Nothing to say, yet
This is a poetic description of a goddess of the deep ocean who is drawn to the land and a lighthouse where she has a special connection with a beloved. They long to be together but their worlds are too different. The goddess must return to the ocean and let go of the fantasy of being with him. There is another who offers his love from the depths of the ocean, reminding the goddess of a magical night they shared on the shore. Born of the ocean's beauty, wild and free, a goddess of the deep, her gaze is drawn to the land far beyond, where humans sleep. Her mind wanders to the lighthouse, standing proud on the cliff's edge, where she and her beloved seal the sacred, whispered pledge. With thoughts of him, her spirit flies like a bird upon the wing, his lilting voice speaking tender words that make her soul sing. She yearns to feel grass beneath her feet, smell fragrant trees, to feel his kiss float to her lips upon the briny breeze. Their worlds are like the sun and moon, impossible to transcend. She cannot rise to his lofty realm, nor he to hers descend. There is little solace found in her dreamscapes of forever age. She must return to where she belongs and relinquish his fantasy. For she can never be free from the ocean's captivating core, where far below the surface, there is another who offers his all. From a distance, a siren's song stirs his memory of one magical night, when on the shore they lay in sweet Shangri-La till breaking dawn's second midnight.
