In this transcription, the speaker discusses a poem called "The Cry of a Reed Flute" by the poet Rumi. The poem explores deep philosophical questions about the nature of existence and suffering. The story tells of a reed flute that is detached from its origin, causing it to cry. However, when the reed empties itself and allows a musician to blow air into it, it produces beautiful music, fulfilling its purpose. The story teaches us that to avoid suffering, we must let go of our ego, negative thoughts, and temperaments, and become pure. By doing so, we can merge with the divine and fulfill our life's purpose. The speaker hopes that the audience appreciates the story and is blessed by the divine. be blessed by the divine. I recently have come across this poem the cry of a reed flute written by a very famous poet Rumi who lived in 13th century. The original meaning of this poem says what is Brahma what is the eternal space what is the source and who we are and why we suffer and how not to suffer and how to go back to the origin and that is our life's purpose. The story goes like this a portion of a reed is cut from the reed plant that is the bamboo plant the reed cried because it was detached from its origin but when the reed emptied itself by cutting down both the ends and let the musician blow air into it then it becomes a beautiful music and that was its purpose. What this story tells us is we are born from the eternal space the divine as a soul and when we live we suffer we cry how not to suffer just empty yourself from ego lose your identity clear all your negative thoughts clear all your six temperaments and be become pure and this will take you or this will allow you to merge with the divine. I hope you all liked this story and be blessed by the divine
