Nothing to say, yet
In this podcast episode, Matthew discusses the topic of space exploration with guest interviewer Noah. They talk about the potential benefits of asteroid mining, such as making space travel cheaper and stopping resource wars. They also mention how studying space can help us learn more about the universe and ourselves. Matthew believes that we can overcome the obstacles to space exploration, as we have been mastering them for decades and continue to make advances in technology. Funding for space travel can come from the lucrative market in tourism and asteroid mining, as well as from individuals like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. The episode concludes with the reminder that the exploration of space is inevitable, so we should start sooner rather than later. Welcome Muslims, I'm Matthew and welcome to my podcast where I discuss controversial topics with a guest interviewer. If you remember, last time we discussed the housing crisis, go see that if you haven't already. Today's topic is space exploration, one of my favorites. Even though space exploration is a long and costly endeavor, humanity needs to take the first step and we'll have access to so many new possibilities. Today, our guest interviewer is Noah, coming all the way from the studio. Noah also has a podcast on biofuels. Make sure to check his out as well. Thank you Noah for coming all this way. How do you feel? Let's get started, shall we? What are your exquisitely crafted questions? I'm glad you asked. We can procure these resources via asteroid mining. Asteroid mining is a long theorized concept that seems very promising. We can increase prices, make space travel cheaper, and stop resource wars, allowing peace and prosperity to thrive, and generally increasing living standards worldwide. What conclusions can you draw from the quote, humanity's next great evolution? Throughout millennia, humanity adapted to its environment. With the introduction of technology, we have access to new possibilities to explore and grow from. What judgments could be made about studying space? Studying space can help us learn more about the universe and maybe about ourselves in the process. Astronomy can also give us insight into ancient events that could reshape our laws of gravity, energy, etc. How could you prove we can overcome the obstacles to this journey? To put it simply, the obstacles to space exploration are not new. We've been mastering them for six decades now. Another thing is that we are still making advances in aeronautics and fusion energy that could help us with some of our current roadblocks, allowing us to travel further, faster, and most importantly, cheaper. Why do you think someone would fund space travel? Space can be a lucrative market. There are many opportunities in tourism and asteroid mining, as mentioned before. Something else to note is that Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are already funding space travel with SpaceX and Blue Origin respectively. There's also a chance that the UN decides that space isn't necessary or someone else makes the play. Well, that's all for today, folks. Thanks to you for tuning in. And thank you, Noah, for making an appearance. With all of that, remember that the exploration of space is inevitable. So, with that in mind, we should start sooner rather than later. Cheers.
