The speaker shares a story about helping someone who fell off a bar stool. They jumped in to assist when no one else did. The person they helped was unconscious but regained consciousness after the speaker talked to him. The speaker mentions that the person has been encouraging them to do something with their voice, so they finally decided to take action and pursue opportunities to use their voice. for my first demo I would like to tell a story I'm new to this and I kind of want to come from an authentic type of performance so I'm gonna tell a story so about a month ago I was sitting at a bar and someone fell off the their bar stool so turn around look back there's two gentlemen jump down on the floor with a guy they were probably about 6'3, 225 pounds or so I'm about 6'3, 6'4, 245 pounds so I jumped up and the guy that they they finally got him sitting up and he was unconscious head was slapped over and I'm saying talk to him say his name and nobody said anything so the one guy said my arms are getting tired so I said move out of the way I jumped down on the ground and put my body up against his held him up with the other guy one of the guys stayed down there with me and I just started talking to him and I asked him if he had high blood pressure he nodded his head asked him could he hear me and that he'd be safe and I had him you know had his back and he looked at me like it was like from a movie scene like he had heard the voice of God so we finally got him to his feet ambulance came and then he went on his way he was 71 years old I guess for the last month he's been coming in there he was like you need to do something with that voice so he told me to jump on some sites research so here I am I finally did something about it because I've been hearing all my life I need to do something with my voice instead of you know just being a two times a week karaoke singer
