The Golden State Warriors are struggling and Jonathan Kamenya wants to leave. The coach, Steve Kerr, is not giving young players like Kamenya a chance to grow, and instead playing veterans who are declining. Steph Curry is the only consistent player in the lineup. The Warriors have lost several games after holding significant leads. Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins are underperforming. Moses Moody and Brandon Podzewski deserve more playing time. Possible trade destinations for Kamenya are the Toronto Raptors and the Atlanta Hawks. Yo what's good y'all it's Jono back from Top Boss Central here and in today's video we're going to be going over the Golden State Warriors and how they're currently falling apart and Jonathan Kamenya currently wants to leave right now so I got some trade destinations towards the end of this video so stick around for that and let's get right into it y'all. So Golden State just last night barely held on to a victory against the Detroit Pistons and blew an 18 point lead against the Denver Nuggets just the other night and in that game they blew the fourth quarter lead against the Nuggets they blew it all in the fourth quarter which was terrible and Jokic literally hit a buzzer beater which was probably one of the most insane buzzer beaters of the year and all this mess starts off with their coach Steve Kerr. So Steve Kerr has been playing most of the veterans and it doesn't seem like he believes in his young talent and he's just not giving them that chance to grow and it's just not right honestly it's not helping them win games and for example like versus the Denver Nuggets in the fourth quarter when that lead was getting blown he didn't sub in Jonathan Kamenya at all and he just ran with that same rotation that he had in but he did make like a substitution towards the end but he still didn't put Jonathan Kamenya in the game and is this overall system is failing to adapt because he's over here playing you know veterans that are starting to decline and not giving these excelling young players any time and all he's doing now is just sending a message that hard work will not be rewarded with chances and production during limited opportunities will not be rewarded with more minutes and there's just no consistency to the rotation or to the roles and responsibilities of young players who need that clarity and just deserve that overall playing time and I think Steve Kerr just needs to learn that nothing can last forever and that's just obvious especially with the decline of like Klay Thompson and Draymond Green getting the suspension for the we don't even know how long and really the only guy staying consistent really in this lineup is Steph Curry. Steph Curry's had to watch this whole team fall down and crash as he's been averaging 27.7 points a game on 41% shooting from the three he's been attacked on defense more than he ever really has since he was really a young player and he's asked to carry this offense without any support and it just really sucks because Curry can't keep doing this and he's just really the only consistent player in this whole lineup that they have running right now for the starting rotation and this is honestly crazy because the Warriors have already done it four times this season where they have lost a game by leading by at least 18 points or more in that game and one of the tough losses for like instance is versus the Sacramento Kings who they played late in November which the Golden State Warriors gave up a 24 point lead and then just a few games later they blew a 22 point lead in a loss to the Clippers and yeah man just something has to change with this team because this is obviously not the same Warriors team or the dynasty that we know it as being I mean things have changed obviously like Klay Thompson like I said he's on a downfall right now he he had some solid games this season where he was consistent you know back to back but here recently he hasn't been the best for sure and he's just obviously not that old Klay Thompson that we all know and love and this Golden State team's whole rotation is just all messed up I mean you got guys like Andrew Wiggins who are just playing random minutes every night I mean honestly Andrew Wiggins I don't think is the same either he's been on a downfall as well because for instance just last night he played in 19 minutes only put up three points two rebounds and two assists that's just not Andrew Wiggins that we saw literally just like a season ago and to make matters worse Chris Paul has to undergo hand surgery so that's going to take some time for him to get back as well which CP3 is currently averaging nine points a game on 7.2 assists at about four rebounds as well he's shooting 42.4 percent from the field but it definitely sucks to see him out and we don't have no timeable timeable return for when he's going to come back now going back into another guy that I believe deserves a bigger role for this team is Moses Moody I believe Moses Moody deserves more minutes he's not getting near enough minutes that I think he deserves he's currently averaging 17 minutes per game eight points three point three point one rebounds and he's currently shooting 47.2 percent from the field and news is spread all around that he is frustrated with the lack of the role and consistency and he's just very frustrated currently at the moment such as Jonathan Kuminga is as well and they just both believe that they do deserve to earn a consistent spot on this team and real quick I want to talk about a guy that I believe has been pretty solid for them so far this season and has been a plus for them which is Brandon Podzewski and I believe that he does deserve a higher workload and I think he's going to get that now with Chris Paul being injured and he's just been pretty solid overall this season especially compared to this whole rookie class I would say he's definitely in the top 10 which he's been averaging currently this season 9.3 points per game 5.3 rebounds and 3.2 assist while also getting a steal and he's been shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 44.1 percent from three he's just been another solid young piece that they did add from this draft I believe that he could be nice and has a good future but enough on him honestly with this Warriors team I just think that they have too many veterans that are underperforming and that they do need to play Kaminga and Moses Moody just a little bit more at least because Klay and Andrew Wiggins are just underperforming for most of the season and they have been which I've said plenty of times in this video that they deserve some more minutes just because of this and now I kind of want to dive into some of the trades that I believe that the Warriors can make to kind of get Jonathan Kaminga out of there because he is frustrated with his team and now I know that Steve Kerr did come out and say last night that Jonathan Kaminga should play more minutes it just seems like he said that before and he's just been inconsistent with it like some nights he'll give him 34 minutes and then the next night he'll give him 17 so honestly I just believe that he should try to find a new destination to go to unless you know he starts getting more and more minutes and it becomes more consistent throughout the season but yeah let's just dive right into this trade real quick now with this first trade I got Jonathan Kaminga going over to the Raptors in a deal with him Andrew Wiggins and Gary Payton II in a 2026 second round pick for Pascal Siakam now the Raptors have already proved that they want to kind of you know fix this team and rebuild it so I believe that this trade would be perfect which their new lineup would consist of Emmanuel Quigley, RJ Barrett, Scottie Barnes, and Kaminga and also Jacob Pottle which would make that starting five loaded with some youth athleticism and just overall potential that I feel like they're trying to chase right now and it would just give them some time to figure out which pieces would fit next to Scottie Barnes or fit best with them over the next couple seasons and I feel like this deal would work out perfectly even for the Warriors as well because they would be getting the forward that I feel like they need right now just the overall big to add to their team this man's averaging 22.3 a game 6.5 rebounds and 5 assists while shooting 52.1% from the field and I just feel like this trade would work out for both teams obviously and one other trade destination is him going over to the Atlanta Hawks also paired with Andrew Wiggins to go for Clint Capella and AJ Griffin which I feel like this deal would work out nice as well because you already got Onyeka Okonwu who is a solid you know young center that I feel like could be on the rise as well and if you guys got any other trade destinations for Jonathan Kaminga let me know down below in the comments and if you guys enjoyed this video make sure to like and subscribe and turn on post notifications and I'll see y'all in the next one I'm out
