An invitation to live out God's abundant life through Jesus Christ!

00:00-07:42

God has given us the greatest opportunity to become a part of something so big, our own minds at this moment cannot comprehend. God's extended invitation to live out an abundant life through Jesus was, is and will always be Gods way of saying to all the human race, "just as I live so my son Jesus lives to make intercession for those who will inherit salvation!" this invitation is you and I. Don't let this opportunity of receiving the gift of salvation slip away. Seek the Lord and His mercy!

Good morning everyone. Sister Melissa here. It is 10 a.m. on June 27, 2023. I hope everyone is having an amazing day in the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, in Jesus Christ. Because it is only in Jesus that we can find victory. We can find joy. We can find hope. We can find happiness. Even in the tough times, we can still rest assured that God is with us. And today I am going to be reading from the book of Isaiah, chapter 55. I'm going to be reading verses 6, 10, 11, and 12. And the word of God reads like this. Seek the Lord while he may be found. Call upon him while he is near. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater. So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth. It shall not return to me voice, but it shall accomplish what I please. And it shall prosper in the things for which I sent it. For you shall go forth with joy and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you. And all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands. This is an amazing promise from God that when we seek God and we seek him while he can be found. Yes, we are in the day and age where the Holy Spirit is among us. The Holy Spirit is breathing on us. The Holy Spirit is surrounding us. But the only way that we will recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit, the voice of God speaking into our inner man or our inner being is when we seek the Lord while he can be found. He is telling us while he can be found which means that there is going to come a time where you are going to want to seek God and you won't be able to be found. Why? Because this is the time of salvation. Jesus Christ on the cross defeated Satan and he defeated death. He defeated the grave and because of that salvation has been brought forth for each and every single one of us to now place our faith in the one who conquered it all and his name is Jesus. So the word of God is telling us seek the Lord while he may be found. Call upon his name while he is near. God is near to the broken hearted. As a matter of fact the Bible says that he will never reject a humble heart and a contrite spirit. And the very same way that the rain comes down, have you ever seen the rain go up in reverse back into the clouds? Absolutely not. Because once that rain comes down it's down and it comes to the earth to water the earth and whatever is underneath the earth eventually will be made manifest when it comes up to the surface. That is just like you and I. When we pour out our tears to the creator and we pray in Jesus name every single promise that God has spoken over our lives will come to pass. But we have to believe and we have to maintain our relationship with the creator through Jesus Christ. We must pray every single day. We must obtain a personal and intimate relationship with God through the blood of Jesus and it's the Holy Spirit that enables us to do all of this. Why? Because God's promises are real and when Jesus died on the cross and was placed in the tomb and was raised on the third day, the same spirit that raised up Jesus, the Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is the same spirit that when we allow Jesus to come into our hearts and he takes up residency within our hearts, then we too have that same resurrection power to believe that whatever God has spoken over our lives, whatever dream you think has gone away, whatever you think was destroyed, the power of the Holy Spirit will resurrect it. But we must seek him diligently and we must confess our sins and we must believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord and Savior above all and trust and believe, not in me, not in the words that I'm speaking, but in the words of the Holy Spirit, in the word of God, that everything that is meant to occur in your life, to bring you towards your destiny, will occur and you will reap the amazing harvest of knowing who God is because he is faithful, he is true, and he is beyond all those things. I pray that this has blessed you. Until the next time, bye bye for now. For more information visit www.fema.org
