Sydney Warren interviews Simone Labine Kim about her photo shoot experience at Baby Village. Simone chose Baby Village because she lives nearby and frequents Starbucks. She didn't enjoy taking pictures at Starbucks due to the crowded and unnatural setting. Simone would prefer a more private location like her house or a less crowded park. Baby Village is not a significant part of her daily life, and she doesn't like it much. The clothes at the mall were ugly and the experience wasn't comfortable or natural. Simone rates the experience a 6 or 7 out of 10. She would do it again if needed but prefers more natural photo shoots. Hi, I'm Sydney Warren and today I'm with Simone Labine Kim and today we'll be discussing on her experience getting her photo shoot taken at Baby Village. So Sam, why did you choose Baby Village? Well I live right next to Baby Village and I end up there a lot in my everyday life. I know that on that day you really wanted to go to Starbucks. Is Starbucks a part of your daily life usually? Usually I end up there pretty often like during the school week. There's currently the fall menu and I'm obsessed with the iced pumpkin chai latte so I was going there a lot during October. And did you get the pumpkin spice latte? I did, I did. Well how did it feel like getting your pictures taken at Starbucks specifically? I don't know, I didn't like it that much because Starbucks was like super crowded and people were just like trying to get their drinks and like get out. It didn't feel very natural getting your pictures there, did it? No, probably not. The most natural. Well was there any point where you felt annoyed getting your pictures taken? No, I mean I just felt maybe like I get I have a bit of social anxiety so I just don't like taking pictures in like public spaces there's a lot of people. So if you were to redo this photo shoot would you prefer doing it at a more private location? Yeah most likely probably it would probably be better to do it somewhere like my house or like I don't even know like something like a park that's like less crowded like or like a walk or something like in my neighborhood I mean like something like a park because there's not much to do in a park. So if we were to do it at your house what would your normal day-to-day routine look like? I would wake up like make breakfast and head to school grab Starbucks on my way or after school and then come home do homework and all that. So baby village really isn't that part that big of your daily life then? No it's not I'm actually not the biggest fan of baby village because I've just I've lived here for so long and I've spent so much time in that place and there's not there's nothing to do there like just the only like kind of big mall around well not true but like right in walking distance so there's also just like a lot of old people so like it's a lot of old rich people stores not really anything for people our age. Yeah the only store is the Gap. Yeah so I ended up taking photos there. Yeah and that wasn't a very fun experience is it was it? No because not only are like clothes like ugly so I was kind of like looking through clothes I was like ew and then I was like holding it up in the mirror to look at it and I was like holding up ugly clothes and people were looking. It didn't make you feel very comfortable either. Yeah it didn't feel very natural also. So on a scale from 1 to 10 what's this a well how would you rate this experience? Like I don't know a 7 like. A 7? I don't know like good would mean like 10 right like it went like just really well but maybe like a 6 or 7 cuz like we did it we finished the assignment you know I got my Starbucks. So it was okay overall? Mm-hmm yeah it's alright. But would you ever do this again? Um well if you needed me to I would but I prefer more natural photo shoots like not in a mall. So you're really just like an amazing friend? Yeah. Yeah basically. Thank you so much Sam. Have a great afternoon. You too, you too.
