The transcription discusses a dictation command available on Windows 10 computers. It is a free and easy-to-use tool that can be helpful for individuals with disabilities or those who prefer speaking over typing. To use it, users simply press the Windows key and the letter H. The speaker, who is visually impaired, demonstrates how to use the command and mentions that it has an auto-correct feature. They also provide an example of how they used the command to write a sentence. Overall, they find it to be a useful and accurate tool. Okay folks, I'm going to tell you about this dictation command that comes within your Windows 10 computer. It's free, granted there are other more advanced software like Dragon Speech, but this one that you can use at home, easy to launch, useful for those who have maybe a dexterity or intellectual disability or like myself, just lazy, to be honest with you. So to use it, you hit the Windows key and the letter H. And I'm going to demonstrate that now. I am visually impaired and I use what's called a screen reader, which is JAWS, it talks to me. I open up Word. So I'm going to go ahead to Windows H command and see how it starts. Now you're going to hear a little sound that's telling me it's started. I'm going to say my phrase and I'm going to use punctuations and then I'm going to stop. Should stop within five seconds or not, you can use the term stop dictation. Okay, here we go. Windows H. Football season starts in six weeks and I'm excited! Hopefully the Cowboys will do better and go to the Super Bowl! Auto correct colon football F-O-O-T-B, enter. Stop dictation. Okay, you hear a little noise that told me I stopped and it also did auto correct. So obviously I think football was the word I was trying to fix. So let's go and see how this came out, okay? Football season starts in six weeks and I'm excited! Hopefully the Cowboys will do better and go to the Super Bowl! Okay, so what I'm going to do, I'm going to go ahead and move my cursor to the end of the first sentence to see if it put the exclamation mark, okay? Season starts in six weeks and I'm excited! Blame me! Exclaim! See, it put the exclamation mark. Pretty neat, huh? Like I said, those who have maybe a hard time spelling or maybe it might be easier just to say it than type it, you can go back and put in the little stuff you want to do, corrections here and there. But like I said, I've used it and it's pretty easy, pretty accurate once you get used to it. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
