បាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន្រាន good afternoon good evening from whatever part of the world you are tuning in from this it is inspired by a word podcast and i'm your host reverend dr tammy smith saying welcome to each and every one of you i want to thank you the listeners for dropping your email address so that you can receive notifications when episode one drops i regret to inform you that our first guest mom had passed away and we need to give the family time and space to process and grieve their loss so this podcast is a pre-empt to episode one i'm also waiting to hear back from our gen y through z and the millennials to confirm another episode until then the views of the host and inspired by a word and their guests are not necessarily the views of facebook youtube instagram and you the listener or its sponsors inspired by a word host would like to hear from you what's your take or your spin on today's topic which is pants in the pulpit now i'm an old school i don't have any qualms regarding pants i wear them and prefer to wear them i was raised pentecostal as an adult kojic apostolic to non-denominational i have no qualms regarding pants however my question to you the listener tonight is today or this afternoon what are your views on women wearing pants in the pulpit let me pause and give you a moment to think about that and be able to respond and answer accordingly now there are and i have seen some renowned ministers that are female who have mega churches and wear pants in the pulpit i'd like to hear from you what is your take on that should women wear pants in the pulpit when they're ministering when they're doing praise and worship that's the question on this evening want you to think about that i know there are some out in listening land that are really concerned about that and really poo-poo on women standing in the pulpit um it is considered a sacred place and and i am a firm believer that the pulpit is a sacred place and so are are women being disrespectful when they wear pants in the pulpit or is it a religious phenomenon that people are really been out of shape about should we not permit that to happen when women are to sing or when women are to minister the word of god and be wearing pants i know there are some pastors who do not permit women even in the pulpit let alone wearing pants in the pulpit but this was something that um the lord had given me on march 6th at 4 49 a.m and as i was praying i'm like okay god give me what it is that you um that's on your heart concerning the listeners and that was the topic that was given to me and so my view is and yes i've been guilty i have definitely been guilty about wearing pants in the pulpit i think maybe i've ministered maybe once and i think maybe i've um presided over the service and had pants on um did i feel uncomfortable not particularly even though i know particularly even though i know some people were really struggling with that and so to keep people from struggling and feeling um short of a word or a thought disrespected i don't know what are your thoughts on that i'd like to hear from you the listener go to my facebook page where it will be posted and put your views until then until you get that announcement from me that episode one is soon to drop i want to part and say good evening to each and every one of you and thank you for sharing your views as a listener looking to hear from you real soon so you
