In this episode of the Mirror of Tales, George Antonakopoulos discusses the book "Last Battle" from the Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis. George's favorite character is Puzzle, the talking donkey. He enjoyed the part where Aslan made the stars fall and brought hope. However, he didn't like the long exposition and excessive detail. Overall, George gives the book a 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommends it. C.S. Lewis encouraged readers to imagine further Narnian tales. Hello guys, I'm George Antonakopoulos, and welcome back to another episode of the Mirror of Tales. This week's episode is possibly the best yet on this channel. We're going to be talking about an extraordinary book, Last Battle, the seventh book of the Chronicles of Narnia, written by Sirius Lewis, which I'm sure that it will make everyone's day. We're going to do a quick dive into the summary of the book, my personal favorite character, things I enjoyed and things I did not, then I'll give you a review at the end, so stay tuned for that. So let's get into it. To begin with, what is the book about? Last Battle tells the story of the last war of Narnia, when King Tirion and his loyal followers fight the color-minded Baelish and their allies. As Narnia comes to an end, Aslan appears, as he always does, bringing all the creatures back from the dead, introducing the beginning of a new adventure in Aslan's real country. As seen previously, each book of the Chronicles of Narnia could not be possible without the help of, you guessed it, humans. Joan Eustace entered Narnia to free King Tirion, assist the rescue of his unicorn, Jules, seize Puzzle, and help to free a band of dwarves. Their courage is commendable throughout the book and can be seen right up to the end. Now, we'll discuss my favorite character. I like, of course, all the good characters. However, my favorite, without doubt, is Puzzle, the donkey. Firstly, he's a talking donkey, with a kind heart. He is a little dense and, decently tricked by his friend, Ship the Ape. Puzzle poses as Aslan in his skin, but later regrets it and is forgiven. At the end, he goes on to join the Narnians and eventually joins them all in Aslan's country. There are lots of aspects that I really enjoyed about this book. Mostly, I liked the part of the story where Aslan made the stars fall from the sky on Narnia and many Narnian creatures merged for hope. Initially, the book made me feel slightly overwhelmed, but as I got more into the book, it started to give me a lot of joy and fascination. It brought me hope. Though I really liked the book, there were definitely some factors I didn't enjoy that much. I disliked exposition because it was very long and, for a moment, it lost its interest. I think that the book went into much detail on irrelevant things, such as the planning. Finally, the part where I'm sure you've all been waiting for, my review of the book. I gave this book a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars, which is quite a high score, but I say it all well deserved. It was a very easy read. Everything was clear and straightforward. It had rich vocabulary, the use of imagery was strong, and I found it easy to imagine the characters as they were in the book. It contains both fictional and human characters, making for a more enjoyable read. It shows that there is a solution to every problem and that the good guys will always win. I would definitely recommend the book to a friend and to you guys, of course. Although C.S. Lewis had no plans to write the next Narnian novel, he kept the door open for readers to imagine further tales. In response to letters from children, C.S.
