The emergence of short-form videos hasn't completely replaced longer videos, news reports, and lectures. These older formats are still used, albeit in different ways. This can be considered as media archaeology. A prime example is the continued development of vinyl discs. Luckily, although the short-form video had overlapped the older format media, such as normal videos, news reports, and lectures in the future, those lengthy clips are still being used when needed. It means that all the older things don't completely disappear. They are just being used less or in different ways. This could be seen as media archaeology. The most significant example is the development of vinyl discs.
