This is a podcast called Radio Free Iowa, hosted by Scarecrow. It's unique because there is no specific topic, and it focuses on Scarecrow's experiences and interests. The term "Radio Free" was used by intelligence agencies to deliver news in countries with controlled media. Scarecrow got the idea from another podcast called How Embraces Suck, which interviews veterans. Scarecrow also listens to podcasts about true crime and Jocko Willink, a former Navy SEAL. New episodes of Radio Free Iowa come out on Sundays or Mondays. Hello and welcome to a brand new podcast called Radio Free Iowa. My name is Scarecrow and I will be your host. This is not your typical podcast because for one, there is no essential topic and two, it looks into my life as how I see things. One of the interesting things I've found on the internet, experiences that have happened to me or something I enjoy. Now my name is not actually Scarecrow. Even though it is an interesting name, it'd be extremely weird to have my parents give me the name Scarecrow, but I guess there are worse names a parent could give a child. The idea of a Scarecrow is to protect farmers' crops from unwanted birds, but the Scarecrow also watches and observes its surroundings. I will talk about everything from my experiences of moving, to my favorite things in life, to in-depth book reviews, and whatever else comes to mind. Now if you've never heard the term Radio Free, you're probably not alone. The term Radio Free was used by government intelligence agencies to help deliver news and other information to allies that live in countries where the current government has a stronghold on the media. I was given the idea by another podcast called How Embraces Suck, the host interviews veterans on their military life and life experiences. If you're a veteran and interested in telling your story, I suggest you reach out to the host because he's always looking for veterans to have on his show. The other podcasts I listen to are morbid. The ladies tell true life stories of the dark side of life, i.e. serial killers, witch trials, cults, and other interesting topics. The other podcast is the Jocko Willink podcast. Jocko is a former Navy SEAL who I count as a mentor because he has helped me live a better life and got me started in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. You can find his podcast on YouTube and Spotify. He also does Jocko Underground, which you have to pay to listen to, but I know the price of admission is worth it. Episodes for this podcast will drop on Sunday or Monday, unless noted. Thanks for listening. Once again, my name is Scarecrow, and this has been Radio Free Iowa.
