"At the Club" is a poem written by Richard Hovey, an American poet known for his collaboration with Canadian poet Bliss Carman. Hovey graduated from Dartmouth College and is recognized for composing the school Alma Mater, Men of Dartmouth. The poem was featured as part of the Weekly Poetry project and was recorded by LibriVox volunteers in August 2013. Hovey, along with Carman, co-authored three volumes of "tramp" verse titled Songs from Vagabondia, More Songs from Vagabondia, and Last Songs from Vagabondia. This last volume was published after Hovey's death.
