Revelation of Jesus Christ in the book of Revelation 1: 1, 2 and persecutions of the Christians John Wycliff, William Tyndale and ,,,,
The book of Revelation is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, given by God to John. John is the writer, but Jesus is the true author. Jesus revealed everything to John through an angel. The foundation of Christianity is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. His blood redeemed humanity and gives hope for eternal life. Jesus is the mediator between God and humans, and there is no other way to salvation. After his resurrection, Jesus appeared to many people and taught them about the kingdom of God. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, with all power to fulfill God's plan for the end of the world. Jesus and God the Father are distinct but united in purpose. Jesus is submissive and subordinate to his father. Jesus is not God the Father, but he worships and honors him. It is important to stay connected to Jesus because he is the hope of humanity. The relationship between God and Jesus is one of deep love and obedience. Brothers and sisters, as you know, the book of Revelation is the book, the eschatologic, is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Let's consider first Revelation chapter 1, first Revelation verse 1, the Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave unto him to show unto his servant the event which must soon take place and which he made known by sending his angel to his servant John. Let us see who is the actual author as we can imagine every other book in the Bible has an author. By example, Matthew is the author of this book. You see John is the author and Luke and you see a lot of them have an author. But for the book of Revelation it is different. For the book of Revelation, even though Apostle John has the dream, he was the one who wrote every words but he is not the true author. He is just the writer but the true author of this book of Revelation is Jesus Christ himself because he is the one who revealed everything. It is not the thoughts of John, the personal thoughts of John or what he has seen and then he wants to testify about it but the true author of this book is Jesus Christ. This is the reason it is called Revelation of Jesus Christ. Jesus learns all the details about the event to come from God himself and will use an angel to communicate in the form of vision and symbolic representation with John. God, Jesus will reveal all of this to John and then how could Jesus transmit the prophetic and then we know that Jesus Christ was crucified in 33rd and the prophecy, the book of Revelation to John revealed in 96 but when we know that. But the death of Jesus Christ as we know it is the foundation of Christianity and the Christianity foundation is the death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection. It is indeed the blood shed by Christ which redeemed human washing to submit to God and which gives them the assurance of obtaining eternal life. There is no eternal life without Jesus Christ, without his blood and to have hope for the hope of humanity to come from Jesus Christ's death in the Calvary. When we read Matthew chapter 26 verse 28 it said this is my birth by which the covenant is sealed. It is going to be shed for many men that their sins may be forgiven. There is no forgiving of sins without the blood of Jesus Christ. That's why in the previous time they had to sacrifice animals, blemish animals, sheep, a ram. Any kind but the few animals they have to sacrifice for the sins of humankind. And first Timothy 2 verse 4 to 6 said for he wills all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth for there is one God and likewise also one mediator between God and men. One man Jesus Christ he offer his life as a ransom for all. He offer his life as a ransom for all. This is the will of God. The will of God he want all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of truth. Unfortunately today God still have this desire but the men, the human do not want to have to come, want to come to the knowledge of the truth. But we have only one mediator. There is no other one. No other way. There is no one can intervene in favor of human being before God only Jesus Christ. That's why he is our mediator. He intercedes for us every time that we have done wrong we come to Jesus. He is a book to clean us, to give us a new beginning. And then he was crucified and resurrected after three days and according to Matthew chapter 12 verse 40 and in the rising Jesus Christ first appeared to some women Mary Magdala and other women who were mourning his death. They are crying, they are weeping, they are mourning his death which again shows the consideration he had for people, for women. For 40 days his apostles and many disciples were able to rub shoulders with Jesus and receive his life's instruction from him. But Jesus after he resurrected and then he went to heaven because he said that to the women when Mary saw him he said my Lord and then Jesus Christ said do not touch me because I do not yet go into my father. Do not touch me and then go tell my disciples that I am resurrected the place that I will meet with them. In Matthew 28 verse 1 to 7 he said after the sabbath at dawn on Sunday Mary Magdala and the other Mary went to see the tomb. Suddenly there was a great earthquake for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and wore away the stone from before the opening and sat on it. He looked like lightning and his clothing was white as snow. The gods trembled with fear and became as his death. But the angel spoke up to and said to the woman as for you do not be afraid for I know that you are looking for Jesus the one who was crucified. He is not here for he is risen as he said come and see the place where the Lord lay and go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen. But it is great news for humanity at this moment. At this moment there is no condemnation for humanity because Jesus Christ did not stay on the pit he was resurrected. He was in the tomb he resurrected and I have hope you have hope the woman can testify that at this moment he did not see the dead laying in the tomb. But you see the lightning and Joe sit down on the rock and he has to give them message for the disciples. In 1 Corinthians 15 verse 3 to 7 it says Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. He was buried and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures then he appeared to Cephas then to the twelve. After that he appeared to over 500 brothers and sisters at once most of whom are still alive and a few of whom are dead then he appeared to them then to all the apostles. In Acts chapter 1 verse 3 it says after he suffered he presented himself to them alive and gave them many proofs for 40 days he appeared to them and spoke concerning the kingdom of God. But brothers and sisters what we can imagine at this moment Jesus Christ we know that Jesus Christ was dead nobody can deny the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is the reason he passed he gave them a proof he passed 40 days with them speak to them and then teach them the life of Jesus Christ and teach them and he talked to them about the kingdom of God. We know at this moment one kingdom dominate but he want to let them know this kingdom not going to stay for eternity but he will establish his kingdom the kingdom of God will establish. At this moment he seal this contract he seal the hope of all his disciples he tell them straight fast because the kingdom of God will establish very soon. Once ascended to heaven Jesus sat at the right hand of God who entrust him with all power and communicate to him the last important points concerning the end of this world. And then in the book of Revelation after Jesus Christ ascended to heaven he received from his father he sat down he sat down at the right hand of God who entrust him with all power and communicate to him the last important the last crucial points concerning the end of this world the end of time when we read Matthew 24 verse 36 28 verse 18 and Revelation 1 1 that's why this book this verse that we are analyzed right now. The rising Jesus Christ was aside a mission of the utmost importance. The resurrection of Jesus Christ marks the beginning of a certain hope for all Christians and of the expectation of the messianic reign. Jesus Christ will reign in the name of his father he will reign in the name of his father on the earth until the ideal condition of eternal life and peace are restored there. Right now we can say that there is no peace there is no joy there is no security in this world as we can hear when human beings when the government when all the power in this world say peace ensues. And then a ruling should come they cannot give peace but Jesus Christ will indeed a condition of this earth will establish whoever we are wherever we live we all have to the same origin. When we say you are white the other will say that they are black and we have division we have war between us you can say you are rich and the other say we are poor the other can say I'm good but the other say I'm bad. Often we know whoever we are wherever we live we all have the same origin the creator and sovereign of the universe whose name is Yahweh or Jehovah or Yahweh. The message contained in the book of Revelation concerns each of us believers and unbelievers Christians and non-Christians Ignorant rich and poor don't take things what happen if we don't believe in them what God has predicted will come to pass without fail. Let us take cognizance of the prophecy concerning the whole earth let us open our ears to the message of hope which is proposed to us Jesus Christ reaches out to each of us whoever we are. Let us have the hope that is offered to us Jesus Christ offers everlasting life to each of us that's why it is important that we pay attention that's very important that we stay connected to Jesus Christ because Jesus Christ is the hope of humanity without Jesus Christ there is no hope without him there is no thing that we can do or we can imagine. Brothers and sisters this is the end of Revelation chapter 1 verse 1. Let chapter 1 verse 1 where it says the revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave unto him to show unto his servant the events which most soon take place and which he made known by sending his angel to his servant John. Now let's see Revelation chapter 1 verse 2 Jesus Christ is distact from God his father and as they consider and we can see that Jesus Christ is come on this earth not to testify about him he testifies about his father who testified to the word of God in the testimony of Jesus Christ in all that is so this is what John had done. Now let's see there is there some difference between the father and the son as we can see there are this verse speak of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ which lead us to question the connection that exists between God and Jesus Christ. There is a lot of thoughts there is a lot of things said about that but let's see according to the Bible and then there is confusion many confusion concerning the nature of God and Jesus have crept among the Christian religion since the council of Messiah in Asia minor that's why we say Turkey in 325 there is some confusion many confusion even at this time. For some Jesus Christ and God the father are the same and for some of them and as we know today we still consider this point of view. For others Jesus and God the father are distinct but equal and equal and part of a Trinity with the Holy Spirit whom they also consider as a person. The doctrine of the Trinity teach the existence of a compromised composite God made us of three persons of equal divinity, glory, power, eternity, and majesty. Which of them that is true but we know that Jesus Christ this point of view the first one said Jesus and God the father are the same and the other said they are distinct. What did Jesus Christ say and teach? Let's see and we will find out if they are equal or the same. Father and son according to our imagination or what we can say. He is talking about his father. Jesus prayed to God by raising his eyes to heaven and saying my father. John 17 verse 1. He declares in John 17 verse 3 and 4 says now eternal life consists in knowing you the only and true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I have made your glory known on earth by accomplishing the work you entrusted to me. Jesus clearly distinguishes between the one and true God. His father whose name is Jehovah Yahweh YHWH in the Hebrew scripture and the one whom God sent to earth Jesus Christ. If Jesus were God the father would he have prayed to himself? This is something that we as humans we can say no. Did he send himself to earth? Would he have entrusted himself with a mission? It would make no sense. Yes when something like that was said by his father as he testified that there is a father there is a son. Jesus Christ was sent to earth by his father. Jesus accomplished the work entrusted to him by his father. Jesus made known the glory of his father on earth. Obviously Jesus is submissive subordinate to his father and desire more than anything to glorify his father. Yes this is something that we have to know. Jesus Christ testified and said Jesus was sent to earth by his father. He accomplished the work that God entrusted to him. Jesus obeyed his father. He raised the dead, healed the sick. He has done a lot of things to glorify his father. And then he taught that his father Jehovah God is greater than he and that he does nothing on his own initiative but is subject to his father. And he is God and ruler. Jesus Christ made known the glory of his father. And then Jesus showed total obedience until death. He accomplished the mission that God had entrusted to him. He came to earth to do his father's will and not his own. It was God who resurrected Jesus. He didn't come back to life by his own. That's right. And then we have many things to show that Jesus Christ obeyed his father. Jesus also declared that he came down to do his father's will and not his own. And that he acts according to the command that his father gave him. And that he does nothing on his own initiative. He also declared that his father is greater than him. The apostle Paul wrote that the head of Christ is God. Jesus also said that his father loves him and will give him power to do greater works. To obey someone and to be submitted to him necessarily implies two distinct people, one being superior to the other in authority. All of Jesus' words bring out a deep respect, an entire submission, a work accomplished in the greatest seriousness and in the desire to please God. Because of this, the father has complete confidence in Jesus and will give him the power to do much greater works. When we read John chapter 6 verse 38, For I have come down from heaven, not to do my will, but the will of him who sent me. In 1 Corinthians chapter 11 verse 3, the head of Christ is God. In John 14 verse 28 and 31, If you love me, you would rejoice that I am going to the father, for my father is greater than me. However, in this way the world will know that I love the father and that I act according to the order that the father has even made. In John 5 verse 19-20, Jesus answers these reporters by saying to them, Surely, I assure you, the one can, the son can do nothing to his own initiative. He acts only according to what he sees the father doing. Whatever the father does, the son also does, for the father loves the son and shows him everything he does. He will even give him the power to do greater works than any you have seen so far, and you will be amazed. Jesus also said in Matthew 18 verse 6, He who has seen me has seen the father. Jesus and his father are similar, and have the same quality, love and kindness. Characterize them a deep bond. Unite Jesus and his father in doing his baptizing in the garden. A voice from heaven said, He, this is my son, my beloved who has all my approval. Matthew 3 verse 17. Jesus would not have given his approval to himself. The fact that one is approved by the other implies a relationship of authority and not of equality. Shortly before his death, Jesus had prayed to his father, In this death, nevertheless, let not my will be done, but yours. Finally, if God himself had been crucified, who would have risen him? Moreover, Jesus after his resurrection, Jesus stayed to marry Ann Magdala, the first person who had the privilege of seeing the rising Jesus Christ. He said, Jesus said to her, Mary. She turned around and said to him, in Hebrew, Rabboni, that is to say, master. Jesus said to her, do not hold me back, for I have not yet ascended to my father, but go to my brothers and tell them that I am ascending to my father and your father, to my God and your God. Mary of Magdala went and announced to the disciples that she had seen the Lord and that he had told her this. In this verse, Jesus explained that he must ascend to his father. If he must ascend to him, it is because Jesus and his father are not in the same place, so they can't be the same person. Furthermore, Jesus said, I ascend to my father and your father. As creator, he is the father of Jesus and of all humans. Is Samuel coming back? Of all humans and to my God and your God. If Jesus ascends to God, his father is his God. It is because he obviously considers him to be greater, more powerful, more sacred than him. This means that he worships him and honors him with deep and reverent adoration. Thus, all these verses together demonstrate that Jesus and God are two different persons, one being the father and the other the son, both being united by the powerful bond of fulfilling love. Jesus Christ is completely submitted and subordinate to his father, whom he considers his head, and his God. God and Jesus' words are united in fulfilling divine purpose and fulfilling Bible prophecy. God has given Jesus Christ all power in heaven and on earth to direct all entanglement, as he himself predicted in Revelation. Also, therefore, we can imagine the relationship there between the two. When we see Jesus and then we must obey him. He has done great things and paid the price and gave us hope of salvation. Without Jesus Christ, there is no hope. Listen to this music. All over the earth, God is raising up a new breed of wealth builders who will use their money to shape the course of world history. Welcome to the key. God. Oh, we see. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
