The Magic School Bus is beneficial for classrooms because it combines education and magic, which engages students. For example, in the book "Magic School Bus on the Ocean Floor," the students learn about ocean creatures through a fictional story. Teachers can use these books to make topics easier to understand, especially if students are bored or struggling to grasp a concept. Strength number two of the Magic School Bus is that it can be used inside of classrooms. This means if students are bored inside of class, it talks about science and fiction, which means not only is it educational, it also talks about magic, which makes it a part of a fiction series, which is always engaging for kids. For example, on the Magic School Bus on the Ocean Floor, the first page is about how Ms. Frizzle is having the kids wrap up their ocean science fair projects, which is ultimately why they end up going inside the ocean and learning about the creatures. This can be useful for many teachers because they can play this for their classroom, especially if they notice there's a sense of boredom, so that children can see it from a cartoon perspective, which is always easier to understand. I can relate to this because when I was younger, I always liked pictures and cartoons because it was easier to retain the information. This is important because this is just an example of one book, but all of the novels of the Magic School Bus can be used inside of classrooms if a teacher notices that students can't grasp a topic as they should.
