Marketing is about getting more people to see your product, which can lead to more sales. However, simply getting more eyes on your product is not enough. The key is to build systems that can convert those leads into actual sales. Good marketers excel at following up with leads and finding ways to help them. Any marketer can generate leads, but the real challenge is converting them effectively. Yes, this is what it boils down to. Marketing is just more eyes on you. So even if you have a crappy product, for instance, more eyes on it equals more sales. It's been proven throughout history, more people that see it equals more sales. Doesn't matter how bad it is, right? So most marketers already have that down. They can get you the eyes, anybody can run a campaign, anybody can create a campaign, set it up and press play, but they're going to burn through your dollars if they don't really know how to do it right by building systems to convert those leads at a high rate. So that's the kicker, building the systems, right? So are you following up the lead? That is where the good marketers will excel and the bad marketers will fail. It's the differentiator, the systems that convert those leads at a high rate. Because otherwise, what are you paying for? Leads are just pixels on a screen unless they actually convert into cash in the bank. Is a real person contacting these leads immediately after they schedule? If they filled out their contact information for some reason, but for some reason they didn't schedule, why? And are we reaching out to them to ask them how we can help them?
