Maria Molina, a student of social communication, shares her opinion about superstitions in Colombia. She mentions various superstitions like bad luck from passing under a ladder or looking at a broken mirror. She personally doesn't believe in them and finds them unreal and unpleasant. In December, these practices are more common, but she doesn't like them. A popular superstition in Colombia is that leaving with a suitcase at midnight on December 31 will result in traveling all year long, but Maria thinks it's false. She believes that waking up at midnight on December 31 will only give you a cold. Best regards, my name is Maria Molina, a student of social communication. In this audio, I share my opinion about superstition in my country, Colombia. In Colombia, there are many superstitions. For example, if you pass under a ladder, you will have a bad look. If you look at a broken mirror, you will have seven years of bad look. If you get up on the wrong foot, you will have a bad day. If you get married on Thursday, the 30th, you will have a bad day and others. In my opinion, I don't believe in this. I know it is unreal, unpleasant. At the time of December, these practices are more recurrent, but I don't like. A very popular superstition in Colombia is that if you left on December 31 at midnight with your suitcase, you will travel all year long. Last year, my aunt and uncle visited me and did this practice. The next day, they got up early and left the house for the airport. I brought up the subject of superstition, but they didn't believe me. For me, this is false. In my opinion, I will say, if you got up on December 31 at midnight, you will wake up with a cold. Thanks for your attention.
