Welcome back to Take A Share's Podcast, I'm your host Tony and today we'll be going through back what happened back in Wassa. Wassa guys, thank you to our sponsors and Bobo Bay, Little Tokyo, Asian Taste, Rifted Barber, and Fub Coma. Hello everyone, it's been a long three weeks or it's been two weeks since Wassa. I haven't made an episode about it since. I've been moving my stuff from my old apartment to my new apartment now and I just wasn't able to get my stuff ready. So, I kind of took my time to get all my old things, like even the PC, my monitor, my microphones, everything to my new apartment here now and kind of get ready and come back again. So, to kind of recap of what happened at Wassa. On day one, I heard everyone did well. I know day one is usually when you play, you make the bracket and come back for the next day, right? Coming in for day two, the Crusaders went up against Doomsday 16-6 and an amazing job for those guys. I wasn't there. During that week, I was there for my brother-in-law's key day and he just got married. So, congrats to him. But back to the game, after beating Doomsday, we move on against Tier 1, which we faced back in Shibuya again to beat them and able to move on to the finals in Shibuya again. After that, we lost to Tier 1, 30-8. I believe in that game, it's just that Tier 1 was more hungrier and that they were more prepped against us, not us, my bad, for that game. I met up with Coach. We're at a bar drinking with Pond for his birthday and I kind of asked him a few questions about what happened that day and why some guys wanted to play with some new teams for Labor Day. He kind of gave me the idea, or not the idea, just kind of his perspective of how the team feels. I totally understand on everyone's side their part. When you want to win games and you know that you are the best team and that you are the best player to make this team better. I totally understand that because everyone has a job. Everyone has their own set of ideas and motivations to help the team to get better. I believe from what I've been told, there was a lot of miscommunications. A lot of key players had their opportunities to make plays, but it's just that that team made a better play than we did. To kind of give a name out, I'm not saying bad anything at all. For example, Elijah is a perfect example of he wants to win. With AP, he wants to win. Both of those guys love the team. They have been in my podcast the last three episodes before and they love the team. They love everything about the team and they just want to win. When it comes down to the big dance in Wausau and now Labor Day again, those are the games that they want to win. I don't blame them for maybe asking to join a team just for that tournament. Not for the year, just for the tournament. I am not going to be, hey, why are you joining this team? I thought you were dedicated to team pursuers. That's not really my position. Pretty much, I'm saying that I'm not in a position to ask that question or to force them to not play for that team or any other teams. Everyone's free to do whatever they want to do. I'm not going to bash on you guys or I'm not going to disregard you guys. You guys are one of the best players that we have in the team. If you guys want to join the team for that tournament, you have my respect, my love, my gratitude. Go out and play hard and just do what you always do on the field and outside and also during practice. And also news, us guys, Crusaders, are not playing for Labor Day, but Team Shadows are. For Team Shadows, go out there and kick some butts. I know that you girls are just started and you girls are going to have to climb your way up to make yourself perfect, or not perfect, to make yourself better every single game and every single playoff game. So for the girls, go out there, go win it, and hopefully you girls can bring a championship back home. So, I believe that will be the last tournament of the year, at last, New Rice Bowl. But I know most guys will not go play because it's not a really meaningful game, but if you're among, you know, you want to race, hell yeah, I want to race too. But for me, I will not be there either. I'll be in a bachelorette party for my friend back in Eau Claire. But, you know, just to me, I feel like I could have done better, you know, and to kind of help this team the best I can with this podcast too and giving everyone the interview that I can. Um, there are some questions with a lot of positions that we need to fill up. I know there's questions about quarterback with Tome. So, you know, some questions about running backs with Bobby too, because apparently with the injury that Bobby has been getting from the concussion he had this year, really scary. You know, we don't want him to get hurt. You know, we don't want him to risk his life for the game, you know. So, for him, I'm not so sure where he's at, where his mindset is at, where he wants to go or what he wants to do. Same with going with the wide receivers and also on defense. But, you know, guys, this is just my opinions and my thoughts about the season. We just came out short, which is, you know, it's okay for everyone to come short. But it's up to the team to make a difference, to really reach out and, you know, make those corrections for everyone, you know. So, I know we all cry, you know. We all will hit our deepest moments in the game, because this is a game of football. We love football. We love the drive. We love the game. We enjoy every single thing. I love everyone here in the team who will play or did not play, you know, who can practice or who did not. You know, my love for you guys is endless. You know, I've learned a lot from you guys. You know, playing one full season with you guys is amazing. I know I missed like two games, two tournaments, you know, which is Labor Day and also in Eau Claire. But, you know, besides that, playing with you guys was amazing. And the only thing, my part, that I want to do now is just get stronger, get better, get mentally better. I know the NFL season started literally this year. Not this year, I'm stupid. Literally like next month, you know, and for us, you know, it just, you know, we have to regroup. We really have to regroup. We really have to come back and understand our mistakes, you know, what we did wrong, and to move on forward as a team, you know, as one whole, as a group of brothers. But I want to give the thanks to coach for really giving, motivating everyone to really get better. And everyone, even on defense, offense, the captains, you know, you guys did great. And all we can do now is really to get stronger for next season, you know. I know that this will be hard for sure, and it's going to be a really hard time to focus on what we want to do.
