I want to give a shout-out to Matt and I's daughters, Cindy, Cassandra, Carol, and Christina, Carla, and our daughter-in-law, Michelle. Yes, we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. So, with my hands lifted up and my heart filled with gratitude, I praise you, Lord, because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful and I know that full well. Oh, how He loves you and oh, how He loves me. On this special day, we celebrate moms with showers of praise and appreciation, gifts and tokens of love, and yes, don't forget to cook mom's special dinner. We say thank you for your unselfish love, strength, courage, and commitment to motherhood and the well-being of family and community. We also remember and give tribute and honor to moms and grandmas from days past who left spiritual legacies and family traditions for this generation and future generations to follow. I was totally blessed when I called my mom, who is now 91 years old in California, was totally blessed by God to be independent in her own home. She drives a late model vehicle, she sews, she does quilting, patio gardening, loves gourmet cooking, and skillfully plays the keyboard. Memories of her mother's life legacy that brought tears of joy to her eyes and words of gratitude and appreciation to her mom for being an example of a life sold out to God and ministry, as well as a dedicated wife and mom who gave everything she had into the life and well-being of her family. We called our grandmother, Granny. She was small in stature, but was a mighty woman of God who was giant in the work of ministry and a woman of fervent prayer. As a child, I remember family prayer time. We stopped what we were doing and in reverence to God came together on our knees in prayer around the bed of our grandparents whom we call Big Daddy and Granny. We all have precious memories of our mothers and grandmothers and the impact of their loving care, encouragement, support, teaching, as well as their training and discipline in our life. Yes, discipline. The Bible says that a virtuous woman is a woman who is strong, spiritual, capable, filled with wisdom, and with the Spirit of God. And according to Proverbs 31 and 10, she is far above rubies. Now we all know what a ruby is. It's a gemstone of great value and durability. It symbolizes nobility, purity, and strength. And yes, we are of great worth in the kingdom of God. And remember, that is who you are. Proverbs 16, that the effective, fervent, powerful prayer of a godly mom avails much fear or not of this world, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. And this is found in 2 Corinthians. You continue to stand for truth and righteousness. A godly mom is essential in the kingdom of God and even more in the household. The Bible says that a godly woman speaks with wisdom. She gives instruction with kindness and graciousness. Praise the Lord. And we know wisdom comes from God. It is a foundation that will last forever and bring glory to God. And we know wisdom comes from God. It is a foundation that will last forever and bring glory to God. Be still and know that He is God. Trust Him with your health and your finances and with major decisions in life. Trust the Holy Spirit to lead you and to guide you. The Bible says that He would renew our strength and that we would mount up with wings as eagles and nothing will hold you down. You will have freedom to fly above the pollution of hopelessness, above the pollution of doubt and fear. When you run you will not be weary. With God you can run through a troop and you can jump and leap over a wall. You will walk it and not faint. God is able to keep you and me from falling into anxiety, fear, doubt, and depression. So my sister, keep seeking God with all of your soul, heart, and mind. Keep holding to God's unchanging hand and don't let go because God is faithful. He is trustworthy. He is gracious. He is merciful. And yes, He loves us. He is a promise keeper. He will bless you and give you peace in your life and heart. Godly mom, the greatest joy is to hear and know that your children walk in truth and righteousness. It's worth it all when our children rise up and call us blessed. It's worth it all when our children rise up in excellence, when they rise up and walk in the newness of life. It's all worth it when our children rise up and walk by faith and trust God for themselves. It's all worth it when our children rise up and know the power of God that moves mountains and claims comps the raging sea. It's worth it all when the lives of our children make a difference in the world that they live in. Our husbands also will give us a word of praise. Job well done. Thumbs up. Thank you for your hard work. Many women have done excellently, but you surpassed them all. Amen and amen. Sharing in love, sharing in love, bringing in love, bringing in love, that's what it's all about. Children, that's what it's all about. Loving and caring, that's what it's all about. Children, that's what it's all about. Loving and caring, that's what it's all about. Children, that's what it's all about. That's what it's all about. That's what it's all about.
