How are you guys? I hope your day is exciting and enjoyable. Welcome to the Nilam Podcast with me, Nilam Falsadilla. The topic for today is me and the English department. In this podcast, I will talk about the reasons I joined in Polytechnic Negeri Padang and the things I learned while I was there. Okay, I will start. I will introduce myself first. My name is Nilam Falsadilla, usually called Nilam. But many people call me whatever they like, like Nil or Lam or Falsadilla and others. But just calling me Nilam is enough. I'm from Padang. I was born on January 15, 2004, which means I will soon be 20. My status is single. I live in Indaru, Mawar Street, housing number 11. Now, I am college level 2 at the Polytechnic Negeri Padang in English department. I joined the Polytechnic Negeri Padang in 2022. The reason I joined here is that I like studying communication science both directly and indirectly and want to study English. And also because the Polytechnic Negeri Padang provided a broadcasting major that is related to television and broadcasting media. Although initially Polytechnic Negeri Padang was not my first choice, but now I am happy and grateful, of course, to have joined here in Polytechnic Negeri Padang. During my time here, I have learned various things such as writing, speaking, listening, grammar, reading, translation, communication, digital media, and general subjects such as religion and citizenship. Here, I have also learned how to use a computer such as typing with 10 fingers and how to make various types of official letters such as proposals, reports, complaint letters, request letters, and sales letters. I also learned how to use Canva which is a video editing application to create posters, brochures, and etc. Another fun thing I learned was creating a blog, radio, and now as we all know, a podcast. I have learned many useful things at Polytechnic Negeri Padang. Joining here made me found my new self and discover new things that were very interesting and fun. Of course, I am really looking forward to other fun things on this campus. To you all guys, my listeners, I would like to thank you for listening to this podcast. I hope we can meet another time. See you! Thank you! Subbed by MariaPardosi
