William Carlos Williams

William Carlos Williams was an American poet who was closely linked with modernism and imagism. Along with his career in poetry, he was also a well-known pediatrician and general practitioner of medicine. He attained his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Although he was more dedicated to his writing career, Williams was equally accomplished as a physician.
