Nothing to say, yet
Lee Boyd is excited to bring a message about Spirit, Soul, and Body, based on Andrew Womack's teachings. The Bible study is open to anyone, and it aims to clarify the confusion around these concepts. Understanding is crucial for frustrated Christians, as the truth is found in the Bible. It's not just about going to Heaven, but about bringing Heaven into our lives. We are called to be light in a dark world, not blending in but shining with our faith. Christians should remain strong even in difficult times, displaying their true nature. Lee encourages living a lifestyle of evangelism by loving and ministering to others every day. Knowing scripture is important as the Holy Spirit brings it to mind during conversations. Lee challenges listeners to be excited about their identity in Christ and to let the Word change them. Seeking God and putting Him first will bring blessings into their lives. I give myself away. Hello, this is Lee Boyd. I'm so excited to be bringing you this message this afternoon. Something that I had on my heart, and many of you know that we're going to be teaching Spirit, Soul, and Body, part of Andrew Womack's teaching on Spirit, Soul, and Body, which really changed our life many years, several years ago when we were in Bible College at Karis Bible College. I just wanted to say a couple things to you while we are doing this. This Bible study is for anyone in Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina. If you'll notice, if you go to Karis Bible Studies, we're the closest one to you. But all people are welcome from any state, location. We're about an hour and 45, 50 minutes from Greensboro. But we're, like I said, so excited. The reason we're doing this is because a lot of people are confused about Spirit, Soul, and Body, that they think that we just have a soul and a body, but not a spirit. This teaching is so good because it really, if you're a frustrated Christian, which many Christians are and that you shouldn't be, it's because you have a lack of understanding. The Bible tells us to make sure we, in all of our getting, get understanding. That really, the truth is in the Bible, but we have to know the truth. And the only way we can get the truth is to get in the Word and let the Word get in us. And it's really not about going to Heaven. It's about getting Heaven into us. Yes, you want to ask Jesus into your life, but that's not what Jesus taught. What Jesus taught was, He said in Matthew 16, 24, He said, if anyone comes after me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. It is important to go to Heaven, but what God wants, what Jesus wants is, is Heaven to get into you, and things to be on Earth as it is in Heaven. You see, you're the Jesus that some people may only see, ever only see. And God's called us to be light in this dark world. And the reason it's dark is because of absence of light. See, we don't have a problem with darkness, we have a problem with the absence of light. So see, we're supposed to be light. Matthew chapter 5 talks about we're supposed to be light and salt. So everywhere we go, when we go out in public and we're out around people and friends and all, they should see a difference in us. We should not blend in with the rest of the world. We should be a light. We're a peculiar people, that's what the Bible says. And when people see us and when the world falls apart around us, we shouldn't fall apart. You know, if you're an orange and you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out. How come when Christians get squeezed, something else comes out? Isn't that odd? Man, the more you get squeezed, man, the more Jesus should come out. But people are looking for a real Christian, a Christian who loves Jesus with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his mind, with everything in his being, and that is seeking him first in his righteousness. And not just seeking blessings, but seeking the blesser of the blessings. And when you seek the blesser of the blessings, the blessings will come. And the reason they come is for you to be a blessing. And so it's so exciting to me that I get up every day and nobody owes me anything. No one owes me anything. I've gotten free of myself and other people. And because of that, when I go out every day, I minister to people every day that I've never met before. It's called lifestyle evangelism, lifestyle Christianity. It's really easy. No one owes you anything. You go out and you just love people. And a lot of times my conversations are by just simply saying, hello, how are you? And I'll tell you, if God gives word through you, he'll get people to you. Amen. And that's the key thing. That's why it's important to know the scripture, because what will happen is, is with the Holy Spirit, he'll bring scripture back into remembrance when you're talking to someone. So I just challenge you to go out and be light in the world and be excited and realize who you are in Christ. To get in the word, let the word get in you, and it'll change you. That's what the word is for, to change you, to allow for you to really get your identity in who God says that you are. And I'll tell you, your life will change. And if you just seek him with all your heart, you don't have to worry about anything else in life, because if you seek him first, then all these other things will be added to you. Amen. Well, God bless you. All together journey. All together worthy. All together wonderful to be. Here I am, Lord. Here I am, Lord.
