Before working on the bearings, make sure the mill charge is stable and isolate the drivetrain and hydraulic systems according to safety requirements. You don't need external jacking cradles and can keep the mill charge inside during the process. Ensure safe access to the mill and bearing houses and clean the maintenance panels and surrounding areas to prevent contamination. Remove the maintenance panels to access the hydrostatic bearings and hydraulic jack inside the housing.
