, last modified at knob 2. Opened on desktop. Yellow note, last modified at knob 6. Okay, so that is your list. So what you're going to do to add a new note is you're going to shift tab until you hear New Note. I'm going to shift tab. New Note button. Okay, so we got to the new notes. I'm going to go ahead and hit either my space bar or my enter key. Space. Sticky Notes. New note window open. Yellow note window. Note editor edit. Okay, now I'm going to go ahead and type in Test Note. Just to make sure that is correct, I'm going to go to insert tab to hear my notes. Yellow note window. Note editor edit. Test note. Type in text. Okay, so it says Test Note. So I'm going to go ahead and shift tab until I hit close note. Close note button. Okay, so we're here where it says close note. I'm going to hit enter. Enter. Sticky Notes. Notes list page. New note button. Note closed. And that should put my note into that list. Okay. So what we're going to do is I'm going to also show you another cool thing about Sticky Notes. You can actually add notes from your Outlook desktop app. Okay, so now I'm here in my Outlook application. And to do a note on the fly, which is real quick, just hit shift control N and a little box will pop up. Control shift N. Untitled-notes. Untitled-notes. Form region. Note text edit. Okay, now I want to put Test Note from email and we're going to see it pop up on the Sticky Notes. I'm going to go ahead and type that in. Test Note from email. Okay, so to exit and to save the note, all you got to do is hit escape. Okay, now I'm going to go back and open up Sticky Notes again and you're going to hear the list. Okay, so I'm back on my list on Sticky Notes. Remember, I initially put Test Note on Sticky Notes and I put Test Note from email from my email client, which is Outlook. So we're going to see if they do show. I'm going to arrow up. Yellow note. Last modified at 4.50 p.m. Test Note. Two of nine. Okay, that's the first note I put, so I'm going to see if it got the one from my email client, which is Outlook. Gray note. Last modified at 4.51 p.m. Test Note from email. One of nine. As you see, it added both notes, which is pretty cool. So now I'm going to transition to the iPhone and open up the OneNote on the phone and show you the rest. Okay, so I opened my OneNote app on my iPhone and I'm going to check to see the notes that I have put in through the computer. Now before I forget, there's tabs at the bottom of the app. You want to tap on the one that says Sticky Notes. Okay, so I'm going to go ahead and check my notes. Yellow Sticky Note. Test Note. Edited. Okay, you saw where it says Test Note. That's the one I put in on the computer. So I'm going to swipe again to see if we can see the one from the email. I'm going to swipe. Gray Sticky Note. Test Note from email. Edited. So you saw that one too. So we have both of those notes. Now mind you, this is my iPhone. Okay, so I'm going to do. I'm going to swipe to put a new note and then we're going to check the computer to show how it goes from the computer to the phone and vice versa. Okay, I'm going to go ahead and swipe until I get to New Note. I'm going to double tap. New Note. Sticky Note content. Text field. Word mode. Insertion point at start. So I'm going to just type in Test Phone to make it easy. Okay, so I'm just going to check if I got it correct. So I'm going to swipe to see if it says Test Phone. Sticky Note content. Text field. Test Phone. Word mode. Okay, you saw where it says Test Phone. Great. So I'm going to swipe until I hear Done. Done. Button. Okay, so now that note which I put Test Phone on my iPhone should be on the list of notes on my Sticky Notes which is on the computer. So let's go ahead and check. Okay, so we're back here on the computer. I'm here on the Sticky Notes on the Note list. So we're going to see that note I put on my phone which says Test Phone is here. So I'm going to arrow up and let's see if it is here. Yellow Note. Last modified at 6.43 p.m. Test Phone. 1 of 8. Yep, there it is. It says Test Note or Test Phone. So see how easy that is and hopefully this will be more productive to help you take notes and keep track of the notes also. All right, I hope this helps and we'll see you later.
