The host also gives his ratings for the quarterbacks on the team, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. He concludes by expressing his excitement for future practices and the upcoming games. Welcome to today's podcast. I'm your host, Tony. And today we'll be talking about last practice and also my ratings for the overall and our rosters. We're going to correct. Can I give our ratings? Can I get the team more excited? And also got to thank you to our sponsors at Bubble Bay, Little Tokyo, Asian Taste, Rick the Barber, Fulcoma, and also Gina Tech Solutions. Hello, everyone. I know it's been about weeks, maybe three weeks or so, depending on the last time I made the last episode. But that episode was based on pretty much the last practice I was in. That was a while ago, like towards the beginning of April or February. I kind of forgot. So today, we're going to talk about how practice went last weekend on Sunday and how everyone there is just going to be working hard and get ready for Memorial Day, right? So during practice, I was there and I had a great time. I missed everyone there and seeing the main one, the main players there, and also some bench players, and having some time to play with them and knowing the plays and knowing the defensive call and schemes, and it helps a lot as well. And thanks also to Coach Pete and Coach Aaron to be there every single weekend to make sure that we understand what to do and understand how us players should do to get together as a team. So during that Sunday, I was playing on defense and I want to give a shout out to Bobby. And Bobby, not Bobby, Billy, my bad, Billy, not Bobby. Billy helped me a lot on the defense and on the ass rushing side. And getting advice from your teammates and getting advice from other people as well really helps to really up my game. And so I believe I got like two sacks or one sack. Hey, I'll take one. That's fine with me. And I believe Billy got like at least three or two or three. And throughout the entire time, he was just pressuring the quarterback and AP and Tomei. And for him to do that, it's amazing as well. And that's why I say I always learn from these guys, I always learn from everyone else. And that's the only way that you can improve as a player. And when you do that every single time, every single week, when you see us on the field or off the field, just learn the best you can. Like I said, be humble about it and until then, keep on working yourself, go work out at the gym and keep on making improvements. And also I want to give a shout out to Josh. And Josh is a guy on offense, well we just met him pretty much on Sunday. I believe he's one of Bobby's friends that came through to practice and we kind of got to know him a little bit more and see what he can do and make this kind of type plays. He seems like a very fast guy and he seems like he can control the ball when he needs to. But I think there is some miscommunication between the quarterback and Josh. Like I said, the first time you come to practice, it's going to be a little bit different because you never got thrown to the ball from the main quarterback or the second quarterback as well. And for Josh to come in and make some plays and do some good moves as well, the hands are great. I believe he could be a great asset to the team and having him this year, if he plays as well, will be a great addition to our receiving corps or a running back corps as well. And of course, we all know that Pete is here with us and Pete's been doing his best to make sure to help us the best we can on defense as well. With Pete, even though he's about a year, I think he's 29, I don't want to mis-age him because that's what I did with Chong and Chong was only 23 at that time. So I think Pete's a little bit older than coach or the same age. But I'm grateful to have him there. He is such a great coach on defense and he's willing to, every single play, he wants us to communicate on defense. Even if, get into the huddle and really talk to each other and that's what he told us to do. And when we did that, it actually worked. Billy actually said, hey, let's go 3-and-out, let's go 3-and-out, and it actually worked. The defense hooked up and the offense were 3-and-out. I believe AP got really frustrated and there was one play left and AP thought, fuck it, I'm going to throw a downfield to Elijah. So that was a plus on our defense as well because knowing that even if our main starters are not there, at least our bench players, our backfield players are still there to learn. You know what I mean? And that's very helpful as well. I know Billy is probably, he's a extreme guy, but even though he's not a starter, he still has that veteran mindset of, hey, I'm here to help. I'm here to make sure that everyone here understands what their job is and understand what they have to do. So a shout out to Coach Pete and also to Billy. Like I said, you guys are amazing on defense and keep on communicating with us and make sure we understand how to be better. And that's pretty much what I've got on the defense. For the offense, I already covered with Josh already, a great guy. I love seeing Elijah going out there and catching the ball, man. He's an amazing guy and the way how he runs around. Like I said, I can praise Elijah any day, every single day. And Elijah is hands down one of the best. There you go. I give you that. There you go. I love seeing AK as well, Maun as well, and seeing Wad again. I haven't seen Wad for like three, four weeks now since. It's been a while, but I love seeing him. I was rushing him and he handswiped my hands down. I fell. I felt like, oh my God, what am I doing? But I caught myself back in and kept on running back and doing drills with him as well. It's amazing. For him to block bigger guys than me, I got to give him a lot of credit. He's shorter than me and yeah, he can still block too as well. And for having him in the center, he did an amazing job protecting the quarterback and more. So thank you all for the handswiping down. Another thing I want to talk about is AP, man, that motherfucker, bro. So they told me about the quarterback and it was a run play. I saw the run play coming. I was on the right side as rusher and I saw the ball went to either Bobby or the other loose hands and I went to him, right? But next thing I knew, AP came in front of me and he was going to block, I think Alex with a nose tackle. He was coming to as well, but then he blocked me and he pushed me to the ground. I was like, oh shit. I was like, oh my God, how the hell did I let that happen? But at the same time, you know, AP is a strong dude for sure. For next time, I'll be prepared and be ready for that shit because I know it was only practice, but at the same time, we got three weeks left or two weeks, three, two weeks left. So we got to be ready for that shit as well. So thank you AP for giving me that experience that, hey man, on the field, during game time, there's no such thing as going light. You had to put in a hundred percent to make sure that that person did not get back up, right? So thank you AP for that. You know, you are giving me a reason why I need to get stronger, get better for next practice. Thank you so much, man. Another person I want to talk about is I love seeing Bobby, man. Bobby is a fast motherfucker, dude. The fuck, man. And every single time when I see him as a running back, all I see is the flash and all I see is his black and white jersey, you know, running across the field already. So I love seeing Bobby, you know, even though he's spending time with his girl in Minnesota, you know, I love seeing that guy as well. I love seeing, um, damn it, I forgot his name and this is what happens. I haven't seen guys for a long time. Ah, man, Troy, oh my God, she's Troy. I haven't seen Troy in a long time, congrats to him for getting married as well. And that guy's a big dude, can still catch that ball even though he takes some time off of football as well. But you know, I love seeing him as well. And I love seeing, pretty much I love seeing everyone. I love seeing everyone there. So pretty much that's what I got for today. Um, like I said, I'm only making this today because to kind of talk about what's going on and what happened in practice. And so moving on to the overall, I want to do this because it's going to be fun for me. I love this. I want to, I want to give you guys my, my thoughts on how I want to rate you guys and overall rise. You know what I mean? We're going to start with the death chart of quarterbacks. So what I got here for quarterbacks is Tomei. And I'm going to give an overall for 86. I'm not saying that he's a bad quarterback, but to be honest, I'd give him a good fair 86. Reason why? Because there are times where I can see Tomei throwing some dumb ass throws. And for him to stay in the pocket, it's hard because you know, he has to deal with, with people who are taller than him, which is our O-line. And I think that's the only downfall of what I, for what I know, it's just the height, you know, of Tomei. But at the same time though, Tomei has a good pocket awareness and his throwing accuracy is on the dime. And like, to me, that's like an Aaron Rodgers shit to me. So every single, every single time when I see Tomei throwing that ball, uh, when he has to, when he has to roll out as well, you know, and that's awesome, amazing too. His play action is amazing, to fake the ball, to give it to Bobby, but really he got the ball instead and throw it down to Elijah, aka Omon, downfield. So I give, I guess, 86 overall. Up next, we got AP as well. AP is a great quarterback and great running back and receiver slot tight end. He could be anywhere. But for him, I give him like a, I gotta say, I will put him, look a slight higher than, than me. But I think I got him at 87 because the reason why, because you know, I think the only downfall that we have with AP is just, you know, frustration. You know what I mean? So besides that, you know, AP is really, he's like a Russell Wilson to me. He can move outside the pocket as, as, as much as he wants. And he moves his hips around and we can't get the flag. And for him to throw it downfield, it's really good. His, his deep throws are really amazing. And for him to do that to every, to any player, as long as they catch that ball, amazing. So I give AP a good overall of 87. And next we got Bobby. Bobby, I gave him at 87 as well. 87 for him is amazing because he's a fast motherfucker and you can't, you cannot catch up to him. Once he, once he got that ball, he's going to juke you out and break your ankles. He's going to go downfield. Up next, we got Adam, his brother. I gave him an 83. I haven't seen too much of Adam yet. Maybe this season, maybe I can see him more, but you know, for him at, for him to have the, uh, I guess you could say the explosiveness of the way how Bobby does, you know, it's not comparable, I guess you could say, but it's there, but it's not as explosive compared to Bobby. But like I said, guys, I need to see Adam more and I'll probably give him a better overall throughout the years. Up next, we got wide receiver Elijah. Man, that motherfucker is a 91. I wish I could give him a 99, but there are times where he does get double coverage and you know, there are times where he does get pressure as well. But a 91 for me, it's amazing already. Up next, we got wide receiver Mon. I gave him an 88. He's a veteran player. He's been there before. He has the mentality of winning the ball, get the ball and win it. And his mentality is, hey, you're going down, bro. That's it. So I gave him an 88. Up next, we got wide receiver AK, AK-47, right? I gave him an 84. The reason why, because his hands are great, right hand is great, but he told me he got fat for what I've seen him at Milwaukee. At the same time, I've seen him play and his route running is still very clean. It's a perfect catch. Everything else is great and I believe whenever it comes down to catching in traffic, he gets the ball down to his hands and gets the first down. Up next, we got wide receiver Robbie. That motherfucker has been balling good enough since the offseason. I'll give him a great overall of 84 for now. Until then, the season comes, man, people are going to be scared of him. And don't worry, Robbie. Your overall will increase. Up next, we got offensive line. We got offensive line Wa. I gave him an 86. The way he blocks against me and against bigger guys, it's really hard for him to do. And for him to actually be at the skill, in the overall he's at right now, it's amazing. So like I said, I gave him an 86. I got a fee up next, fee long, I gave you 87. Reason why? Because you're a big dude. You're a really big dude, you can block and whenever you say a huddle, everyone loves that shit. So keep it up, man. I gave you 87. I got Bradley Austin, Brad Austin, Austin, I gave you 88. You're a big dude. It's hard to go around you when it comes down to small guys like me. And for you to have the ability to block every single play, every single time, man, you're a great blocker. I gave you 88. Tally's up next. Tally, I gave you 87. I think you're a little bit smaller than Austin a little bit, but still great. Dabod, amazing, a beautiful baby. And I believe that Tally's still a great blocker and in D-Line, and that was coming up too as well. And also for Tally, D-Line, you are 87 as well. You can pass rush any time you want, you can pass rush inside the quarterback. And when you get tagged, you call me to come in, I got your back, buddy. So I gave you an 87 overall on the offensive line. When you get the black AK, not being racist, okay guys, black AK, man, buddy, I got you at 93, bro. You are, okay, I'm just saying, most likely, a lot of black people are really athletic. And the AK, you are amazing. I gave you 93 for defense, nose tackle, whatever you're at. And the way how you pass rush the offensive line, you pressure the quarterback to run outside and you do that every single play. And I love that from you, brother. And you have the dog in you. I love that shit, bro. Up next, we got Troy. Troy, I got you at 86. You're still great. You can still pressure the quarterback. I remember back then when we faced Black Venom, not Black Venom, what is it, no. I forgot which team, well, back in Sheboygan, I forgot. Anyways, you did great against them, I saw, and you pretty much, even on offense as well, you're still great as well. So for you to be 86, I get you a fair 86. Up next, I got Billy. Billy, I got you 83. 83 is good for me, to be honest. I know that you say you're up in age, but at the same time, you're still young too. Is there still room to improve? Hell yes, for sure. It's just that you and I are the same height, same size, so it's hard for us to get through sometimes against bigger guys, but Billy, man, I got you at 83. Isaiah, buddy, I got you at 79. Isaiah, I haven't seen you in a long time. Even though you're smaller than me, but you still have the veteran player mindset and you know how to get inside and you know how fast you can be. I got you at 79. And up next, I got myself, Tony, man, I'm not good. I'm okay. I got myself at 75. I'm not the best pass rusher. I'm not the best overseer at all, but for me, I just believe that I'm just good enough. But I know you guys will say, hey, man, don't describe yourself. You're a great player. I get that. Thank you, brothers. This is the reason why. I'm working as hard as I can to get fast, to get stronger as well, and to improve myself every single practice. Up next, we got two cornerbacks. K Lu, I got you 86. You're still a great guy. I believe that the first time you defended me, I got my ball tossed out of my hands and you did a good job. And for you to play man, all zone coverage, all pressure, anything at all, you're still the guy that can still make those plays. I got you, like I said, at 86. Now I got you 84. It's just that your size is small. You're a little bit shorter, but your speed is great. Coverage is great. Lockdown is great. I got you 84. Vincent, I got you 82. You're a big dude too as well. You're a little taller than my size as well. I got you 82. I got you more. I got you at 88. Like I said, Jamar, you're a great guy. You can play on and off. Zone coverage, oh man. As long as you cover that guy and you get there in time, bro, you'll be shorter too. You remind me of Jay Alexander. Hey man, great guy, bro. Up next, we got middle linebackers. I got Charlie at 89, bro. Your awareness in the linebacker position is amazing. Your zone coverage is amazing. Your pursuit is amazing. Everything else about you is amazing. 89, bro. I got Keegan at 84. Keegan, you're getting there, buddy. You are getting there. I can't wait to see you on the field and meet those core players on defense. Do your thing, bro. You're going to keep on rising. John, I got you at 82. Just two under Keegan, but like I said, bro, you're still great. You're still good. You're still fast. There are times when you do get hurt. I don't want to see you get hurt. I want you to go out there and play your ass off. Damien, I got you at 82. The reason why I got you at 82 is because you drink too much. Man, you got to chill with that shit, bro. Drink all you want, but Damien, I got you at 82. Safety, last one, but I got Mark. I got Mark. You got 85, brother. I haven't seen you in a while, but your mentality as a veteran player and as a leader is still there. I love who you are. I love what you do. Keep on doing your thing, brother. Until next time, I'll see you back on the field. All right, everyone, so that's all I got for the overall roster, but I could do more, but I'm only basing this off from the depth chart on WOSA, so excuse me if I did not put anyone else in there, like Jared or Talvin, who else did I forget, Lou, Zenku, any of you guys. If I forget you guys, I'll be sure next time to put you guys in. I always wanted to do this just because I want to share my opinions. This is just my opinions and my point of view. Don't get mad at me because like I said, it's only my opinions. Anyway, guys, thank you for listening. Until next time, I'll see you guys in the next one.
