FAITH CLINIC SERVICE 3RD AUGUST 2023 BY SIS. OGECHI NKWOCHA
The speaker is expressing gratitude and praise to God, emphasizing that there is no one like Him and thanking Him for various aspects of life. They encourage the audience to bless and worship God, stating that the month of August will bring blessings and favor. The speaker then discusses the power of words, warning against speaking carelessly as they can have a significant impact on others and on oneself. They quote verses from Proverbs and James to support their point and urge the audience to be mindful of how they speak to others. I bless you because I'm gonna have a divine encounter with you tonight. Lord, I worship you. Somebody bless in the name of the Lord. I can hear your voices. I can hear your voices. Let voices be raised up tonight. Even as up to life in the name of the Lord. Yatiyamakoshetaya bakadeya. Yimakutayamayenteyerebokoshetaya. Lord, there is no one like you. In heaven and in earth, Lord, there is none to compare to you. Thank you because you are bigger than the biggest. Lord, you are higher than the highest. Lord, you are mightier than the mighty. Lord, you are the omnipotent God. You are the omniscience God. You are the one who was and who is to come. Tonight, all I want to say is to say thank you. Thank you, Lord. Let us bless the Lord for the life that we live. Many people want to see a day like this, but they are nowhere to be found. Lord, I give you all the praise tonight. Thank you because I am alive. Lord, I bless you for my family. Lord, I bless you for my business. Lord, I bless you for my career. Is somebody lifting up the name of Jesus? Is somebody lifting up the name of Jesus? Is somebody lifting up the name of Jesus? The Lord has been so sweet. The Lord has been so wonderful. Lord, we bless you because we are all alive. Thank you for bringing us to your service tonight. Lord, we give you praise. Lord, we give you praise. Lord, we give you praise. In Jesus' mighty name, we have given thanks. Amen. Let me remind you tonight that we are in a prayer service and I will expect us to pray like never before. Praise God. I want us to look at this month of August. This is a new month. Let us bless the Lord for the month of August. Bless him and say, Lord, I bless you. Lord, I worship you. Lord, I give you praise. Thank you for the great plans that you have for me this month. Thank you for where you are taking me to in this month. I don't know where you are seeing this month, but I am seeing greater works this month. I am seeing favor this month. Why not bless the Lord and say, Lord, I bless you for favor this month. Lord, I bless you for blessings this month. Lord, I bless you for divine promotion this month. Lord, I bless you for where you are taking me to this month. Thank you because I am going to be entering this month in a happy mood. Lord, I say thank you. Lord, I say thank you. Let there be a name of the Lord in the highest. Lord, there is no one like you. No man should give glory to himself. All the glory must be to the Lord. No man should give glory to himself. All the glory must be to the Lord. No man should give glory to himself. All the glory must be to the Lord. No man should give glory to himself. All the glory must be to the Lord. Father, I would say thank you tonight. Thank you because you are the one that has brought us here. Thank you because you have something sensible to give us. And that is why you have brought us by yourself. Lord, we give you all the praise. Father, we give you all the honor. Father, we say receive all the glory. We thank you for this month of August. We thank you because it is going to be a sweet month for us. Lord, we worship your name. Lord, we give you praise. In Jesus' mighty name, we have given thanks. Please, if you are sitting down, can you please just stand up for a while. Hold your neighbor. At a time like this, when we gather together, from the east and west. Oh, somebody. From the north and south, when we gather together, in the name of Jesus Christ. Oh, Lord, arise and shine at the time of the time like this. Oh, when we gather together, from the east and west. From the north and south, when we gather together, in the name of Jesus Christ. Oh, Lord, arise and shine. Oh, Lord, arise and shine. Oh, Lord, oh, Lord, arise and shine. Father, we have come before you tonight, holding our hands in agreement. Father, we believe that tonight you will touch every soul in this place. We believe tonight that you will reach forth to everyone tonight. We believe tonight that there will be healing deliverance. We believe tonight that there will be miracle signs and wonders. We believe tonight that there shall be salvation of souls. We believe tonight that no one will go back home the same way they came. We believe tonight that testimony is ours. Lord, we say thank you. Lord, we say thank you. Like never before have your way, oh, Lord. Speak your word to us tonight. Let the name of Jesus be glorified. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. Somebody that is believing God for a miracle tonight, let us shout the biggest hallelujah. Hallelujah. Please let us be seated in the presence of the Lord. You are all welcome in Jesus' name. Hallelujah. Okay, so the topic that we'll be looking at tonight, it says be careful what you say. And that is why we'll be praying in that line of thoughts. We'll be praying concerning pronunciations and talks, evil talks, wickedness, talks of evil that have been said concerning our destiny. We'll be praying in that line tonight. And I am hoping that God will answer us tonight. Ah, ah, ah, I see, brother, I see. I am hoping that God will answer us tonight in the name of Jesus. We will not pray in vain in Jesus' name. We will not pray in vain in Jesus' name. Hallelujah. Okay, so let's quickly look at Proverbs 13, verse 3. Proverbs 13, verse 3. We'll be looking at them. I'll be reading from a good news version. It says be careful what you say. Proverbs 13, verse 3. Be careful what you say and protect your life. A careless talker destroys himself. The letter passage, a careless talker destroys himself. So there is need for us to be careful of what we say because works are worse. Works are powerful and they can have a great impact, either good or evil. Be careful about what we say can affect others. It can affect their life as well as our own. So not just in the physical world but also in the spiritual realm. Most people don't think about the spiritual world but it's just as real as what we see around us. I hope you are getting what I'm saying. If you are getting what I'm saying, say amen. If you are understanding me, say amen. If you don't understand, say amen. Ah, praise God. So most people don't think about the spiritual world but it's just as real as what we see around us. Works can take on a life of their own and we can hurt another person deeply if we speak carelessly. We can hurt another person. Works have made people to commit suicide. So we should be careful what we say. We can't just talk carelessly. Praise God. Proverbs 18, verse 21 says that death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit. So those who love it will eat its fruit. Be careful what you say. This may seem like an extreme statement until we see the end result of what we say to others. You know, some kind of talks that comes out from some people's mouth makes the person that is being spoken to, to cry for like seven days, can make the person to cry for eternity. Do you know? Praise God, if you are understanding me, wave your hands. Hallelujah. So this seems like an extreme statement until we see the end result of what we say to others. Whether we are deliberately hurtful or we speak comfort and encouragement, the effect of what we say always comes back to us. It always comes back to us. So we can break other spirits when we speak negatively towards them over an extended period of time. You can actually discourage somebody to go for his or her dreams. Praise God. By the way we speak, maybe somebody just comes to us for a cancer, and then you make the person feel, oh, are you going for football? No. They break legs for them. No good. They chop man for them. No good. Their words are not encouraging. It's not loving. Their words are not, I don't know, if you understand me, do you understand me? If you understand me, wave your hands again. Praise God. So we can break other spirits when we speak negatively towards them over an extended period of time. The emotional pain, discouragement, and resentment this generates can eventually cause others to shy away from us. Let's be careful because the way we speak to other people can actually make people not to come close to us, especially when you are somebody that does not keep secrets. Especially when we are someone that we cannot keep secrets. Somebody come and tell you something now. The next thing, you have heard it. You have heard it. You know that kind of person will not come to us again and want to tell us something. So we need to be careful. If you understand what I'm saying, please clap your hands once. If you don't understand it, don't worry. Praise God. So let's look at James 3. We'll be looking at verse 2, verse 5, verse 6, 8, and 10. For we all stumble in many things. Proverbs 2, 3, verse 2. If anyone does not stumble in worry, he is a perfect man. Also able to breathe with the whole body. Even so, the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire can do. Verse 6. And the tongue is a fire, a word of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defies the whole body and sets on fire the course of nature. And it is set on fire by hell. Verse 8. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Verse 10. Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. Just like the way we are going to declare blessing upon our lives tonight. And I pray that God will answer us. I pray that God will answer us in the name of Jesus. My brethren, this is ought not to be so. So, from parents to children. Sometimes the way parents speak to their children has a great effect on the way they think and the way they behave. From husband to wife. The way husband and wife speak to each other affects their marriage. For siblings, the way siblings talk to each other impacts their relationship. You know that there are some siblings that they are not in peace right now. They are not in peace just because of what one of them said. They can't even say I. Praise God. Do you understand what I am saying? Wave your hand. Just once. Just like this. Praise God. We are in line. So for others, how we relate to others. People can either push each other away with a sharp tongue or build bridges and bring others closer together with their words. You can either bring people close to you with the way you speak or you can chase people away with the way you speak. Praise God. So a soft answer. Proverbs 15 verse 1. It says a soft answer thorns a wayward but a harsh word tears up anger. A lonesome tongue is a tree of life but a seed. Perverseness in it breaks the spirit. Proverbs 15 verse 1 and 4. So I am concluding. So whatever we speak about can trigger a chain reaction that eventually comes back to the source. To be seen favorably by others and by God. Speaking in love. Speaking in love is the wisest strategy. Please, what did I say? Thank you. Let no corrupt communication. Ephesians chapter 4 verse 29. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of my mouth. But that which is good to the use of edifying that it may minister grace unto the hearer. You see, my conclusion for this chapter is that. If you know you will not say anything that is lovely, keep quiet. I mean, what's the solution? If we will not be able to say something that is kind, that is edifying, it's no better we keep quiet. Just keep quiet. You know when you keep quiet like that, some people say, ah, this one, you know they talk. You don't know any truth. It's not true. It's not true. So when you know that this thing that you are going to say now will cause trouble, keep quiet. That is why it is not a must for us to be saying fucking all the time. Limit the way you talk. Limit it. The other time I went home, I was telling my mom. Ma, because we talk like buddy-buddy. I told her, you are talking too much. You are talking too much. You are talking too much. You are forcing her. You are forcing her. Because she will be correcting her grandchildren. Leave this one. Carry that one. I said, mommy, this talk you are talking, it affects you. And the thing eventually gives. If you know that, I don't know how I wish that people can be like me. If I don't have anything to say, I will stay in my room. I will keep quiet. If I am not talking, I feel that is the only thing that I know. I don't know anything, but I know how to sing. Praise God. So, when you are not, when you don't have anything godly, divine to say, you don't have a contribution to your subject, then you don't talk. Keep quiet. Because when you talk, that thing that you say might not add up. Have you ever seen someone that is saying something and at the end of the day, you are tired of the person talking? You are just tired. The person is just talking, talking, talking. It's not like the person will be talking about grandfather and grandmother. You will be tired. It's the same way. Just be careful. Just be observant. That's the way that you will be talking to somebody. And the person is tired. In that, keep quiet. You are talking to somebody, the person is already sleepy. Keep quiet. It's okay. That one that you are saying is okay. I said to my mom, I said, mommy, this woman, the one that you are saying, is okay. Praise God. So, the best way is to keep quiet. In James chapter 1 verse 19, remember this, my dear friends, everyone must be quick to listen, but slow to speak, and slow to become angry. My best part, slow to speak. Somebody wants to tell us something now. Is that allowed the person to learn? Hey, yes, I know the thing. I know how the thing happened. Even the thing happened in no sugar. The person will not say, no, it never happened in no sugar. It happened in no sugar. Praise God. If you are understanding me, raise your hands. Raise your hands to God. Hallelujah. So, but slow to speak and slow to become angry. There is a bigger need for us to be careful of who we, this is the part that I'm even going to, for us to be careful of who we relate our thoughts, who we relate our dreams, who we relate our aspirations to. It's not everybody. Mankechi, come and sit down. There is something I want to tell you. Mankechi might not be evil. She might not be a witch. She might not be wicked. But do you know that me, so this girl is traveling abroad. You know that thing can cancel your plan. So this small girl that I trained, used my hand to smack her bikini. She's not like this. She's not doing anything wrong. Be careful. Be careful. It's not everybody that you tell something. It's not. Because that person is so nice to you, you will not carry your, this thing, I'm going to give you this thing to you. The whole thing will just come to come. Praise God. Am I saying the truth? Because the way you people are looking at me is like, I'm saying something else. If I'm saying the truth, stand up and shout hallelujah. Praise God. If you do not stand up, it means that I'm not saying the truth. If you stood up, do like this. Hi, we are in the church. Praise God. So let's be careful of who we relate our dreams and thoughts to. So the advice is, when we have something that we want to say, I watched a movie one time like that. This friend was telling the other one that. That was telling you that time, that you should not tell such and such a person. That instead of this, go and tell such and such a person. Go and tell it to your bedroom. The person is making sense. It's not everybody that you tell something. If you know that your mouth is doing you to talk, you want to tell somebody something about you, maybe you know that this person that you want to tell this thing, is not the kind of person you do. Go and say it in your bedroom. Keep your secret. Keep your life. Proverbs chapter 13 verse 3 says, Be careful what you say and protect your life. Careless talker. Careless talker. Destroy themselves. Peaceless the upstanding. We have not started praying and you are tired. Praise God. If you are happy and you know, shake your body. Let's go. If you are happy and you know, shake your body. Aha. If you are happy and you know, and you really want to show. If you are happy and you know, shake your body. If you are happy and you know, jump up. If you are happy and you know, jump up. If you are happy and you know, and you really want to show. If you are happy and you know, jump up. If you are happy and you know, begin to bless the name of the Lord. Bless him tonight and say, Lord we bless you for your word. Lord we bless you for teaching us by yourself tonight. We are grateful Jesus. We are grateful Lord. We are grateful Lord. We are grateful Lord. We are grateful Lord. Thank you for your word. Lord we give you all the praise. Emmanuel we give you all the praise. Lord I bless you. Lord I bless you. Lord I bless you. Blessed be the name of the Lord in the highest. In the name of Jesus. Glory be to God. In the highest. Amen. Hallelujah. Glory be to God. In the, in the highest. Amen. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is nothing. Forever. Forever. Amen. Amen. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. For he is mercy. Let's raise our hands and pray for our sister. That the Lord have you this evening to bless us. Ask the Lord to refill her. In the name of Jesus, that virtue has gone out of her. Let the Lord refill her abundantly. In the mighty name of Jesus, everything that concerns her. From her foundation to the place of her lineage, her blessings. Let the Lord visit her this night. In the mighty name of Jesus. Let everything about her turn around for good. In the mighty name of Jesus. The word she has declared. Let her be a benefactor. In the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you, Father. Blessed be your holy name. In Jesus' name we pray. Father, once again we thank you for your daughter. Thank you for enablement. Thank you for the privilege. Thank you for using her tonight. We ask that you restore her. You refill her. In the mighty name of Jesus. You empower her in the name of Jesus. You cover her with the blood of Jesus Christ. For in Jesus' name we pray. Praise the Lord. In a minute, can you sit down? Let me take us back to what she said. What is the topic? Unspoken? Careful of what? Be careful of what you... So, she is indirectly saying that be careful the way you roll your tongue. What you say is controlled by your tongue. Or is released by your tongue. For your mouth to speak, the tongue must roll or make a movement. And the Bible describes the tongue as one of the most dangerous member of our body. Very small, but very, very powerful and dangerous. Now, it talks about careless talks. The things we say that work against us or work against our destiny. Now, careless talks can come as a convenant without you knowing. It can be pronounced upon you and you can as well create it by yourself unconsciously. Especially in the time of anger. Praise God. Praise the Lord. I remember in the time of anger, in the time of trial, in the period of waiting, you can make careless talk. I have waited for too long now. You will make a statement that will shift you from the focus. And it is a careless talk or you don't know that that statement you made has been established. Because you are angry, you make a careless talk. Because you want somebody to feel humiliated, you make a careless talk. For every word you say, the Bible says, it shall be what? There? It shall be fulfilled. God says even before you speak, I know what you want to say. And whatever you say into my hearing, I will do what? I will answer. So, it does not just answer the positive. Whatever you say. That's why sometimes we are confused. Why is the devil doing this?
