Now, a lot of glutes aren't just about aesthetics. Nowadays, all we see is women with really large glutes, butt implants, or BBLs. However, they play a vital role in your overall strength and your posture. So here are three killer exercises to scope those glutes, ladies. One at the top of our list is squats, the ultimate glute builder. Begin with feet shoulder-width apart, chest up, back straight, lower yourself as if sitting into a chair. Keep knees aligned with your toes, push through your heels to return, aim for three sets, 10 to 12 reps. Number two is lunges. Lunges are fantastic for targeting glutes. Step one foot forward into a lunge, bend both knees at 90 degree angles, then push off the front heel to return. Three sets of 12 to 15 reps per leg. Ladies, be warned, these are killer. However, they will build very strong glutes, very strong hamstrings, and very strong quads. Lastly is glute bridges. So what you're going to do is you're going to lie on your back, knees bent, feet flat. Lift your hips by squeezing your glutes, creating a straight line from your shoulders to your knees. You're going to hold that position for a second, then lower. Make sure you're really, really aiming to squeeze those glutes as hard as you can. You're going to aim for three sets of 15 to 20 reps. Now, by the end of this, your glutes should be screaming for mercy, which at that point, you know that you've really worked them. Work these exercises into your routine three times a week.
