In this podcast episode, the hosts discuss various topics related to fantasy football. They talk about the recent injuries in the NFL, including Aaron Rodgers, J.K. Dobbins, and Nick Chubb, and discuss potential waiver wire pickups to replace them. They also discuss wide receivers who could be game-changers and talk about the disappointment of some players, such as T. Higgins. They play a game where they guess the ADP and current ranking of players like Deebo Samuel and James Conner. Overall, they provide insights and opinions on various fantasy football topics. All right, let's get it. Welcome to the Pork Podcast, man. I'm your boy, Soy Sauce Sports, and joining me is my guy, Logue. I am him. You can call him Logue. You can call him him. We are here, man. The Pork Podcast, we're bringing you sports like you've never heard before. Take out all the bullshit you see on ESPN or wherever the fuck you get your news source from. This is a real conversation, man. This is the type of shit you talk about 3 a.m. with your boys, drunk as shit. Anyway, let's just jump right into it, man. The NFL Week 3 is officially wrapped up, and I'll tell you what. It's been a fucking weird NFL season so far. You got Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets era. Over before it started. Done for the season. Same week, J.K. Dobbins goes down, and now we lose Nick Chubb for the season. It's like, damn. Prayers up to them. But think about the guys that drafted them in fantasy, right? Nick Chubb. That's a tough loss, man. That's a tough loss because the running back waiver wire market is slimmer by the day. I mean, who's somebody that people can target right now? Who would be your waiver wire pick for a running back? You know, I guess you're going to pick up Korean Hunts. Yeah, Chubb. Yeah, right. You're going to pick up Korean Hunts. I mean, you got Ford there. I think Ford, he had a good week. Don't get me wrong. Yeah. But I think he was just a plug-in. Now they got Korean Hunts back. They got their fucking guy, man. He's been there. He's done that. Yeah, yeah. I don't know where this narrative came from because, you know, Ford had a good run against the Steelers maybe. But listen, Korean Hunts showed up in a Nick Chubb jersey. He is here to be RB1, man. It's deeper than fucking football. Bless him. I'm glad you said Korean Hunts because everybody knows, you know, the bottom-of-the-barrel guys in your league, they got in a waiver already for Devin Aitje, right? Yeah. Like, off the board. Unreal week. Yeah. Unreal. What I find interesting is the wide receiver market, though. There's still a few wide receivers in the waivers right now that I think could be low-key game-changing. League-winning, if you would. Yeah, they're still out there. Tank Dell. He's one of them. I mean, him and CJ Stroud look crazy. He just broke the Texans' single-game record in yards. Tank Dell did. And you gotta think. I mean, the Texans have been assed, but they had D-hop. They had D-hop. Yeah. Tank Dell's popping off. CJ Stroud is another waiver-wired guy, right? Maybe stack them both. I don't know. I would. Because I drafted Justin Fields in one of my leagues. So, I'm looking at CJ Stroud as a new Justin Fields. A new and improved. A guy who doesn't have to run the ball. He doesn't run the ball very much, CJ Stroud. I don't even think he cracked, what, 50 yards this year running. But he has 900 yards passing and no interceptions. Dude's legit, man. He's efficient, man. I like him. I think that's a great waiver. If he's still in the waiver-wire, I think he needs to be on rosters. Right. I don't see why not. No, man, listen. I know you guys drafted Burrow. Why is CJ Stroud more trustable than Burrow right now, man? I drafted Justin Fields. Why is Jordan Love more trustable than Justin Fields, man? Yeah, I think that's great waiver-wire. You gotta think about, you know, we gotta think about another injury. We gotta think about Mike Williams' replacement. Ooh. I'm probably leaning towards Joshua Palmer. Until Quentin Johnson can prove himself. Yeah. I had high hopes on him. Quentin Johnson, man, fucking physical specimen has all the tools. I was high on him coming in. I low-key picked him to be the offensive rookie of the year, like over Bajon, over a bunch of people, just based on how good the Chargers draft in the first round, from Derwin James to Joey Bosa, Justin Herbert, Rashawn Slater. All these guys are recent years. So I'm like, Quentin Johnson, they had to have seen something here. They had to. But it's just not clicking for me just yet. So, like, before the season, I'm like, oh, Quentin Johnson for sure. Give me Josh Palmer, man. Give me Josh Palmer. That's a waiver-wire. That's our waiver-wire. If you had Mike Williams or if you're high on the waiver and you want somebody on the high-powered Chargers offense, you gotta have the Chargers receipt. Right, right. You gotta have it. They're a great offense, you know. And they're gonna be throwing the ball. Herbert's gonna be throwing the ball. You know, he's top five in the NFL right now in yards. Oh, yeah, yeah. Six touchdowns, no interceptions. You gotta have his receipt. He's gonna fill the two spot. That's who you want. Exactly. And I spoke on Justin Fields real briefly. I'm not gonna speak on him anymore because it pains me. But who would be your biggest fantasy disappointment for this year thus far? Like, maybe a guy that you were high on. Pick the injuries out of it. I don't think that's really fair. You know what I mean? Like, somebody that was pretty high. And if he was available, you took him or you might have reached for him. Me, personally, I'm gonna make it personal because I drafted this guy in a couple weeks. I was looking for a big year out of him. You know, he has Joey, your boy Joey Burrow throwing. Oh, I know where this is going. You know, he was going wide receiver 11, 22. He was going 22 off the board. Our boy, the drop king himself, T. Higgins. T. Higgins. Killing me. Mom. He can't catch the ball. He's not producing. I just don't see, I don't see it this year. It's a disappointment to me. You know, it's three weeks in, the first week I gave him a pass. I think he had literally, he might have had a point. He might not have had a point at all. Right. And then week two, he didn't, he had that big week, you know. He definitely had a goose egg week one. I remember he had a puppy goose egg. He had that big two touchdown week two. And then last week he dropped. You know, three, four passes. He turned into fucking Clifford Franklin from places. Get that fucking stick him out and get going T. Higgins. Damn. But that's crazy his ADP was that high, man. Yeah. Yeah. And that's why he's the biggest disappointment. Like, can he turn it around? Did he have one good week? But for where he was going, where I drafted him, where a lot of people probably drafted him. Right. You know who else? I'm not giving you the value. No, I'm thinking about Drake London. Yeah. Is a disappointment. I forgot about them. Yeah. Right. Right. Easily forgot about. I mean, shit. Shout out to Bajon Robinson though. I was wrong on him. I didn't think he was going to be worth it. He is doing his thing. Definitely appropriate for the ADP. We're going to move on to guess the ADP. And if you guys want to play along with this next week, just comment below some players you want us to guess. And we'll get into it. So we're going to guess the ADP and try to guess where they are currently ranked. All right. I'm going to hit you with somebody we all know and love. Everybody is familiar with him. He's been doing this fantasy stuff for a while on a couple of our teams, I'm sure. We're going to go Deebo Samuels. Shout out to Deebo, man. And shout out to the people that every single year say Brandon Ayuk is going to emerge as the wide receiver one in San Francisco. I feel like it's literally like deja vu or some shit where it's like, yeah, I don't know about Deebo, man, because, you know, Brandon Ayuk is there. Listen, Brandon Ayuk is good, but he's more boom or bust than anything at this point. Oh, Deebo, he's getting decreased, rushing, da-da-da-da. Deebo fell way further than he should. I'm going to say early fourth round. Let's say 41st. Let's say he went like 41st. He was going a little bit earlier than that. He was going 35. Oh. He was going 35. Some people still remember, like I said, people still remember what Deebo was getting into. True. A couple huge seasons, a couple thousand yard seasons. Right. I think a couple, I shouldn't say a couple, I know he at least had one, I'm sure he had two if you count the rushing. I think he went there at 35, which I think is very, I think that's fair. I don't think he was getting blackballed. I think he went where he should have at that point. Yeah. Given the situation. He was a wide receiver 16th. Right. Of ADP. Okay. Okay. So they projected him to be the 16th, right? Yep. I think he cracked the top 10 right now, so I'm going to say that. I'm going to say Deebo is currently the 9th wide receiver in the league. You're one off. You're close. You're close. Which way? Up or down? 8th. Oh, I'm still sleeping on him. He's 8th. I'm still sleeping on him. He is 8th. Okay. You're good at those. I mean, but I feel like that was, he kind of went ADP where you would expect. Yeah, yeah. You know where he's at now after a big week? Yeah. I'm going to go with somebody that I know you were high on. I was not. Yeah. Not a fan of this guy. Yeah. James Conner. Ooh. Yeah, yeah. I got James Conner. I got James Conner. What was his ADP for draft time? I feel like I drafted him in the 5th or 6th round, and of course it all varies. There's so many variables. Are the quarterbacks going early? What's going on? Yeah. I don't know what it was about James Conner, but I was pretty high on him. On the strength that I'm going wide receiver early. So, I would guess James Cardinals. Because I'm thinking about Cardinals right now. Right? Shout out to the fucking Cardinals, man. Shout out to Josh Jobs and James Conner. Former Steelers. Steeler backups. Now, smacking around the Cowboys. Shout out to y'all. I would say James Conner's ADP, 59th. You're selling your boy too low. Oh my God. I'm selling him too low. You know, I thought he was just a touchdowner, and I was with you. Oh. I didn't think he should have even went when he did. Right. 51. Ooh. Running back 20. Ooh. I thought he was just a touchdowner. 20? 20. I didn't, you know. I think that's a little harsh. 20. I think 20 is harsh. I think that's harsh. I was putting him there. I was harsh. All right. Yeah. I thought he was just scoring these touchdowns. Yeah, yeah. The Cardinals just suck. You know, they're squeaking by some teams that weren't ready for him. Yeah. Yeah, I thought he'd be more like. I figured he'd be like 15 with like top 10 ups. I know his current rank only because I got him. It's nine. Yeah. Yeah. You're right. You're right. You're right. I know you have him. That's why I brought him up. I didn't fucking start him. You got to believe. You got to believe. We'll move on. We're going to do another running back. We're going to do another running back. This is just. You're probably going to know where he's at now. Right. But the thing is. Where did Raheem Mostert start ADT? A running back rank. Damn. Wow. Because he is the running back one right now. Yeah. Shout out to Raheem. Yeah, good for him. Because it wasn't even just that 40-something point game that he ended up in. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
