EL GRILLO Y EL SAPO

Once upon a time, a cricket was peacefully sitting on a leaf, trying to eat. Suddenly, it heard a loud noise approaching. The cricket decided to hide to see what it was. A huge toad jumped into the place, causing everything to shake. The cricket was scared and didn't know what to do. It couldn't let itself be seen, as it could become a meal for the toad. The toad knew that there was a lot of food in that area, and many invertebrates came there, so it decided to wait for an easy prey. This complicated the situation for the cricket, who tried to hide even more but slipped from the leaf and fell into the grass. The toad immediately spotted it and tried to swallow it with its long, sticky tongue. However, the cricket was quick. It grabbed a sticky leaf and placed it on top of itself. When the toad's tongue touched the leaf, it caused the toad a lot of pain and made El grillo y el sapo. Érase una vez, estaba un grillo posado sobre la hoja de una planta tratando de alimentarse. El grillo estaba muy tranquilo, pero de repente escuchaba un estruendoso ruido que se acercaba. Entonces decidió esconderse para darse cuenta que era. Al instante, se acercó al lugar un enorme sapo que con su salto estremecía todo. Al ver tan enorme amenaza, el grillo se asustó y no hallaba que hacer. El grillo no se podía dejar ver porque podría ser un platillo para aquel anfibio. El sapo sabía que en ese lugar había una fuerza importante de alimentos y que allí llegaban muchos invertebrados, por lo que decidió aguardar por una presa fácil. Todo esto le complicó la situación al grillo, quien tratándose de esconder aún más, se resbaló de la hoja donde estaba y cayó entre el pasto. El sapo lo divisó enseguida y trató de engullirlo utilizando su larga y pegajosa lengua, pero el grillo fue ágil, tomó una hoja de pringamosa y la puso encima de él. El sapo, con su larga lengua, atrapó aquella hoja que al pegarse a su lengua le causó mucho dolor y lo hizo dar varios saltos hasta que cayó a un abismo. Así el grillo se deshizo del sapo y pudo vivir tranquilo en su hábitat.
