cared, if they truly loved that person or that job, they probably will start to feel a little remorse, a little sad, a little heartbroken, and in some instances, maybe even heartbroken. Let's take it a step further and not even focus on relationships or jobs. Do you remember the time when you woke up in the morning and you thanked God and you were happy to be blessed with another day? You were happy that you were able to get up and move and do what you need to do for that day, be it making breakfast, making coffee, if you're a family person, getting the kids ready for school, husband making breakfast, getting something set for your wife, wives making lunch for your husband. Remember those times? We get to a point to where when we go through our daily life and we get content, which is not a bad thing. As I learned last Sunday in church, contentment is not a bad thing, but we can talk about that on a later podcast. But we get settled. We get used to things being a certain way. And then we get lazy and we stop doing those things. And then when it's brought to your attention, you're like, eh, I don't care anymore. Or people just get lazy. And there's a lot of range of emotions and feelings and thought processes that go within that. Do you remember the time? I said this could be literally an all night conversation, but if you can look back on your life and look at the things that you've done that brought you happiness, that brought you laughter, that put a smile on your face. Do you remember the time? And what is wrong that if you get off course and stray a little bit and you're not doing the things that you did in the very beginning? I can understand if you're physically capable of not doing it. I can understand if you're mentally not capable of doing it, or emotionally not able to do it. There's understanding in that. But if you're physically capable, emotionally capable, mentally capable, and even in some instances financially capable, why not do what you did in the first place? Why not put in that effort, put in a little bit of work, put in a little bit of time to get back to where you were in the very beginning? Because you know they say the things that you do to get her, the things that you do to get him, are possibly the same things you have to do to keep them. But then again, it's all about remembering the time. And as we get older and we get more in tune with our relationships, whether it be intimate, whether it be with family, whether it be with friends, also understand that over time things will change. But what shouldn't change is the level of love, the level of happiness, the level of desire. It really shouldn't change. And if it does change, it should increase. It should increase. And it's hard sometimes to want to put in that effort. Because mentally you may not be there, physically you may not be there, emotionally you may not be there, financially you may not be there. But just sit back and remember the time, when. Now there's a few different things that you can look into that. Remember the time when we, Michael Jackson said, the best when we fell in love. Remember the time that we went on our first date. Remember the time that we were holding hands walking on the beach. Remember the first time we went to go see a movie together. Those were beautiful times. And if you're physically able, mentally able, emotionally able, let's try to get back to those times. Because sometimes you just got to close your eyes, close your mouth, and embrace all the beauty that surrounds you. I know the world is crazy. Oh goodness, we know the world is crazy. There's a lot of nonsense and BS going on in this world that honestly, there's things in this world that are out of our control. And I know people tend to stress about those things, but let's remember the time when things were good. Let's remember the time when things were peaceful. Let's remember the time when life was just great and wonderful. And when you remember those times, embrace them. Hold on to them. Recreate those times in your own space, in your own mind, in your own heart, in your own household. And be somebody that you haven't talked to in a while. Reach out just to say hello. If it's been a while since you've taken your significant other, your special loved one out on a dinner date, remember those times when you were able to do that and how much healthier and happier you are. She is, he is. Let's get back to those times. Let's get back to what makes us happy. Let's get back to what puts a smile on your face and puts a light in your eyes. I know I'm focusing a lot on relationships. Like I said, on life, people that I talk to, situations that I see and encounter, makes you want to remember the time when things were good, things were awesome, things were amazing. So let's not focus on the bad things of the past. Let's not focus on the bad things of the present. Let's not focus on the bad things in the future. Let's train our brains and let's train our hearts and our minds and our spirits to remember the time when things were all good and they were great and they were wonderful. Remember the time. Remember the time. Remember the time. Catch that vibe of you. I know there's people out there right now that are on vacation, traveling the world, with their significant other, with family, with friends, because they're creating memories. Two years from now, three years from now, you can go back in those times and simply just remember the time.
