SEO is important for optimizing web page content. Use one to two search terms per page and place them in the title tag, meta tags, first paragraph, and links. Use keywords to describe services. Corporate copy should use business jargon and be clear. Delivery should be straightforward for understanding. One of the most important aspects of Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, is optimizing your page content. Optimizing simply means putting the keywords you've selected into your web pages in the right places with the right formatting. The first thing to understand is that you should only use one to two search terms to optimize each page. Once you've selected a page to optimize and the search terms you are going to use, all you have to do is put those words in the right places of the HTML code and you're done. Where do the search terms go? One, your page's title tag. Two, your keywords and description meta tags. Three, in the first paragraph of body text. Or four, in the text of any links that point to the page. If you need ideas for words that you can use to describe your services, view our list of keywords. So, the corporate copy was all about hitting the keywords. SEO, HTML, meta tags. It was all about identifying the important business jargon and using the words around it to make it make sense. Or, if there wasn't anything around it to make it make sense, then to just go with the flow like it makes sense. In my analysis for the copy, I simply tried to make it as clear as possible what I was trying to communicate. I used an even inflection and just very, very straightforward delivery. I inserted a couple words into the script to make it sound a little bit more natural, a little bit more conversational. But, ultimately, I think the delivery I went with is suitable for something like this. You can get a little bit more creative and zesty with it if you'd like. But, at the end of the day, what's important is for these things to be understood. And, if the narrator is going all over the place with their tone and inflection, people might get a little lost in it. And, I feel like going straight to the point with these sort of corporate voice projects is really what you're aiming for. Unless they specifically request something poppy.
