Look forward to travelling abroad by air. Shake a deep breath in now and be with me, Naomi Bennett from Leading Light. Closing your eyes can help you to go into hypnosis. You can close your eyes whenever you are ready. And become aware of your breathing, that gentle rise and fall that happens all by itself. Now as you breathe in, enjoy that feeling of the air filling your lungs. And as you release that air back out again, you can begin to relax deeper. And I don't know when you will notice your breathing getting slower and more relaxed. It could be now or it could be in a moment or two. But you can just enjoy that feeling and know that you are relaxing more deeply, more comfortably and more effectively after each breath leaves your body. Just let go. This is your time, your time to do absolutely nothing. Enjoy this moment and you don't even have to listen to my voice. Your subconscious mind can do everything for you and your conscious mind can just be wherever it wishes. And as you focus all your attention on relaxing every muscle in your body, you can enjoy that feeling. And as you do, you can go deeper and deeper and deeper into a wonderful, relaxing and comforting trance. Because the deeper you go, the better you'll feel. And the better you feel, the deeper you'll go. You may become aware that one hand feels different from the other. Perhaps it tingles. Some people have a feeling of warmth in that hand. It may feel light and floaty. Notice how that can absorb you even deeper into total enjoyable and comforting relaxation. By letting go, you can go deeper into comfortable, relaxing, tranquil hypnosis. That's good. I wonder if you've noticed yet that these wonderful feelings can happen all by themselves. It's as if your mind and body know precisely what to do to take you deeper and deeper into a relaxing, calming and a comforting place. And as my voice goes with you, place your attention on the top of your head. You already know how to relax those muscles up there from time and past. Perhaps just before you fall asleep at night. Just let them go. Relax those muscles and feel how good that is. Now focus your attention on those eyelids. That feeling of heaviness that makes those eyelids feel so relaxed. So very comfortable. So comfortable and heavy that they just remain closed all by themselves. Enjoy that heaviness now. Direct your attention to those muscles around the eyes and just let them relax. Like an ice cream melting on a summer afternoon. Melting away in totally relaxing, comfortable tranquility. Feel that comfort and relaxation spreading down into your jaw. Notice how it feels as it moves down into those shoulders. Every muscle in the shoulders relaxing. And each breath out helps the shoulders to release all that tension. And now that comfort is spreading down your arms. And I don't know which arm will feel the changes first. But you can just enjoy that feeling as the relaxation flows into the hands. And into each finger one at a time. Now focus that attention on those large muscles in your back. Let that relaxation flow into those large muscles. And as it flows down your back, it makes its way into the legs. Each leg relaxing and becoming heavy and comfortable. Like sinking into a large comfortable bed. And as my voice goes with you, enjoy that feeling of comfort and relaxation flow into your feet. And down to the toes. Bathe in that wonderful feeling of relaxation that just seems to happen all by itself. And know that you can feel this way any time you want. I'd like you now to imagine you're stood at the top of an escalator. And there are 10 steps on this escalator. And in a moment, I will count down from 10 to 1. And when I count 10, you'll step on that escalator. And each time I count down a number, you'll go deeper and deeper down on that escalator. And deeper down you go, the closer you will become to total comforting relaxation. And so 10, step on that escalator and hold onto the handrail. Just enjoy the ride down. 9, going deeper. 8, 7, 6, down deeper. 5, halfway now to most comfortable, tranquil and healing relaxation. 4, 3, almost there. 2, enjoy that feeling. 1, now step off and just enjoy that moment. That wonderful feeling that is all yours to enjoy. I'd like to speak with your subconscious mind now. And so your conscious mind can just float off to wherever it wishes to be. It doesn't need to be here and it doesn't need to listen. It can just enjoy this relaxed, calming experience all by itself. I want to speak with your subconscious mind about those times when you're going to fly off on an aeroplane. Because next time you fly, you will become aware of how relaxed and calm you feel about the experience. So relaxed that you can truly enjoy the process. The days or weeks leading up to the flight can be a truly exciting and enjoyable time. A time that fills you with a wonderful feeling of expectation and excitement. Your subconscious knows how safe and calm you'll be. And it can use its wonderful powers to help you enjoy enjoying that. It knows how much pleasure you'll receive from enjoying the entire experience. Every element of the experience from buying the ticket to packing your case can be such an enjoyable time. So much fun and excitement will fill your every hour. Because your subconscious knows how to make you feel this way. And how to provide you with such a calming, relaxing and safe experience. You can just relax and enjoy your time. Arriving at the airport will continue this wonderful feeling. As you look forward to the journey and everything that it will bring. You are safe, you're excited and you're a confident flyer. I'd like you to see yourself now happier than you have ever been. More relaxed, more confident than you've ever been. Notice how you look. Are you smiling? Are you laughing? Notice how relaxed you look. How happy you look. How totally excited you look. I want you to make this picture of yourself bright and colorful. Like you're watching yourself from above. You look so happy and relaxed, don't you? So confident. Now I'd like you to imagine that same confident, happy self at the airport. Waiting to fly off on that wonderful trip. Who is with you? See them there with you. Notice how excited you are. How confident you are. You are having such a wonderful time. Keep seeing yourself as if you are watching from above. Now imagine they are calling your flight. You feel fantastic, happy and confident. All that planning you have done and now the time has come. You feel so good, so confident, so excited about your flight. Imagine boarding the plane now. Taking your seat. Notice how happy you look. How relaxed you look. You're so confident. You are a confident flyer. You are a calm flyer. You are a happy and content flyer. As you watch your calm, happy, confident self, the plane begins to taxi down the runway for takeoff. Enjoy that feeling as the plane pulls away. See yourself enjoying that. See that smile on your face. See how confident you look. See how safe you are. Make that picture bright. Make that picture vivid and enjoy watching your calm, confident self enjoying that experience. And now the plane is in the air. You can kick off your shoes and look forward to the wonderful time and experiences you will have when you reach your destination. Enjoy watching yourself for a moment. I'd like you now to pause that picture and rewind it back to when you first purchased the ticket. And as you look down at yourself buying that ticket to fly, I want you to float down from your viewing point into yourself. Now I want you to go forward again, but this time seeing and enjoying those wonderful feelings of excitement and confidence about your trip from your eyes. See how confident and happy you are packing those cases and preparing for that flight. See yourself arriving at the airport. Notice how good you feel, how excited and happy you are. Now boarding that plane with that feeling of confidence, calmness and with that warm, comfortable feeling of happiness and excitement. Enjoy that feeling of total ease and safety as the plane taxis along the runway. And now as the plane takes off, you can just enjoy that moment that all that planning has brought. You feel wonderful. Enjoy noticing that feeling of how wonderful you feel, how confident you feel, how totally at ease you feel. You are a confident, relaxed flyer and always will be. So as my voice goes with you, I want you to sit back, relax and enjoy the flight. The next time you hear my voice, just go with your feelings of happiness and confident relaxation.
