Raymond Z. Gallun

Raymond Zinke Gallun, an American author of science fiction, was part of a group of pioneering pulp writers who helped to popularize the genre. During the 1930s, he wrote a number of popular stories that were published in pulp magazines. It's worth noting that his last name rhymes with "balloon."
