Before working on the bearings, make sure the mill charge is stable and isolate the drivetrain and hydraulic systems according to safety requirements. You don't need external jacking cradles and can keep the mill charge inside during the process. Ensure safe access to the mill and bearing houses and clean the maintenance panels and surrounding areas to prevent contamination. Remove the maintenance panels to access the hydrostatic bearings and hydraulic jack inside the housing. Before beginning work on the bearings, make sure the mill charge is stable and that the drivetrain and hydraulic systems are isolated according to site-specific safety requirements. External jacking cradles are not needed for the barrel removing process and the mill charge can remain inside the mill during work on the bearings. Prepare safe access to the mill and bearing houses and clean the maintenance panels and surrounding areas to prevent contamination from entering the housing. Remove the maintenance panels to access the hydrostatic bearings and the hydraulic jack located inside the housing.
