Nothing to say, yet
Frodo and Gandalf discuss the burden of the ring and their wish for a simpler life. They acknowledge that they cannot control the times they live in, but they can decide how to use their time. Frodo sighed and leant back in his chair, his gaze fixed on the distant horizon. The weight of the ring pressed heavily upon him, and a deep sense of weirdness filled his heart. I wish it hadn't happened in my time, he said, his voice filled with longing for a simpler existence. Gandalf, his wise eyes glimmering with both sorrow and determination, leaned forward and placed a reassuring hand on Frodo's shoulder. So do I, he replied, his voice tinged with regret, and so do all who live to see such times. That is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.
